What will break immersion is the lack of such cars. Maybe not fully blown race cars, but if they have modifications which reflect real world street cars then if anything it'll help immersion.

Where abouts? I'm a city boy, so I see a lot of variety. It depends on where you are, I guess.

They already said there's going to be a range of performance upgrades, so I assume there will be a decent amount of basic things you can do to your car. I'm already expecting paint (obviously) and a selection of rims. Don't know what they'll do visually as that will actually require 3D modelling on each individual car, at least with rims you just use the same models and position them.

LMFAO. Yes you do... At least here in Australia you do. Every fifth car you see is modified. Be it rims, lowered, exhaust - The basic stuff mostly. Almost everybody in my circles are interested in cars one way or another, everybody I went to school with, even the girls. There are like 4 car collectors in my street alone, and it isn't a very big street, that's not including those who have a modified newer car in their driveway. If you wander around in the city you'll see a few Porsche's, AMG's, even Ferrari's and Lambo's sometimes. It isn't a rarity. You're almost guaranteed to see one.

I'm not expecting much as it isn't a car game, probably not even as far as GTA goes. But I'll be happy with a few simplicities... The cowl hood and drag slicks. So me and me mates can do some good old fashioned street racing. A flashlight will help also, so we can flag the races. I assume there will be a hand held flashlight, it's a pretty basic thing.

I'm aware of this. I was just suggesting a sort of account reset because if there were consequences then maybe people would think twice before doing it, just like you would in real life. The gas chamber could be a penalty for severe crimes. Maybe that could be an option for some private servers. Eh, whatever.

I plan to be a Michael Westen... Being a roll playing game where "you can do anything", I'm hoping that there's nothing stopping one from free-lancing and spying on people. Or go head-to-head with a gang with that gang is harassing a player or think someone is planning to screw them over. Now that I think about it - I can't think of any reason why you'd need a P.I. in this game. Screw it, cocaine smuggler, it is.

I think mass shootings/murders should be allowed and uncontrolled, however there should be consequences if you kill too many people and get caught. Life in prison or the gas chamber for example - Then the player will have to start over with a new character. However anything purchased with real money stays with the account. That's just my two cents.

From what I've read and heard, it does sound like it'll be A LOT like Idenity. But I think that's a good thing. A bit of competition is always good. And it looks like Idenity will be out sooner, Everywhere seems like it's quite a few years away since they pretty much just started it. I'm personally looking forward to both, and think they'll both have a different unique experience. Judging by the name "Everywhere", it sounds like they're doing a massive open world thing, kind of like The Crew with the whole United States. Everywhere. But yeah, we'll be playing Identity long before Everywhere comes out. Both games will shine in their own time. Identity for a few years, and then Everywhere. And both will shine in their own areas of gameplay, Identity might be strong for it's community, where in Everywhere it's something different. It actually excites me, I'm looking forward to seeing both games.

Yeah, I'm 23 also. I too thought that would be the dominant age. I'm actually surprised to see that 16-18 has the most votes thus far.

Meh... I'd like some chopper style bikes and some inspired by classic Harley Davidsons.

Not the type of missions you're thinking of... You plan your own mission through your career path. -
I am MrVice. I just found out about this game and I am pretty impressed so far. Looks amazing, the idea behind it is even more so. I will be truly amazed if you guys can actually pull it off. Seems like a massive project. A bit about me, I enjoy playing video games and stuff, I reside in Australia. And as you can probably tell by the name, I am a Miami Vice nut. Any chance of being able to be an undercover cop like my hero Sonny Crockett in the game?

Is anything going to be done about 12 year old kids coming in and playing the game like it's GTA? (Going around on killing sprees and killing other players for the fun of it) That might get annoying. I feel like it'll be inevitable. Also, sort of a side-question. What will happen when the player does die? Do they start over or something?
