You do realize your taxes were set at 50% and you only lowered them by 200,000$. The fact that you say these taxes are too high is ridiculous and hypocritical. And with free healthcare people would feel at ease. Who in their right mind would say "Free healthcare? Guess I'll rush in there with gun blazing." Nobody, why? Because they have everything to lose. Their guns and the scene that they were in. And depending on what type of server, their actual life is on the line. So far what I've seen from you Mr. Hetch is a re work of MY tax system and what I can assume will be a rip off of my healthcare plan as well. On top of this your taxes are extreme and unnecessary. You'll be making everybody poor while you stay rich. If you want to make money, stick to being a business man Mr. Hetch. The Island doesn't need greed. It needs a leader who is willing to make sacrifices for himself.

I have no problem with the subject. The only time I have a problem with it is when it's forced onto other people against their own will. But if a man wants to be with a man I don't mind.
  6. Other Elected Positions

That's exactly right. So if any of my supporters or people thinking of voting see this please feel free to share ideas with me and I will take them into heavy consideration. As for your field of work, I do hope it goes exactly how you want it to go. And who knows, maybe you'll be the top attorney out there. Good luck friend.
  7. Other Elected Positions

No problem. And if you're ever looking for a government job feel free to join my campaign. I'm always looking for new and fresh ideas that could help the Island.
  8. Other Elected Positions

I'm not entirely sure if they've gone and said anything about making new positions in the government. Maybe later on when they see more people in servers and stuff

The way I'll have it is 3-5% for the lower class 6-10% for the middle class and 10, 15, 20% for upper class.

"Regulating Taxes on working people will not only bring more jobs but also putting more people in those jobs. A person who makes 8$ an hour gets taxed 5%,10% and even 15% and sometimes even up to but not limited to 35%. You take a middle class man who works 10 hours a day and makes 10 dollars an hour. He gets taxed 15% for his week of pay. He takes home 425$ or somewhere around there. That money could be going towards his house payments. His food. His utilities or even buying clothes for his children. Regulating taxes is the number one thing we need to work on. I want to lower the tax rate to at least 3% to give the lower/middle class man or woman that extra incentive to work harder for those promotions. A happy worker is a hard worker." And if that doesn't work out immediately ill raise it by only a couple of percent. I'm basing it off of the number of people and the jobs they'll be doing. So far I've managed to think up that it will work.

Thank you for asking, and thank you for being a hard working citizen in advance. Will the tax switch be instant?- If I'm elected it will be one of the very first things I do. I want to even the economy out instead of just cutting against the grain. So to answer your question, yes. But I'll maintain it to help people ease into it. What other sources of income will you have to keep our roads maintained- Well based on the fact that we won't be banning guns we would be saving a lot of money from that alone. I'm hoping to make the economy so stable that the people could contribute if they want, but do not have to. But whatever is left over from filing the healthcare will be used to help maintain the roads. - Will you be able to afford adequate police, firemen, and health services, as well as schools with this tax plan?- With the whatever left over money we have from spending it on our healthcare I would assume so. Considering the amount of citizens there are and the amount of them paying taxes we should have more than enough. Doctors, Police and Firefighters will suffer no loss in payment because of something like this. And if it comes to it I will put out my own income so they continue to be paid. - Will the 3% tax be for lower and middle class only? If yes, what will the higher class tax be set at? What is the justification for this difference?- Yes, that is the plan. And the other classes will see gradual increases in their taxes due to their higher annual salary. The reason for this is to balance things out and have everybody paying fair taxes. I've seen this done before but on a smaller scale and it's worked perfectly for them. -When you say the tax regulation is the "number one thing" to work on, do you in fact mean tax regulation is more important than, say, gun control?- When I say that it's me saying "The faster we can make things stable the faster we could see a possible decrease in crime." Gun control is incredibly important but I think that we should focus on making money for people so they don't have to resort to the crime. I really do hope I've answered your questions accordingly and if I didn't please feel free to reply back or PM asking anything else. Thank you for your time.

Free Healthcare is easy to control. You tax people based on their annual income, not raise the interest all together or else you take away more money and you get rich off of it. With my plan people would get free healthcare and then not have to pay an arm and a leg just to survive. And your ban on guns, this is using the tax payer dollars that your practically stealing from them in the first place. You're blowing money on trying to keep guns away. At least with my plan we save money and people stay safe.
  13. Thomas Hetch for governer

With my Universal Healthcare and not banning guns the Island would produce more money and become more stable. Gene Smith, vote for me if you'd like a government that wants to make money for the people.
  14. Gene Smith for Governor

If you read any part of my campaign it clearly says that guns are fine. It's the people who use them and that we need to regulate who gets them. The fact that you came into my page and promoted yourself is incredibly disrespectful. Taxes should be based on the annual income, not based on the class type. That doesn't fix anything. I'm working to make every person on the Island feel like after they work for their money they still get to keep it. So while your taxing does 1/3 of the job my proposal does nearly 3/3. I'm offering Universal Healthcare to the people that need it. The officers, lawyers, doctors and even the labor workers. They all deserved free health care. We set up steps to get it and from there you have it. Guns don't kill people and you know that for a fact. If you give a gun to a sane man for protection he uses it when somebody breaks into his home or robs him at knife point. Regulations are the way to go. With my plan we actually save money by not having to ban weapons and paying extra money for special units to dispose of all the guns on the Island.

Maybe when the time comes you and I can ride through the back woods and do some fun illegal stuff. Could be fun.

I got a whole heap of family in North Carolina and South Carolina. I love the look and sound of everything down there and would love to have one of my characters be from there. Because people there are really nice.

*Mafia walks into a restaurant.* "Why are you running an illegal business?" "What do you mean?" "You took their order, so you're obviously doing something illegal." Just because you see something doesn't mean it's true. Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear. Because when you assume you make an ass out of you and me.

In no way am I saying that the lower class will be eliminated. I'm simply stating that it will take the place of middle class metaphorically. Lower class is lower class no matter what. And when we are faced with inflation we adjust. We adjust for the inflation if we get any.
  20. Gene Smith for Governor

Well with better government spending and not wasteful spending we would seek out to raise the growth of our economy. Make it extremely stable so that people can make more money in usually low paying jobs. My goal is to make The Island rich and have everybody have money. That way we are in what I would call "The Golden Age" of our economy.
  21. Gene Smith for Governor

I do think we would be able to fully compensate for it. With the amount of people living on the Island and the amount of businesses within it, our economy could spike incredibly high within a 5-10 month span. With that, more money would equal higher taxes based on your income. A lower class citizen makes 5-10,000 dollars in a year, we take 5-10% of that income which is only a mere 1,000 dollars. But as the financial groups raise more money can be taken from taxes. The goal is to raise the economic growth to the point where the lower class would be equivalent to the middle class. So in that I do think yes, we would be able to back up the claim of free healthcare based on the percentage of people and their taxing from annual income.

I am now looking for employees for my campaign. Graphic Designer: Open Promoter: Open And of course I need public supporters. And while I'm not going to ask you to support me if you don't want to, I do ask for anybody who is supporting me to leave a comment and say that you do. It would be very much appreciated. And as for my plans for office. My gun policy stands as is. I don't believe that somebody having a gun makes them dangerous. It's the person alone that is dangerous. I'm also still very firm at equality in the marketplace and economy. Lower, Middle and Upper will all pay taxes according to their annual income. Along with free health care paid for by your taxes. Along with these taxes it will help pay for better equipment for our Police, Hospitals and Fire Departments so they don't have any trouble doing their job and avoid danger. And as always, if you have any questions about my campaign please feel free to ask. I would like to hear what you have to say. Have a wonderful day.
  23. Break out of prison?

Not to toot my own horn but I do plan on extending the prison time so you get more RP experience in there which sets you up for those prison breaks. I'm running for Governor and if I'm elected I will put that at the top of my list.

You never know. Stranger things have happened.
  25. Joel Keys for Governor

I don't doubt that he couldn't. But if he will? That's an entirely different story. If he makes the right decisions and doesn't take any loans from countries we would be okay. He needs to stop the wasting of money.
