I was thinking about the live talk shows etc and was thinking of other cool features to dig into the virtual reality-ness of Identity. It would be cool to have a friends list come in the form of an address book or roll-a-dex or phone number logged in a cell phone. Just a small thought to add to immersion And I don't know if anyone still actually uses phone books but maybe businesses could be registered with a phone book or put on an "online" search?

Moira, quite involved in a Farmer's Digest magazine on the reading rack, witnesses the whole scene, frozen in place. "Are you okay?" then... "Where are the cops when you need 'em?" She moves to the store's window and peers out then turns to the men. "I hear crime is on the rise...Shame, too. I thought the new government was on top of it.."

I'm gunna have to upgrade sometime before it comes out too... It'll be well worth it though. This old potato needs to be buried or thrown out a window.

Love your ideas! Catalogs sound pretty cool for those in the fashion industry or maybe artists showcasing their work.

Yeah my husband doesn't get it but I can't live without it lol Sorry it got derailed a bit.

And I get super heated about cultural stuff... I live in Chicago where we're kinda plagued by cultures fighting with others and each other... so living it everyday and seeing how it ends up in tragedy a lot of the time really gets me passionate. I'm glad we can have civil debates here though.

I actually drink hot tea with cream and sugar But back to the topic.... I can see small scale tournies being made if we're given a ball and an open field somewhere

I never said you were wrong about it being an "English" sport before we re-named it, did I? Attacking what we call sports in America would be like me attacking how the English call Cigarettes, "fags" etc... It's silly and inconsiderate to push aside our American culture and way of saying things. Right or wrong in your mind doesn't matter here. What matters is that you understand that people have the freedom/SHOULD have the freedom here to call things as they are in their relative culture, and just because the English have a different name for Soccer doesn't make it okay/right to jump down our throats about calling it the name we've all grown up with, in our own country. Tomatoes/Tomatoes... Still the same thing. I usually don't like getting in to stuff like this but asserting that someone is wrong based on cultural terms is rude imo. This is a forum where people of different nationalities will inevitably get together. Don't you want everyone to feel welcome? It seems that you do, based on all your helpful posts.

In America, Soccer and Football are two different things. As an American, to me, Soccer is Soccer and Football is Football. Feel free to call it whatever you want but please don't suggest we're saying wrong because it's different in our culture. No disrespect intended, I just think that was a little uncalled for.

A way to regulate the criminal population?
Clickerita replied to Calico's topic in Ideas & Suggestions
I like this idea - Maybe there could be a crime activity to non-crime activity ratio. So, not just cops get paid more but the average joe delivering pizzas would get paid more as well for doing legal money making activities. It would be a way to balance out community activities. -
Okay, so I wasn't losing my mind when I said #484

True - maybe if the snow went down the back of that land mass as well it could be - I find it strange that it sits over a lake of some sort but hard to tell where the devs want to go with it

Morning Hangover from Party we all had but forgot everything that happened last night
Clickerita replied to Miki_Chee's topic in The Pub
Feeling suddenly embarrassed, Moira looks at the floor then scooches away from DJ roswell. She then realizes she has an alibi for half the night and feels slightly better. "Shit!" Moira looks to Miki. "I.. was doing shots with some guy.. that's when I started feeling sick. He kept asking for us to go to a room but I went and threw up instead. He had brown hair and work boots - if I hadn't have gotten sick, I would have gone with him too..." -
Bottom left area has a range with snow it looks like.

Morning Hangover from Party we all had but forgot everything that happened last night
Clickerita replied to Miki_Chee's topic in The Pub
Moira jumps in her chair, a small shriek escaping her lips. "Holy shit!" She slowly stands up and walks to the man on his knees. She puts a hand on his shoulder and squeezes gently. "I think he's just asleep. If I was hitting that thing like he was, I'm pretty sure I'd be out cold too." -

"How do we even tell how long we've been here?" Moira stands and moves to a wall mirror behind the couch. She notices her hair is flatter than usual, and there's an oily sheen to it. She turns to the rest, "I did my hair right before I left home... my hair now looks...two days old?" She turns around to the stark naked body of a balding man, moving with meaning towards the window. "Surely he isn't..." The man hops out the window. Moira looks from face to face. "Well, that just happened." Without a second thought she goes to the window and slams it shut. -

Moira goes to open her mouth but then raises her eyebrows and thinks twice. "Wait a minute...." She looks back and forth between the men. "Are you those radio show alien guys?.. and I think this is as close as I can get to her without hurling. Maybe someone else could check for some kind of wound?" Moira takes a deep breath, immediately regretting doing so, then gags yet again before rushing back to the lounge chair and sitting back down. -

Moira gags again watching the man fearlessly poke the body. "I.. hate to break it to you..." She gags, "but that's real... and... is waking up with no memory normal for you?!" She doesn't expect an answer. The man's casual poking and prodding seems to get her over the shock of a dead human being. She grows curious, rises out of the lounge hair and walks over to the body. Moira notices the lack of blood on her face. She was pretty once, even beautiful. -

Moira gags at the already pungent smell of blood and... other things. "My God, I've never seen a dead body before...well, human anyway." She begins to breathe through her mouth, the flowery smell of detergent making her tongue feel dry. "There's so much blood.." She begins to breathe harder then looks away. Staring at the wall, she asks, "Was it.. done by a knife.." Her voice lowers to a soft mumble, "Or.. a gun?" -
Yep very true, too. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what all is included.

"I'm Moira." Watching the guys joke around and get high lightens her mood. "My chickens aren't going to be happy with me... I usually feed them at dawn." She moves to a lounge chair next to the couch and takes a seat, crossing her legs. She takes stock of her pockets and realizes her phone isn't there, but the keys to the farmhouse still are. "Ugh, my phone is gone too... I doubt it's a coincidence." She breathes in a cloud of smoke, tasting it on her tongue. "Yeah, I definitely smoked weed last night."
