Beta is expected to be released late 2016 or early 2017. Although this is far away, the modules are parts of the game that will be out before that! If you pledge for beta access you get access to all modules.

Since it's changed manually they change the progress bar when they think it's really time. Give it. Couple more months and module should be ready

As of now there will only be one island. They have said if they expand the map by adding more it will be DLC.
