I am going biker (I may have answered this before, but it may have been a different thread) because I finally get the opportunity to really do it properly with Identity. I have been RPing a biker since 2009 in TLAD servers, and I have never gotten the real opportunity to truly RP a Biker. Identity is going to give me that true opportunity. I am hoping to live the life that my old man took my family out of in 2000-2001, when I was a kid. I wanted to go into that lifestyle but my old man showed me the dangers of that lifestyle, so I will RP instead lol.

They did take out manual shifting via hair triggering the throttle, however you can activate your Turbo via hair triggering the throttle, although they made it more of a challenge to time it. I do have to agree the driving physics were way better in GTA IV, even driving a motorcycle in IV felt more realistic. You can drive at a normal speed in V, however you have to find the right position on the throttle which takes time because you have to find the specific spot.

You will get trolls in this game, it is really inevitable. Give people the ability to be or do whatever they want, and naturally you will have some players who will look to exploit and abuse it. Asylum is thankfully taking action to try and prevent it from being a big issue in servers. Hopefully the systems they put in place do prevent a lot of trolling, allowing the game to be played to the fullest.

Lmao I know all too well what you are referring to...GTA is rampant with them. Can't forget the Fly-By-Night Criminal They are the type you normally see being awkward in criminal situations. They try to act powerful and smart about their criminality, however they end up drawing attention to themselves and anyone they become involved with. Examples of them is speaking loudly in public situations about criminal actions, or trying to act like a major kingpin in situations they are overwhelmed by. "Where can I buy drugs and guns!?" (Said in front of civilians in large public area) "Yo, I will kill you and everyone here that witnesses it!" (Again spoke in public loudly, like they are proving something) They normally end up in prison all the time, or most of the time because they aren't smart enough to learn to keep themselves out.

I am working a personal passion project and I am looking for a free Website host, builder, etc, that I can easily create multiple pages and have a very detailed and deep forum. Being able to make custom appilcations, and have an on-website or on-forum currency/banking system. Anyone know any website, or anything that I can have many or all of these options?
-
Calm down Mr.6 Posts..... I am sure Asylum will rush their passion product for a random like you......

Any suggestions for which paid service would be the best option for my needs in my OP?
-
Thank you both for your help. I will look into both options

How Animation In identity Is Realistic?
The1TheOnlyGonzo replied to bababanabab's topic in The Town Square
Lol smh.... Anyway back to OP. I do think there will be some forms of animation in Identity, although I am not sure how detailed it will be because Devs have yet to dicuss it, as far as I have noticed. -

I am confused, why mention this if you do not wish to discuss what you meant by a bias? Regardless I will not carry on any further. -

What were you talking about then, if I may ask? Not looking to argue with you or anything, just wondering what bias you are referring to. -
How Animation In identity Is Realistic?
The1TheOnlyGonzo replied to bababanabab's topic in The Town Square
I really don't think that was the intent, criminality knows no specific race, sex, religion, etc. @bababanabab i don't think the devs have really shed any light on that yet. I would hope they would have some walk animations or action animations specific to the career path, however I honestly do not know. -

I have no money invested in Identity lol, assumptions get people killed...just saying... Also Fraud is about money, and this video game has received funding from all over the world, why wouldn't government agencies get involved to deal with it. There is nothing any local authorities can do if this is fraudulent. Again quit throwing your pathetic opinion as fact kid... -

Clearly you are an idiot kid....you think the FBI or CIA would allow this to go on for years? They Would have already shut this down a long time ago. Smh at this retards who cant be patient.... -

First off James wasn't being a jerk with his reply, clearly you took it as an insult or to be snippy, however if you actually read his replies, all point out fact, and have no ill intent. Also their goal was to have a module out, yes, however the amount of detail we saw in the apartment customization clearly shows the dedication. From this it is pretty easy to assume any and all delays are because of the amount of depth they are establishing in the the game. To simply dismiss the quality from the original images and videos to the most recent video, is very ignorant and frustrates any fan of quality work. Also To think this is a scam is also incredibly ignorant, due to the attention this game has already received. If this was a scam in anyway, it would have already been discovered at this point, and you most likely would have received you money back. As for constant updates, good luck finding any company/developer that releases constant updates to their audience. A majority of developers release small, spiratic content in the early stages of development to spark interest and gain financial backing if needed. Once they are at beta, or post beta, then they begin to release constant content, due to the fact they have content to show. -
Lol yea I know... maybe one day they will add something like that. Or perhaps someone will try to make it themselves in game. You never know right? Maybe Asylum will want to see if they can give someone a stroke. Lol

That is my exact point and attitude! Furthermore I won't apologize for I said and I still stand by it, if anyone thinks they could do a better job than Asylum, than prove it and make a game. Other than that, stop complaining and comparing them to large franchise titles, sit back, and be patient. I get having question, however a bit of research can save you lots of annoyance. This is a passion project from a small group, not a franchise from a large company. If you need proof of their work, there is other Asylum projects out there you can play now. Identity is just their main, and maybe, only focus now. Let's give them the time to make a solid game which can be added to and made great. Let's not pressure and rush. I get for those who have invested, you want to see something for your money, and you will, just give them the time to show you. -
I think allowing video games in Identity would be kind of cool, and would open up another possible Avenue for a career path. Only downside would be the constant nose bleeds of how meta that would be...

You do realise they have like 400 thousand, not even close to 3 million. Also again they have a 9 man development team, unlike most company's, who have multiple development teams, and normally an entire department dedicated to development. Furthermore, you have to realise that you are one of many who have posted the same basic, uninformed comments, which get rather annoying. Hell there are 3 or 4 threads dedicated to the delay alone. Also youR blanketed statements with no fact behind them are rather annoying, because you throw them as fact. An example is your gross over estimation of their funding, or the comparison of their devolpement to a large development house of a game creator. It shows you have taken little time to research, and have taken your own opinion as fact for Identity. -

Regardless of if you find my comments rude and uncalled for, the fact remains. We need to be patient because we are dealing with a 9 man development team and I am not sure how many are even fulltime. We need to remember this is an indie developer and they have pressure from not only us, but the industry itself. Just take a breath, and be patient. If this is a scam, it will get outed. If this is going to be a flop, it will get outed. Nothing like that has happened thus far in development, and it probably never will. We just all need to step back and realise we have been spoiled by blockbuster developers for the past 10 years, and we are used to their standard of practice. -

How is it rude to tell people to get off their ass and make their own game if they are impatient? Also nowhere did I specify you, so your feelings of being the victim is on you. I am simply stating to make your own game, if anyone thinks they can do it better than Asylum is, with the resources they have. Goddam this age of professional offence and victims is retarded. It is honestly more rude to question the developers like this, on a forum they made for us, and about a game they are pioneering with limited resources. -

Impatience. Contrary to popular belief vague release dates, and delays are very common in video games. Even blockbuster developers delay and give vague releases (look at Rockstar and RDR2 and Agent). The main reasoning behind this is contractual obligation with platforms such as Sony, Microsoft, Steam, etc. Most developers will give a vague date to please those backing the game, however it is a rough guideline and normally is set up to allow for a delay from the developer. As for keeping everyone up to date and informed, that is truly at the discretion of the development team. Asylum, like many other companies, are keeping the information regarding their game limited. This is not only to prevent other developers from possibly stealing the concept, and also acts as advertising method for the public. Games can take multiple years to be properly made, and some games have even taken a decade to make. If your that impatient, get off your fat ass, and make your own damn game. Then we can tell you that you are a scam and never going to come out, when you release a vague date or have to delay. SMH at this entitled culture we have now. -
I am not reading through this entire debate because I have seen some misinformation regarding Leslie Benzies. First and foremost he was forced to resign from Rockstar, and in turn sued Rockstar for it which was settled about a month ago. Though this is not backed by Rockstar, this is backed by one of the largest names from Rockstar (his resignation and lawsuit caused a drop in Rockstar stocks) and has interest from Microsoft and Sony. Rockstar itself is a large brand, however that brand was built by the Houser brothers and Leslie Benzies, his name alone has power still. Leslie Benzies was against mircotransactions and his primary focus was story and character development, the Housers are the micro-hungry-whores or "Cockstar". He is essentially Kojima of Rockstar..

To answer your question regarding making food. Devs have stated players can make food, and they could have side effects (depending on how your food is made) and will have health benefits. Player made food will be more healing than NPC made food. From what is stated you cannot starve either (maybe private servers will be different), you are just penalized for malnutrition. They don't want to make eating an annoying and tedious task in game.

Lol I apologize if it seemed like I was trying to crap on your or your OP, i just was looking to inform. Also @NerdMouse another possible advantage with marriage would be having a second person watching over your estate, which could prevent your estate being put up for auction if you die.
