Beta available?
Kyleson replied to sevegas's question in Tourism (Q&A)
Not at this moment, no. Plus, the modules (beta, essentially) are only going to be available for those who pledge $30 or more towards the game -
Motorways/Highways?
Kyleson replied to Zeus's question in Tourism (Q&A)
Highways would be pretty cool. Since I'm going to be a graffiti artist in the game, it would be a great place for my name to get known! -
I like the idea of universal healthcare, increasing the minimum wage, the higher taxes for wealthy elite and email-safety, but there's a few things I don't like here: 1: Having more police presence may reduce crime in an area, but also instills fear and intimidation in citizens, more specifically minorities. 2: I, myself, don't favor the idea of regulating marijuana, as regulation leads to incarceration. I believe that marijuana should be legalized entirely, so that technicalities and laws don't ruin someone's life over a plant. 3: Strict gun-control, as you've proposed here, only affects law-abiding citizens. Those who intend on using guns for malice will find a way to get their hands on a gun, no matter what. This would only harm citizens who intend to use their guns for safety.

Going based off your profile picture, I'm not sure if I'd want you to be a cop....

Your role-play name: Kyle Palmer Your website name: Drose Why you wanna join DTL.: For some time, I've wanted to be a delivery-man. My reasoning so is because you always see something new. Whether it be new people, new places, and so on and so forth. I think it would be cool to be able to deliver things, since I've never done it before. : What Position do you wanna join the Company: Driver Do you have a working mic: Sort of. It tends to act up from time-to-time, but overall, yes I have a mic.
-
I'm currently interested in your Driver position.

:So according to what I know. guns are going to be scarce. And since money in the game is going be valued realistically, crafting and purchasing guns is going to be quite hard. NPCs in the game will fill-in the role as cashiers for select stores and shops, but I'm not sure if they're going to be present at gun stores. They might be, though. We'll just have to wait and see.

An offline mode would be pretty boring. Imagine Altis Life, but without any players, at all. At that point, you're just playing a tech demo.

I'm currently looking at a computer that has a GTX 1070. I want to be able to experience the game at max settings, so I think that should do the job.

I assume a leather leopard-striped couch wouldn't be your thing....

You getting the TV in the morning is fine by me, I'll probably have my own laptop or something. As for the paintings; I'm a bit of an artist myself, so you may or may not like my paintings. They won't be simple stick-figure paintings that's for sure....

Will you have any stores in Roseport? I'm probably going to live there, so having a store there would be convenient. Also, another question I have is - will you be utilizing sweatshops in foreign countries as a means of manufacturing your line of clothing, or will they be made locally or at least by people who aren't getting paid less than a dollar an hour.....
-
How will you handle non-violent criminals? E.g: drug dealers, hackers, graffiti artists, drug addicts, shoplifters and so on and so forth. Will you still have non-violent criminals face jail-time, or will you have another form of punishment to deal with them?

Fake IDs would be pretty cool. Since I'm probably going to dabble a bit into crime, I think having a fake ID would be pretty handy.

This is exactly my point. For the type of RPG that Identity is going to be, playing it on consoles would be kind of....odd, to say the least
-
I feel that a console port would take away from the experience that the developers are striving for. Here are my reasons for why a console port would be bad for Identity: 1: Trolls will be more prevalent throughout the game, ultimately ruining the role-playing experience. 2: The hardware on consoles is limited when compared to PCs. Because so, graphics might have to be tuned-down to accommodate for consoles, butchering the graphics. 3: Controls might also have to be tuned-down due to the fact that controllers have a limited number of buttons, which may limit features and such. 4: Overall, you just get a better experience on PC. With better graphics, better controls, and better everything, I feel that a console port would be pointless.

What should the name of the island be? I think calling it simply 'Identity island' wouldn't cut it. Post your suggestions down below.

Perhaps I should've researched this topic before making a new one. My bad.

Lack of dev feedback/updates?
Kyleson replied to jremi's question in Tourism (Q&A)
I believe the time they're absent on Twitter is the time being used to make the module stable, and polished. I'm fine with them not being active on social media, as long as the module is playable and polished, I'm all good. You won't regret it. -
Well, graffiti is going to be a thing in the game, so maybe you can get into that.

What if there was a select amount of land in Roseport or any of the major cites that was devoted for holding a farmer's market. What I mean is that, what if on Saturday and Sunday (in real life), player farmers and merchants could sell their food and merchandise to other players, in an open-event similar to a real-life farmer's market. Farmers and merchants could rent display shelves and pop-up tents to sell their products. I think it would be interesting.
-
How much would the rent be, and what would be the rules?
-
I also heard you would have to go pee and poo, so that should be interesting.... lol

I heard a while back that your character will actually need to fulfill daily tasks, including eating and drinking. So I'm sure they're going to add a hunger and thirst meter, or if they allow, you can turn off all HUD and go into hardcore-mode.
