Crowd funding and an investor's financial backing can only stretch so far in the development of a game like Identity. A revolutionary approach that aims to compete with MMORPG games out now or about to be released into the market. My idea would be to get the community more involved in the production process of Identity; a game that requires its players to be fully immersed. So far, from a community involvement aspect, we've met the goal of pledging over $180,000 towards this project. Sure, this is nowhere near enough to complete the game in it's entirety with all that's involved, but apart from that and filling the forums with ideas and suggestions we could contribute in more ways than one! Think of it like literally turning Identity into a game being for the community, about the community and by the community. This would also be a convenient and inexpensive way to outsource some of the workload and in turn get people's work seen in a game they're invested in. I'm sure both yourself @Paratus and @Motown wouldn't mind lightening the load by delegating tasks to people interested in or who're qualified; artists, 3D model artists, voice actors, project team leaders or members and the several other roles that are likely to be needed in the future. The (I suspect thousands of) assets or work created for Identity would be owned by Asylum of course, but credit will be given to the respective community members who end up being part of the 'team'. If at a later stage certain contributors are churning out the goods, they could possibly be paid for their hard work. This is just a thought I had and I totally understand that for proprietary reasons not just anyone can have access or be permitted to do certain things; but if the community is engaged in a way that has never been done before in an MMORPG game like this, then it'd be a win-win and a game changer in more ways than one!

I tend to stay away from those types of Youtuber's and channels as well. I like listening to and watching honest, frank reviews - not a paid promo spot just because he or she has a certain amount of subscribers.

I use a Mac for all of my video editing & photography work. No complaints from me, and the specs are on par with even the most "elitist" of high performance PC's on the market today. Thankfully, work paid for the upgrades. I'm thinking that by the time Identity comes out though (and much to @JackBlade's loathing) being available on Mac, Linux and in future gaming consoles, I'd still probably buy a PC gaming laptop, just to enjoy the full 60FPS that you can enjoy when running the game on full/ultra settings! I'm over desktops - I love being portable, thanks to the Macbook Pro.

I wonder if loans can be taken out from the bank for small business startups, home loans or personal loans. But not just given to anyone willy-nilly... They have to have a good credit rating and job that can afford to pay off the loan over time, dependant on how much they earn.

If they were trying to murder you and you were temporarily knocked out, taking your bandages to prevent you from healing yourself is the first thing a murderer or a sadistic person would do!

If you die and decide to wait until a medic arrives to revive you, there is no stopping the person who killed you or others for that matter to rob your person thus losing the money you have on you and items.

Being that Identity are going to be using TeamSpeak codecs, disguising/masking your voice as a female with a plugin shouldn't be hard? For me, I'll be sticking to a male character.

Being that sex isn't going included in gameplay, having "kids" sadly won't be possible. I wouldn't mind having kids or adopting! Even if they're NPC till someone fills the spot.

On release, I doubt I'd even get into an official server! There'll be 1000's of people connecting all at once. So I'd wait about a week after release before I joined. When I do join, I would use my vehicle to explore the map first before viewing my apartment and starting a career. Also @HairyGrenade, what kind of vehicle did you get?
