For some reason the forums aren't letting me attach any images to any of my new topics. Does anybody know anything?

Don't worry, I have met many many people that are going to pursue firefighting and being a paramedic. Very few of the large amount of people that are actually on these forums will most likely vote or even see this thread.

languages spoken How Diverse is our community?
Bellanova replied to JamesLuck01's topic in The Town Square
I grew up speaking English and Polish. So yes, English is my "main" language, but my parents raised me speaking both. I mainly only speak Polish when I am with family and/or penpals. -

So, what you're saying is that if someone doesn't agree with you.... they get killed? I think you belong in an asylum more than a governing position.

In the future, please look around the forums a little bit before asking a general question. Not only is the question in almost every FAQ, but there are literally hundreds of other threads asking the exact same question. Use your resources, please.

Will there be mobile homes?
Bellanova replied to Cohen834's question in Tourism (Q&A)
There will most likely be homes modeled to look like mobile homes, but you will definitely not be able to move them. -
Oh fuck. Well I'm fucking stupid

I really hope that this game won't be riddled with children. The game would suck if it was

Oh haha, well don't mind me. I've never even heard of that.

Hi everyone! I think one of the most important things in making a game work well is the UI or user interface. Not only does it need to work well, but it needs to look pretty. I recently posted something similar to this in another thread, but I decided it might as well have its own thread where people can add other ideas. My favorite User Interface ever in a game can be found in Forza Horizon 3. I have mentioned this game quite a few times to the devs in order for inspiration for vehicle design and interaction. The UI is absolutely stunning and works incredibly to suit the needs of the game. The main menu is my favorite part, which happens to look a little bit like the start menu in Windows 8 and 10 (granted, Forza is a game produced by Microsoft). There are multiple tabs that are categorized for different uses and each tab has multiple things for you choose from to continue to the next menu. There are moving pictures and videos, as well as variation between picture backgrounds and opaque colored tabs. Some tabs even display news and will continue through all of the different things that the game would like to announce without you having the open the tab. Here is the best video on YouTube that I could find that exercises it without me having to make a video myself. I think that if the devs were going to use another game as inspiration, it should be this one. Many MMOs lack an original and beautiful UI, but I think that this could change with Identity along with the many other things that Identity is improving upon. Please leave feedback and further ideas in the comments, and please use specific game references if it is not an original idea of your own so that I can look them up! Thanks.

Yeah that makes sense but there still needs to be some sort of a UI for essential stuff, and I think it should be pretty lol

Oh, I didn't know that. That kinda sucks. Well, if you can, tell Star Citizen that I love his idea.

This is an incredibly creative and inventive way to advertise! Great idea! Hope to see it be put into action. Here are some others ideas for referral incentives: A T-shirt or hat similar to the Founder's Hat. A painting or poster for your house or apartment A coupon for a free haircut or movie (I don't know, sounds kinda stupid)

Are there gonna be mechanics or something to prevent this?
Bellanova replied to Mastahakill's topic in Ideas & Suggestions
The game is going to encourage and influence proper traffic rules. Ultimately, it will be up to the players to keep order on the road (and I personally hope that the rules will not only be followed by many, but also enforced by the police). But remember that emergency vehicles are supposed to pass through red lights if they are in pursuit of an emergency. An ambulance may sometimes be forced to stop in the middle of the road if it is the best place to quickly get to the emergency. Drivers are expected to pull to the side of the road if an emergency vehicle is approaching with their sirens on in order to provide a fast and safe route for the vehicle to get to their emergency. -
Hmm. It's interesting and I think it's a start but I personally would like something a little prettier and original. I don't know if you have ever played Forza, but I am in love with the UI in Forza Horizon 3. Check it out in this video: Everything about the ui in this game is stunning, but I especially love the main menu. I'll admit that it looks a little bit like the menu in Windows 8, but it's more neutral and much prettier (and unlike Windows 8, it works incredibly well for the game.)

Just so you know, what you described is a balanced system. It is not supposed to be easy to escape after committing a huge crime; just like in real life. The police are supposed to have an upper hand, that is what is supposed to make a society safe. I think what you want is a world where it is acceptable and easy to commit felonies and then get away with them, which is neither realistic or going to happen. Crime is going to be challenging, and law enforcement is going to be dangerous and also challenging. Identity isn't going to be like Grand Theft Auto where the game is designed for you to quickly and effectively commit huge crimes with little strategy and planning and then just escape. And remember, if on the off chance that you do escape from the police in identity, you are going to be wanted forever until you are locked away unlike GTA where you are out of sight for 2 minutes and then suddenly you're free. A life of crime is going to be a life of struggle, with only few people that are hugely successful. The game is designed to be immersive, and I think the team is doing a very effective job at doing so.

If you watched the housing insider, he talked about how all furniture is custom. It is designed by either you or a manufacturer and that player will be able to craft it for you to buy.

This is a very important issue and deserves your utmost and undivided attention. Think wisely and carefully before choosing an answer. Thank you for your time.

You might be able to be an fashion consultant, maybe? If people need help finding a look for them you could sit down with them and plan out fashion and hair. Kind of like a wedding planner, but for looks. I don't know. I'm trying to be creative, haha.
