Have they said careers won't be in the modules?

Hi guys, I was just wondering how things will work with the modules/servers, couple of questions: 1. When a module is released will that module be on a type of experimental server with regular tweaks/updates? And will these servers stay up until beta/release? 2. How many player slots are there likely to be for the modules, I know the aim is 300, but can we expect that straight of the bat? 3. Will the servers have a queue system in place?

So there won't be an option for more rented public hives connected to the official ones?

Do we know if the servers will be public or private hives?

It will be interesting to see how it works on official servers, as with the modules I expect that private servers won't be available.

Welcome Curtis! I know exactly what you mean about wanting a game like this for a long time, I feel the same, it's certainly got a lot going for it! Have you pledged/purchased your passport yet? That's the best way to get involved with the testing, if you go for Founder or above you will get to play the modules before the beta is released.

I know that Police Officers won't be able to arrest you without reason so I am guessing there would be restrictions in place for a judge too. We know there will be a jury, and they would decide the verdict anyway right? So not sure what the judges powers would entail really. That would be good, as long as the Mayor isn't corrupt lol

So I was just wondering, with a few different groups on here and with over 2000 members what the percentage was when it comes to good vs evil, will you be our hero helping out the new players and upholding the law? Will you be living a life of crime and shady deals? Or will you be chilling in your mansion living the life of leisure? I just thought it would be interesting to see the balance of players on the forum.

It certainly seems that way with the amount of criminal groups on here, hopefully being a police officer will be well paid and have some good perks to attract more players

There will be cell phones, and you'll be able to call your contacts on them which I think is really cool!

I can understand that sometimes it may be frustrating that people do not utilize the search function on forums, but lets try to remember not everyone uses them as much as some of us do. Things may be posted in the wrong place, or the same questions asked over and over but unfortunately that will always be the case, it's just the way it is. If it gets that annoying just take a step back, you don't have to answer them after all. I run a couple of communities for DayZ and I guarantee every Wednesday without fail someone will ask why the stable servers are down, which is maintenance and has been every Wednesday since it began, but no doubt someone will get the game an experience that for the first time and ask tomorrow
