No construction or destruction unfortunately. Only certain smaller things can be destroyed, like street lights and benches for example.

You can work for a tow truck company and roadside assistance, and when you towed the broken car to your workplace, you need to fix it.

I really do hope that these devs know what they are doing, and really hope the game gets completed eventually and be as good as it sounds. I know it is possible, but I'm not sure if the devs will get frustrated with how complex and hard it is to make a huge game like this and just simply decide to give up before or after town square release. imo, I have no idea if this game will see the light of day, but I really hope it does, and I really hope it turns out to be as good as advertised or even better. That is why I pledged $30, to support the devs and to hopefully be able to play the game eventually, because I love the idea of it. I am also a bit concerned about the pledged money they got, because 1 million is not much when it comes to making massive and complex games like this. One more concern is, the task tracker seems to have stopped moving, or have slowed down more and more with each task completed. Although as long as the devs are willing to try, there is always hope for a release.

Cool! Although I'm not very good at chess, but I like playing it. I usually don't think ahead enough to make good moves, and end up losing the match. If there's other noobs I can play against, then I'd join in, otherwise I could spectate.

I hope we can mute the trolls and kids screaming into mics and making weird noises. Also, there might be players that uses a car to run over everyone they see and crash into people's cars on purpose, although cops can deal with that.

I'd love that tbh. There should be normal servers, zombie servers and servers that start normal, but has a chance of a zombie virus breaking out and spreading to players. It has huge potential. Then the hordes of player zombies can chase the healthy players around the map, and the healthy players can hide in shops and stuff and barricade it and build traps. I doubt devs are going to do this, but I like the idea.

They can actually kamikaze with cars too, by running people over or crashing into people's cars on purpose to damage them. -

I don't think aircraft would cut off communication between players. What if the pilot has to speak to the control tower, which can be run by players, or if he takes passengers to their destination? Although as devs said it would make the island feel too small, so it makes sense to not have air travel, unless they release a new island in a dlc.- 11 replies

The "depth" of jobs in Identity? Long term rewarding gameplay?

Hey, I bought that game today and I love it! I do agree with you, jobs in identity should work in similar ways and have similar depth, then it will be great. This fishing sim isn't very complicated, so it shouldn't really be hard to put that kind of depth into identity's jobs. I mean, the job in this fishing sim is basically, you go out, catch fish and sell fish, etc. Although you have to drop lines in the water and let it sit for 20 in game hours before going back there and do a simple mini-game to pull in the fish and then a simple mini-game to gut the fish. I think even those small types of mini-games in the jobs should be possible in identity and would work great. Oh, and of course you have to repair and refuel your boat and buy bait and stuff.
