Ideas that don't require their own thread - MEGAthread
SilberDrachen893 replied to SilberDrachen893's topic in Ideas & Suggestions
Yes, bank heists are a thing already in Identity. I've seen you post alot in this subforum, so I'll answer all your threads so far here - It won't be on consoles, due to still being early in development - "Detectives" - Yes, police are in the game, so are SWAT teams. No military due to keeping things realistic. All the guns are there, so you'll be able to roleplay terrorists and counter-terrorists. Yes, like CSGO - Fish will be in the game. So are land animals. - Marriage can be done through roleplay. All the needed resources are there. - Sex and children will NOT be in the game due to keeping the game fun and not get banned on Twitch. - Character models will show bullet wounds, but no dismemberment or gore so far. - There will be no NPC's in the game. -
Instead of making a new thread for every piece of thought you have, make a list of them in here

Police when the game's bugs cause you to do the opposite of what you wanted to do and they pull you over due to some bs. (Driving in SantosRP) *Name of a famous person* People who just join the game and start looking for the biggest baddest guns to massacre everyone for 2 minutes, then closes the game.

I'll pick the JB treatment. I'll at least keep the little hearing I have left and at times something awesome will blast. EXAMPLE Would you rather Work as a downtown grocery store cashier at rush hour or Work in retail in an area which doesn't speak any language you're familiar with

death Family Tree / Inheritance / Will
SilberDrachen893 replied to Vrilyze's topic in Ideas & Suggestions
I agree to the "will" thing. There should be an option to link accounts so if one party reports that the original player has passed away and shows evidence, they'll receive access to their belongings. There should be email notifications asking if is this true and only let human admins make the decision. Recently a friend of mine passed away so suddenly and death isn't something to be taken as a joke or be profited off of. -
Marrying someone can easily be done just by interaction between players. It goes like one player approaches another one and asks over voice chat "Hey, can I marry you?" and they'll respond. When both agree to the marriage, you can exchange a ring in your inventories possibly customized to have your names on 'em. You have the tools to roleplay it, it doesn't need to be a feature.

That laptop is definitely your answer here. Right now I'm running an i3 4160 @3.5GHz, 16GB 1600MHz RAM, and a MSi GT730 2GB videocard. So far I haven't found a game it wouldn't run. It did run the UE4 tech demo at ~20FPS, but all is just the video card's fault. So with a laptop that is Goliath next to my PC, you'll be set for around 5-10 years for the newest games.
-
Cool concept, but unfortunately the tech seems a bit too high a goal for Identity. Not to mention what quality cameras or webcams the players have or how accurately your image is translated into the customization sliders. If there will be a feature of such, I am confident in predicting it will just be like NBA 2K15

It does have wheel support. Thrustmaster, and since many people have logitech G27, G25, G29's.. I guess those will be supported as well. I own a Saitek R220, one of those cheap plastic 90'degree wheels with two pedals, and a Logitech MOMO. I hope the game doesn't stutter to the point of being SantosRP and APB where you hold the gas down and you're teleported somewhere infront of you.

I'm a heavy vaper myself, so this would fit my character Have the normal vape pens and the insane cloud beast mods too

Hey there. Just wanted to make a thread where all us troubled people can come and just write out our feelings, so when someone having the same thing comes along, they will gain a confidence boost knowing that they're not the only one suffering whatever tortures them. So feel free to write a post as long as you want, share meaningful love and support. Now here's what's happening to me. I am a weak and lowly motivated man. I love my safe space in my apartment behind the computer. I love being free, I love the video games I play, I love sleeping whenever I want and I love to consume various luxuries like good food and great alcoholic drinks. My family is poor, the apartment is small and everything I have so far has been with my school's monthly stipendium/allowance. I live a comfortable life with comfortable clothes on my back. I have mid-level education(one lower from high education), and I served in my city's military for 7 months before being released for tenuous bones, which would explain why I've always felt weak and tired. What I remember of my social life, I was accepted and a good friend to everyone. But what I call the "party" (Meaning the time when I was out every friday night, drinking, having fun with people) when it ended, I've just always felt like I'm noone important to anyone, a failure at any job I'll try to do, missing any crucial information as I dose off into my own mind when listening to someone talk about something lawful. I've always been a fan of the military. I like guns, I like armored vehicles, I was eager to learn tactics, learn how to be a leader, etc. I signed up for the military police, but also got infantry training, and we got to take part in ceremonies. I ended up seeing half of Estonia and I've done stuff that I never expected to in the past. Spend 5 days in the forest only eating MRE's, do 10 to 45km of walking with all my gear on my back, qualify for an actual assault rifle, attend a ceremony for our new president-elect and our first female president, etc. But for the price of doing those few 15-minutes of fame, I spent the rest of the time wandering around the barracks, looking at the same annoying white brick walls, pushing a mop around, following orders, standing at presidential guard, sit at a reception desk, listen to the others make cheap and childish jokes about me. I started to lose my mind for good. I thought I'll spend the free time trying to meditate and advance my persona, but sharing the room with people who don't speak my language(mental thought), just worsened the migraine I was suffering for almost over two years. The migraine started when I met a girl who I started dating. I was 17 and wanted to support this broken girl until she got back up. The 1 year and 3 month relationship was great when we actually met in real life and did things that couples do, but everything else was just.. numb and dull. I said to myself that I'll just let her dump me and I'll continue my life, doing whatever I want. But I did one mistake. I got too attached to her. At the final months of our relationship, she did enter a stage where we could hold a conversation that held my interest, and I finally started to think maybe I can stay in a relationship with her. Ha. Ha. She started going out, she spent a day or two after work at my place, but you know how heartbreaking it is to have someone tell you they'd rather spend their time with friends drinking, than with you? Enough was enough. I dumped her, then I took her back, and then I dumped her again. Saying that she has been a mindfuck for long enough. As I sent that text to her, I was on my way to the city. That was the night when the "party" stage started. After a week I wanted to see how she was doing, and she told me that she was doing great. She got high and had a friend take her virginity. Came to me as a shock and I blocked her on all social media. After I joined the military, I served for a few months, then during my service I had some foot pains. I was sent to an MRI scan and they found that my bones are seethrough. I was sent to a health center to take off the pressure, and I could spend almost all of my time in their wifi. There she wrote me again over a year. She told me that her boyfriend had been cheating on her eversince the day they got together. Honestly I laughed at the situation, because after I blocked her, whenever I couldn't stop thinking of her, I told myself "I hope that fucker cheats." And he did. Victory point for me. She told me that I can have booty calls, and thinks about taking me back. I said yeah for both, one is a lie. After that we talk for a bit, she seemed more talkative than before, but not to the point of my satisfaction. She is definitely hotter than before, so who wouldn't agree for a session. New year's eves never seem to turn out great for me. 16 to 17 wasn't different. I was a receptionist at my base, had to spend the whole night filling out documents and counting the inventory. Quiet, boring, isolated. She told me that she got drunk and made out with some random dude. I almost threw my fucking phone into shatters. You know that feeling when something is telling you that you're in a relationship with someone, but you're not, and everything she does with others makes you feel like you're being cheated on? Yeah, that one. Now I'm out of service 4 months before the reserve. I asked her to hang out, but no response. Later I messaged her on facebook, she doesn't talk much or just sends a selfie, completely overthrowing the topic. I feel like I've failed as I got attached to her. My whole fucking mindset and everything that I see is beautiful is her.. a fucking woman who shows almost zero attachment to me. Here's something to clarify what I'm talking about: I'm running on limited mobile 4G internet. I sent an SMS to her number, letting her know that I'm out of space. Not 3 seconds pass when she asks "who is dis" and I say who I am. Then she just sends an "oh, sorry, my bad, didn't save your number lol" and when I try to talk a bit more, the responses take a long while. For now since I feel like my vision is fading and I'm not even drunk, this is my message for her: "I CAN'T FUCKING TRUST YOU"

Damn, 500 bucks is an amount most of us here can only dream of in our bank accounts.

It would be quite awesome to fit your own personal car with police lights. Would help out if you're off-duty and you spot someone doing something bad.

Elexis enjoys rollerskating at the beach, palm trees slowly run past, the wind caresses her skin, a Sony walkman clipped onto her shorts and Nancy Sinatra - Sugar Town singing into her ears.

Please research about the game a bit yourself for a while before posting. There's already some images of characters which play to your expectations

*Elexis is sleeping, dreaming, a nightmare.* *She is sitting under a spotlight with a aqua hue. Around the light where she sits unable to move is a dark black mist. The paranoia is making her cry from the insane fear she is experiencing, she tries to punch and kick everything to wake up, but she can only wave her arms like a ragdoll being slightly pushed by a breeze. Her hits are like the soft kiss of a love partner. She can only hear strangers breathing too close for comfort. She is touched and groped by other worldly hands, more black faceless figures crawling up and out of the mist. One face appears in the corner of her eye, but she cannot look around. Her vision is stuck to her head like a piece of wood tied to a carcass with nails. Only when one of the hands move her head, she can see elsewhere. The figures start eating her up, she feels each and every inch of her skin being sucked into a black hole and her naked muscle bleeding and rubbing against the open air, stinging like an entire kilometer³ cube nest of wasps fucking their stingers into your fingertip.* *A phone call finally wakes her up.* *The sun is shining brightly through the wide window, heating the room up to 39 degrees C, which is over her normal body temperature. She takes off her blanket, she is sweaty, insanely smelly, bed sheets moist, her skin is red, and she's crying hysterically from the nightmare.* *She takes a moment to calm down and breathe. At first she doesn't even realise the phone is going off with an unfamiliar number dancing on the screen.* *Finally picking it up, she tries to talk professionally, but still sounds like she was raped 5 seconds ago.* "H-hello?" "Hello, I'm Lucia Cartman from Auto24." *The woman's voice sounds scottish* "Yes, how may I help you?" "I was asked to search for a Lamborghini Veneno for a documentary film" *She pronounces 'film* like 'fil-lm,' cutting the L in half* " and I found one on your site. I was wondering do you still happen to have the car and can we lend it for a day?" *Elexis takes a sudden breath related to her dizziness. She turns attention back to Lucia* "Yes, we have it." "Great!" *Lucia cheers* "Can I drop by the showroom right now?" *Elexis clears out the excessive tears in her eyes with blinking harder and rubbing her eyes* "I'm.. not at the showroom right now, but I'll be there in let's say.. two hours?" "Yes, I'll come by then." *Lucia agrees and both end the call* *Elexis throws the phone on the table, rests for a minute and proceeds to throw the bed sheets into the washer along with her underwear.* *She washes, gets dressed and drives the BMW 7 back to the showroom.* *Elexis pulls up and signs into her office, quickly scanning her makeup from the shiny 4K computer monitor. No issues, but eyes red like she's high from weed or been swimming in pure chlorine.* *After browsing around the internet, watching videos from terrorist news reports to cats shouting profanities, a mysterious Hyundai i30 rolls up to the parking lot.* *A pretty blonde girl in her early 20's wearing designer clothing walks into the showroom. Her long hair held together by a eternal shiny and chrome hair clip. Her heels tap loudly on the polished floor. She has a beige button-up coat, a black skirt, stockings don't even show any skin.* *The blonde looks around the showroom awkwardly like a scene from 50-shades of grey. Elexis jumps out of her seat, and heads to the balcony.* *Blondie is shocked by the glass door opening upstairs and she is frozen like a deer in headlights.* *Elexis carefully descends the curved staircase and greets supposedly Lucia with a smile* *They approach eachother and hold out their hands in close proximity.* "Hello, I'm Elexis Karina, Representative of Prestige Motorsports." *Lucia smiles to her* "Hello, I'm Lucia. I called." *Elexis makes random chitchat with Lucia as they walk to the Veneno. Elexis finds herself eyeballing Lucia and biting her lip frequently, Luci seems to be doing the same vice-versa.* *The Lamborghini Veneno sits in a separate spot in a climate controlled garage. The door is hard to open due to the different and colder air pressure.* *Lucia walks around the car, Elexis gives out some basic information of the car* "Lamborghini Veneno, built in Italy. It's one of their own designs as a part of the 'I design what I only fantasize about driving' mentality. Built out of only the best and purest materials found on the market. Lamborghini does not allow any mistakes with these kinds of vehicles. Not even a scratch in the wrong spot is acceptable for them. Usually bought only by UAE elites for 4.5 million and onward, and built only in the 5 to 8 unit range, it's a privilege and a once in a lifetime opportunity to even spot one on the street. Not even mentioning being let into the same room like we are right now." *Lucia butts in on the monologue* "I haven't been interested in cars for a long time, but I start seeing the appeal." "It doesn't matter what you drive or how expensive or exclusive it is. Cars are something that you have to love to enjoy." "I did some research and thought it was just some bull from a video game, but this seems much more interesting than the drawn pictures on Google." "I can see how to some it's like believing in aliens or the human reptiles, but this is here in the flesh. I first thought it was some 1000hp monster, but 740hp and accelerates like jumping off a bridge with a jetpack. Six-point-five liter V12, 7-speed automatic transmission." *Lucia chuckles* "I'll just stick to my 1.6 liter diesel Hyundai." "Did you just get your license?" "Yeah, I'm 21, but been in driving school for 4 years. Life has been getting in the way often." "I see." *She takes a breather, staring at the car.* "Everything good?" *She asks Lucia* "Yes, paperwork!" *Luci reminds Elexis* *Filling out the paperwork goes fine, printer has ink, no fades, paper is 100% authentic and signatures are both given* *Lucia is trying to make more small talk with Elexis, evenknow they already agreed to the Veneno to be transported tomorrow morning.* *It turns out Lucia lives on the same street as Elexis and they decide to carpool, since Elexis has used up her time with the BMW 7.* *They end up having coffee at Elexis' condo. The conversation goes to deeper and darker topics by the minute.* *Lucia works as an organizer for the Auto24 car sales site, which also sponsors a show called R-Gear, owns a race track near by, and is a huge player in the WRC events held four times a year for each season. Lucia herself is a college student studying law and wishes to become a finance advisor for huge corporations. Her family owns farmland back in Scotland, but she herself was more interested in city life than herding sheep for the rest of her life. The farming company is left to her brother Stan.* *Elexis reveals her run-ins with different mafia groups and her lust for revenge on criminals. She explains her life story to Lucia, which ends up with Lucia hanging on to Elexis and caressing her with the biggest and warmest hug she's ever given to anyone else.* *The girls spend the night together- watching movies, drinking sodas, ordering pizzas and trying out different looks. Eventually falling asleep in eachother's arms after their own private fashion and selfie show.* *In the morning both are confused, but happy to have met* *Lucia leaves for college and promises to hang out again sometime*
-
*Elexis grabbed the company's BMW 7-series and is back on the road to keep an eye on the weekly meetup in a mall parking lot.* *Everything seems fine until the meet is raided by flashing red and blue strobes* *Some flee, others stay calm.* *The police seem interested in a familiar silver Veilside RX7, which Eddie's kids fixed up. Since the officers are running at it with handguns drawn.* *The driver is arrested and taken away in a black Chevrolet Tahoe.* *She calls up Kevin to inform of the bust. Then Rosso to tell him of the potential return of a car* *The RX7 is towed.* *A week later an investigator hits by the showroom and asks for the jobs done on the vehicle.* *The investigator is interested in talking with Eddie's kids. Later Elexis is suspected of using illegal employment tactics.* - *At the interrigation table* "So you hired Jay and Peter without forming out an employment agreement and payed them the minimum monthly wage for small jobs?" *The inspector asks dressed in the most copy-pasted and worn out looks imaginable* "Five hundred dollars for a chip-tune?" "I didn't hire them, rather I bought their services. These kids are wonderful IT guys and it's no different than paying a programmer for a few lines of code for a car radio or a couple of kids putting up a lemonade stand" "But you know it's illegal for an adult to use child labor without forming a contract, which would insure tax and responsibilities" "Tax?" *She is becoming angry* "They're 17 years old and you want to get tax dollars off them?" "It's how our current constitution says. You cannot buy services from underaged individuals without paying the 20% tax." "Our showroom is already sending out $20,000 tax every month, does it really matter if two kids asked and consented to doing small jobs? I've never asked them to do anything else than fix electronics errors and dig out and put together the proper paperwork for the cars." "That much for such little work does spike curiosity. There must be something else they must be doing." "I'm a successful bitch. I just wish for them to be insured and confident when they find legal work or go into college. Take it as me sponsoring them." "Sponsoring.. I guess that's a good enough reason. But still there are the safety rules." "I confirm that they followed all the safety rules. They own work clothes, proper working tools, and safety gear. Once they finish college or come to work legally, I'll change those out with company equipment." *Elexis knows this legal talk is a waste of time. Peter and Jay's only danger if ever is a paper cut. They mostly sit around on laptops with wires running into the car and tap in numbers while listening to japanese pop music.* *The police man smiles and chuckles to himself while fiddling his pen lady-like* "Alright, I'll write out the report and we'll send you the decision in about a week." "Alright, farewell." *She leaves the station and drives home to her condo, picking up a watermelon on the way.* *The evening is spent watching Gaki no Tsukai torrents while eating cubes, drinking cider and vaping*

As far as I know the players themselves will be able to make clothing and such. Making some clothing or items micro-transactions wouldn't make sense. You can't go into a bank to buy money. If you're talking about advertisement, I would suggest like ingame billboards for let's say Coca Cola or some other massive brand since you're connected to the internet. I would agree to the devs choosing their own commercials to show ingame, not like Google ads which starts showing me "Single muslims in your area" whenever I accidentally click on a video which briefly mentions the Ottoman empire on a time stamp that I wasn't even paying attention on. Note: Kindof sleepy right now and stressed over the thought of going to work.
-
There was talk that you could add real life radio stations that other players would also hear. I would drive around blasting mp3s just to piss off the let's player masses who won't play properly

Vehicle suspension. Camber/Lower?

Love me some stance Some like to make it proper so there wouldn't be any body roll and others just like to be as silly as ever possible. I love and would do both -
*Elexis is on vacation up in the snowy mountains. Freezing temperatures, soft snow, roads paved in black ice and dusty mounds allover.* *Exhaust popping and engine revving can be heard deep in the forest with a windy road running through it. Muffled bass music can be heard in the distance.* *Lights flash by and tires squeal* *She brakes hard and pulls the back out, going into the drift around the hairpin turn. Tires barely keeping traction on the ice. Instead of going all out and cutting corners, she keeps in her own lane in case of oncoming traffic.* *Slow-mo, hard-co, pedal to the floor, keeping with the flow* *Eventually she evens out as a set of high beams come up the road. She brakes gently to slow her pace, but the oncoming car sways right at her, crashing into the Porsche and both ending up in a ditch.* *She swears and curses profanities in every single language she can think of* *She pushes her door open, the music cut off and coming on again* *She steps into the snow and brings her other foot out, accidentally stepping into a thin ice puddle. Luckly it isn't deep, but it did go into her shoe.* *She climbs up the ditch to find a good-looking guy slumped over the steering wheel.* *When she pulls him out of the seat, his nose is bleeding, mouth foaming, no response from the eyes nor is there any breathing. No pulse, no consciousness.* *After calling the police, paramedics, etc. She is transported to a nearby security house for a rest.* *The next morning she asks one of the rangers what happened to the other driver. It turns out he had died from a cocaine overdose, which he was taking while driving. He turned out to have been buying from someone from the Bad Company MC who was recently convicted for trade.* *Monday, Elexis is in her office, sending emails back and forth with an insurance representative for the $120,000 replacement with modifications included.*

*Elexis, confused on where to go, rolls down the window and sticks her head out, looking back at the others.* "Where the fuck are we going" *She cries out*
