I agree that this should be free of choice. I would play on servers with this just for the extra roleplay aspect of things to be given a character would lead to a bit more improvisation and making the world feel alive. Have you guys got any other ideas that you think could benefit the RP aspects?

As an alternative for the admins on the server to activate a preset of behavior guidlines that differentiate all players. This could help the problem with a 100 kids joining a server running around as their only goal being running people over with cars and screaming at people buying their lunch for an example! You log in/get accepted to a hardcore server. welcome! Here is your character sex: free choice(i choose male) name: Free choise (i choose Bill Anderson) preference jobs ”starting player alternatives” (fisherman, customer service or delivery) personality ”set by server” (a grumpy old man that can never admit he is wrong, hates children but have an exceptional love of cats. Lost hos wife 15 years ago. Drinks a bit to much. He havent had a day off work for the last 3 years. social: ”set by server” has a tendancy to get in trouble with people when drinking to much. People questioning him will often get him angry. He feels the best when people look up to him and listen to him talk(especially about his skills, his life or his love of cats) criminal behaviour ”set by server” when sober usually a good citizen. Had a DUI 1 year ago and might take his truck home drunk when he should have taken a taxi. Usually resolves problems with talking rather than with his fists. This man would not get involved in criminal behavior or violence if not threatened severly, or to defend somebody ... when sober ... Life goals: ”Set by admin” secretly dreaming of finding love again and starting up a small time fishing company with a few employes looking up to him and daily listening to him braging and talking about himself. following your characters preset behavior and life goals could also give you some kind of benefits. I believe having this ”player cards” could really benefit the roleplay aspect of the game! What do you guys think? the ability to change some of them after talking to an admin would be great and it would serve against servers with 50 police officers and 50 hardcore criminals. Reward good RPing players with this bennefits and alternatives for being loyal to servers and putting a real effort into roleplaying what do you guys think? /have a nice day. Patrik

I have played on quite a few altis life servers and i found the prison time as a good way to raise the excitement when doing crimes. My longest sentence was about an hour for several gas station robberys. I think an hour with bail(expensive one) is ok for the worst crimes. Living deep in the Forrest watching for cops all the time is really cool. Wouldnt be so cool if you didnt have anything to lose. I remember once that i evaded the cops on a great rp server for days. Car chases, hiding in sheds with helicopters searching with searchlights and just missing us with meters. Finnaly got caught after blowing a tire near a small altis town. 2 of us got tazed right away. One of us got taken 15 mins later after they cleared every last house with their flashlights! ?. We had a fun hour in jail just laughing and calming down after the chase

I dont want this to be a war simulator. The focus should be elsewhere!(even though i love guns). There can be some high end guns, but they should mainly be for the swat units. As a start i would like to see Kitschen knife, Old knife, hunting knife, army knife, baseball bat, fire axe, woodcutter axe, showel, machete old revolver, sigsauer p226, glock 17, 44 magnum, makarov Hunting shotgun, old shotgun, benelli old hunting rifle, modern hunting rifle MP5, AR15, AK47, mac 10, uzi I dont want everybody to run around with ARs after playing a few hours. You should really have to work for them and take big risks to own them. If you get a license and rob a bank getting caught. I want to se the entire swat clearing your arsenal out with a house warant ?? -
Even if you are creating servers that can have hundreds of players on them i really see the need for a variety of simple extra or basic jobs for people to get in and make a buck. Examples might be: delivery(like dhl, truck drivers), collectors(going out to search for certain objects/resources: stone, plants etc). The examples can be many! My point is to make the game enjoyable at low rate servers and times of day/night with less people on the servers. make random events happen. You are on your way down a small Forrest road to fish when you meet a farmer who ran out of gas. Go get him some and earn some cash and maybe some good reputation. make the game living both with and without a lot of players online

Hi guys! I am a paramedic in real life(ambulance nurse specialist). Me and my friends have had som really awesome moments playing arma life roleplaying as medics. i would love to play as a medic again and see a good medical system added in the game(a system that beginners can use but that also Will show bennefits for people willing to learn the real thing). If i would find a hardcore rp server it would be my nr one choice! looking forward hearing more about the ems and health care from the developers!
