not really. as an example, I worked 4 hours just to convert my end project from a java file to a jar because I had a problem with the sources of the files. if something as stupid as that can take 4 hours, think about how long the apartment inventory can take...

You mean people who don't refund immediately and make the development all that harder? Or do you mean people who actually have faith in the company they invested in? Or do you maybe mean people who actually do their research before posting something? Well if that's what you mean then yeah they still have supporters like me, because unlike you I don't create my account just so I can post 5 different replies bashing the game in 5 different discussions on the same day that I created the account.

we should not have full trust on "MOD Developers "
dagtag replied to thevopia's topic in The Town Square
Lets see, the art gallery has to work properly, the apartment inventory has to work properly, basically anything you can do in the module that has a function can contain bugs. The last thing they are fixing now is the apartment inventory so that decorating your apartment wont be buggy... so yeah, they are taking this time so there will be little to no bugs in the game. would you want to play a buggy game? I think not -
it wasn't supposed to release in 2016, the Kickstarter only allows the release date to be a certain amount of time after the Kickstarter was created. The first initial expected release date was 2017, between then and now they have thrown away all their code and rewritten all of it. And just so you know, this is a game that is still in development, delays with these games happen all the time... I would rather have it a year delayed than a game that cant run because the code doesn't work properly.

That's all just speculation, the way you composed your comment makes it seem like you are certain of this, which you cant be, therefor you are intentionally spreading false information. The reason why they are taking their time is so there will be little to no bugs in the game... learn how the course of development goes, stop being pessimistic and stop spreading lies... -
im a funder , i have read the funding policies in the website. i demand a full Explanation on the development
dagtag replied to thevopia's topic in The Town Square
well yeah if the mechanics are used in both games, but you get my point. SCUM doesn't really have mechanics that overlap with those of identity -

dagtag replied to thevopia's topic in The Town Square
you cant possibly compare SCUM to identity, SCUM is a whole other game franchise with different mechanics. Saying "have you seen the mechanics of SCUM" is useless because you cant simply compare the mechanics of two completely different games... And how do you even know how much funding SCUM has? I cant find any details regarding their funds whatsoever. -
okay everything is available in game except for the custom plate/phone number

The 100 dollars of is a bug. If you add it to your cart and go to checkout it should appear as 500 again.

The Elephant In The Room that most backers ignore !
dagtag replied to thevopia's topic in The Town Square
You do have to remember that somewhere along the development of the first module they threw away all their code and started from scratch. -
that fact doesn't really prove anything having to do with your statement. You say they wanted to release it around 2018 while the comment clearly states they were expecting it to release around 2018. There is a huge difference between wanting and expecting something.

Just like shieksdee said. Everything in the shop will be available in game, but the items from the shop are different in design.

You are forgetting the fact that there were other tasks to be done too, this task was the only task left for just one month. If you say "they have been working one one task for two months" thats false. They have been working on at least two tasks for two months(i dont know exctly how many have been completed last month). -
Those lamps, couches and styles you are talking avout are made by artists. Artists have done their part of town square and are not needed anymore, so if they would stop making these assets it wont change anything. Thats called spreading false information, noone knows when the full game is going to release so neither do you. Kickstarter only allows a year for the development time so this was not an expected release date. Since the kickstarter started in 2015 they couldnt go higher than 2016. There is a difference between updates and visual updates. If they dont update the tracker people are complaining that they cant see the progress that has been made. Just because the tracker says "updated 2 days ago" doesnt mean that there was any visual change. You cant just demand a release date, right now the tracker is the best option for them. There is no possibility of delays anymore now. Next time that you post something, please do your research.

Why does everyone keep saying 2 months, it has been 4 weeks --> 1 month, not 8 weeks --> 2 months -
sorry for the late reply but you will keep everything you had upon upgrading. If you switch packages you will also keep the rusted car.
-
from what I understood people cant break in apartments. All of your stuff should be safe there.
-
Pets, apartments and cars can be bought in game too. The reason why everything costs real money now is because this is how the development team gets their money. By buying something now with real money you are helping the developers. The apartments bought with real money will have a different floorplan though.
-
because some people might find it easier to remember a phone number that they chose themselves.
-
Every package has different items, on the previous shop when you upgraded from package you lost all the items from the previous package and got those of the new package. The reason the discount is different on the new website is because you keep all the items from the previous package too when upgrading. also the ride t-shirt pack bundle doesn't include the passport, the only thing it has are clothes.

its a common bug for some people, and the devs are already aware of it, from what I heard they will try and fix it as soon as they can
-
They were planning on using a more in depth description with the task tracker but it seems they havent come around to it yet.
-
That's all just speculation, I think you are underestimating that last task and the testing process of that task... "in testing" doesn't mean all they are doing is playing the game to test and see for some bugs... They run a set of simulations(stress testing) to find bugs, once they have found bugs they fix those bugs and stress test again, and so on and so on and so on...
-
I don't wanna be an ass but I think you mean to say "you don't mind the long wait"
-
I can assure you that it did say that you got to access the beta and the modules, not in that exact line though. With the previous shop you also had to pay an extra 15 dollars to play the modules. As you said yourself You paid to play the game upon release, not to play the modules too
