all I can say is, don't worry the devs havent reduced prices for everyone, might just be some bug, you wouldn't have been able to get the package cheaper than for 250
-
oh fair enough, price is displayed as 250 now tho as I said, might have just been the cache
-
the discount might be stuck because of your cache. It has to do with the discounts, if you go to your cart and try to checkout it should be displayed as 250 again, although I do think its kinda weird because your picture displays add to cart instead of player owned, are you sure that you own that package? maybe look in your inventory and see if you actually have the right items
-
yeah, every player meaning every player will get an apartment, those who pledged for an apartment get their apartment and those who didn't will be placed in a small apartment
-
If you've pledged to Identity's development and received an apartment or penthouse, you'll be able to explore all of its features. From decorating to furnishing, see what you can do with custom housing. Make your home your own or invite friends to join you. this is information given with the first module
-
people will already receive their apartment in the first module, people who don't have an apartment will get a hotel rroom
-
module 1 is a social module, there will be no economy, you cant earn/spend money yet...
-
The website is fairly new and has some bugs... the taks tracker stuck on 2 days is one of them
-
actually that's not true, this is a message to the devs as you have stated in your original post, I will say this again, a message and a topic or two very different things. see that? a message, not a topic
-
But we do know what it will contain... the last task is apartment inventory, and this is a big part of the game. Lucky is a moderator btw, not a developer
-
then why are there 3 people saying the topic is useless, seems like you cant be sure of anything
-
I can agree with that
-
this is not really up for discussion, this is a message to the devs, not a topic... a topic is a subject that people can talk about, see how these two things are completely different, therefor this is a useless topic
-
just because they are expected doesn't mean they are useful, topics used to be posted because people were confused and had a question, this topic is just someone who needs a bit of attention and shares his message to the devs... how can you call that a topic,
-
if everyone could just stop making useless topics like this one that would be great... there is literally no point to your topic whatsoever, this is it summed up: "I am waiting just like everyone else, I wont ask for a refund, hope its worth all of the delays" well then, ill tell you something, if everyone were to make a post like this the actual useful topics would be buried underneath a pile of these worthless posts, which is actually happening...
-
There can always be some new information in the dev blog that hasn't been mentioned yet Browsing through a thousand different comments isn't really an effective way to completely know what is going on though.
-
I am not disagreeing on the fact that the dev blog is a bit late I am just trying to correct some things which I think are wrong, I also think you are right that we wont ever know whether it is a tipping point or not, all I am saying is that the day upon creation should be a factor in the difference making if you get what I am saying
-
if the post itself makes a difference, the when makes a difference too... for example the dev blog releases tomorrow. you could say your post made a difference, however if you made this post a couple days ago and the dev blog releases tomorrow that would mean your post had no impact whatsoever... see how the when matters?
-
so you actually know that this post is useless... then why make it in the first place?
-
The website is an update on itself
-
that statement is wrong though. The webshop with the purchase options was planned and worked on for over a month, its not like they got the idea for the shop a couple days before it launched...
-
well the point of this game isn't to have another "arma experience"... Mods only allow you to do so much and asylum wants to give people the full roleplay experience, just implementing everything arma has to offer wont really do much good then now would it.
-
We are defending the devs because your points don't make any sense: These tasks "being left for 2 months" had nothing to do with the person who was in charge of updating the tracker... if the tasks aren't done they cant be checked as complete on the tracker. A task can take a while to be tested and to be cleared from bugs. "Developing games takes a long time" is a perfectly reasonable response... you have to take in account that this is being produced by a small development team. GTA may be a bigger game than this but still, the team behind it was way bigger and more experienced than asylum and they took 5 years to make GTA 5, right now we are at year 3 of Identity development... a game isn't just developed in weeks of time. First of all, these are the modelers, and if you havent payed any attention, they cant really do anything else for the first module. So what if they stream, they are working on optional things like lamps... The new website was planned a long time ago, and its usually the web developers that work on the website, not the programmers. 1 million dollars is nothing, welcome to game development, its not cheap... these "microtransactions" are here temporarily and are only available for those who want to pledge, once the game comes out they disappear... Fella, again, developing a game isn't cheap. And btw this 1 million in funding isn't just for the first module, you think they are going to spend all their funding's on one module in the hope they will receive more money? hell no... and even then this 1 million is nothing in game development. I would suggest next time you complain about game development you actually inform you on the subject before saying "1 million is more than enough to develop a game" because just reading through your post I can tell you don't know anything about game development...
-
no you cant, once you choose the gift option you have to pay 500 dollars again. Maybe this works with the discount system too for the person you are gifting to but idk about that.
-
the 500 dollar pack isn't on sale nor is it available for 180 dollars for everyone... The discounts per pack are different for every person depending on what packages you already have... the discount works like this: everything you already have from the package you want to upgrade to you don't need to pay for anymore.
