Welcome to Ash Hill!

I'm happy to wait 3 years. "Shame really...but thats business for you." But....it's still being updated, patched, and worked on. Until THEY say it's done, it's NOT done. Sorry but going to have to disagree and say you're wrong on this.

If you bought the 30$ Founder package on the identityrpg website, then you need to link your steam account to your identityrpg account at identityrpg.com. - That will provide you with a product key. Activate the product key on steam. It will also give you access to the second, and third module, as well as the beta, and full game release when those are available. If you bought the game from steam then you should be able to start it up, create a character (Or 3), and enter the Town Square. This is only a SOCIAL MODULE, meaning there will be little to do. If you only bought the 15$ Citizen package from the website then that will only allow you to access the game when the game is fully released. The Town Square will be getting content shortly, like the shooting range, cafe, bank, tattoo parlor, and barber shop. The second and third modules are expected to be about a year from release, respectively. Followed by the beta release, then the final game release. I hope this has cleared some things up and WELCOME to the Identity community!!!!

If you bought on website you need to link your steam account to your identityrpg.com account and it will give you a steam key. Beta is not out yet, ONLY the Town Square Module. Your pledged apartment is the only thing you can get and claim right now. When you're in the Town Square you'll hit Esc button, then Claim Pledged Items. 2 more modules, and then the beta release, and then the game release after that. -
Rip me I was gone and missed the release

Itβs the holidays, there are people on, and more will be on after the holidays. -
That still doesn't mean you know what's going to happen to it. No one does.

45$ for a full game release game is even cheap. You wanna play GTA V RP, that's great, still have to spend 60$ on the game to access the RP servers. Speculating that the game will have low player count when you have absolutely no idea is pretty reckless, the bottom line is no one will know until the game is released fully. Regardless of other option to RP, people will always look for different ways to explore roleplaying. Arma 3 and GTA V RP will not be the only thing to RP on. That's thinking small-minded imo.
-
Alright, so you'd rather pay 45$ now so you don't feel like it's a cheap game? Be more specific, from my standpoint, it sounds like you're complaining about the low price and associating that to the game going to fail? If so, again, inaccurate information, please show me proof that Asylum Ent. will not finish production of Identity. Comparing Identity to GTA 5 is sort of a joke. You're comparing a game that hasn't even fully been completed yet to a company worth about 3 billion dollars. Asylum does not have nearly enough resources or comes close to the amount of resource a company like Rockstar Games has.

Hmmmm. In order for them to implement new things or ideas or suggestions they need to keep patching the bugs and glitches, especially the ones that makes "the game not being stable anulf to enjoy." As the devs and community managers have said, when they get the Town Square to a stable enough state where they fell the majority of the bugs are resolved they'll start implementing new things for us to do. This is just the first alpha release, more will come bringing you more immersion to the game and to your roleplaying experience.

"4 years of development" is inaccurate. The Town Square was rebuilt about 3 times. Of those 3 times, the most recent was this past year which is the build everyone is playing on now. You could pay 15$ now and never have to pay a dime again in order to play the game when released. Or pay 15$ more equaling 30$ for all 3 module access, beta access, and game access. That seems like a pretty good deal to me. Not to mention access to a free studio apartment to decorate(Even if you didn't purchase one) until beta releases. I believe they don't have to copy the norm of other companies release practices when it comes to early access/beta/game release. This isn't a huge company, their turn-around for releasing product will be slower than what's expected. Just because one company does one thing, or releases a game in a certain amount of time, or prices their products differently doesn't mean anything.

How can i start any job?

Yes, wasn't positive on that so thank you for clearing it up for future reference -
I do to. I'm sure they will. they've been really good about fixing the bugs pretty efficiently.
-
Yes. They're working out the lighting slowly. It's better than it was where it seemed the saturation was cranked to max settings.
-
Oh for sure. I'm sure next year we'll have a whole bunch of Christmas stuff to put in our apartments, and I'm sure they're will be more decorations around the Town Square. I'm pretty surprised they put up what they did in that short of time after release and working out all those horrible bugs, that's what makes me hopeful for this game

Thanks. I'm a littttttle disappointedthe tree doesn't light up at night though

Head over to the Bug Report section and fill out a form to let them know. It's an organized way to receive bug reports so they can fix them in a quick manner. https://www.identityrpg.com/community/forum/40-bug-reporting/

is town square released and able to be played?
iStreamOnline replied to boster2013's question in Tourism (Q&A)
What you're going to want to do is go to Identityrpg.com and go to your account settings. link your steam account to your Identity account. Once done your Steam Key should show up where you linked accounts. Copy that key, open steam, go to Games, select activate product on steam. Paste the code and activate. The Town Square will begin to download.- 1 reply
