I Am Dopey Greetings all, the names Dopey. Many of you may remember me from the Arma 3 Asylum servers. I am 28 years old, I do not live in my mom's basement, but I wish I did, because then I'd have a really kickass rig to play on. I actually am a famery man, father and hubby. Basically the lazy sumbitch that won't get up to make his own coffee. Pardon my french. I have many life professions, but the few I want you all to know.. I'm a rocket scientist, astronaut.. and part time Yelper. I was once an Officer on the Asylum servers, thanks to "Officer Jinn".. but very shortly I turned rogue and started living a life of crime. My knack is robbing all of the gas stations in a row, without getting caught. I use to be a twitch streamer, when life allowed me the patience. Twitch.tv/DopeyZero9 > I have some good times on Asylum on the highlights. I also mess around with YT here and there, if you wna take a gander Youtube/Dopeyzero9 If you hadn't figured it out by the name, yes I am Dopey. In all ways possible. #420YoloSwaghashtag I am very excited to be a backer of Identity. I have longed for a game like this. I still hadn't decided what kind of character I would like to be, but if you have ever met me, you will know that I take Roleplay to 100 as much as I can, as much as my fellow RP'er will let me. So be expecting something wild from me. I am currently only backing 30$, however I hope the upgrade system is installed soon so I can keep adding to my pledge. I have a lot of faith in these guys. Paratus once took out a good portion of his time one day to personally help me with a vehicle problem on Asylum (even though now all me vehicles are gone!! ! but I guess I can cope) After having a conversation with him I quickly realized he knows his stuff. So I trust them with my $, with my pledge. I trust they will take this game far, as they have already created one of my personal all time favorites on Arma 3. So before I go writing a biography of my life, or what I want you to think is my life.. I welcome all of you to conversations of endless proportions, as I frequently check my email because I like to act important while in the grocery store line. Til next time!

@Olio Yessir, Illinois is not the place to Vacation to if anyone else chimes in on this convo. My life plan is to wait until my daughters are around the age to where they get serious boyfriends, then I'm moving far south.. Possibly Georgia hadn't decided where exactly yet, but the move is set in stone. I will be that dad. What kind of work are you doing in Iowa Olio? if you don't mind me asking?

@HairyGrenade Thank you! @TrueCrazyMan I thank you for the offer, not really sure being a Pirate is my thing, but I will still check you guys out and refer those I know who like to raid the high seas your way! Thx for the welcomes.

Sadly, I live in Illinois.. yeah not much to say about that! @Herzog Thank you for the gesture, I will look into this and keep this in mind. I have not decided what I want to do in Identity yet. Going from my persona from the Asylum servers.. I am sometimes a really friendly guy.. giving my good spoils away to the random guy saying "I'm new here".. to becoming a mass murderer.. or leading the cops on a 30 minute chase just for robbing a store. I like to consider myself a "small time crook". I will look into your offer.

A few Questions about DEATH
Dopey posted a question in Tourism (Q&A)
A Few Questions I know the subject is a little off, but my question is.. How easy will death be? as of now I am sure we are all familiar with how a "Quick" death is. Take a shot to the melon, yeah you should be seeing the light. but.. What if you didn't take a shot to the melon, what if someone stabbed you, shot you in the stomach.. in the leg.. ect. (< you do not have to answer, more of an example setting) Q.) How difficult will it be to fight to stay alive compared to dying? Q.) What will be the consequences of dying? Q.) How serious are the consequences of actually murdering someone and being charged "Guilty"? (Just trying to understand how much murdering would be going on, according to the level of penalty for murdering) Not sure if you had already answered these on your Twitter, if so I apologize beforehand. -

@Shimozukachi but what if someone has to do "Work" inside of prison in order for their "time" to go down, depending on the crime or level of crimes the harder the work. No Profit other than it starts the "timer" on your jail time. an how dare you stop reading!?> If you won't read that essay who else will!? -

@Shimozukachi I agree that 45 minutes is not long enough for a murder, but.. I'd hate to compare this game to Altis life.. but I remember spending an hour and some change in the prison, and no chance to appeal. Made me want to get out and find the cop who put me in there and roast him! Another part of me just wanted to log and do the time later. I think if there is a longer prison sentence than 45 minutes there should be plenty of activities, or a chance to escape even. If you escape, then I could see the status of murderer sticking around. I liked the idea of knowing who is a murderer but then I thought about it.. In real life does someone about to commit crime look or dress a certain way? Don't want to compare this to DayZ either but I have spent some time on the game, on the "Standalone" version. You meet some pretty friendly people and you hit it off, everything seems cool.. you spend hours together looting and having good conversations til later on you have your back turned while drinking a "Pipsi" and then all of a sudden (BOOM) lights out.. That so called "friendly" guy you spent a few hours with thinking he was cool has now showed his true face and murdered you. If you would of known he was a murderer you would of never had talked or interacted with them. Now- As to tattoos, I could see how "Gang" related murders could be reflected on your character with like the tattoos of tear droppings or something coming down the face, resembling the number of murders one has committed. -
what guns would you people like to see in ?

Thank you Andrew, your answers are really spot on! I do agree that a Prison sentence for murdering someone should be longer than 45 minutes, and murdering a cop should be even longer. -
I know it will never be possible due to certain laws prohibiting it, but it would be awesome if we could have our very own station broadcast on Identity that would allow folks to sign up to be a DJ for a certain time on the server or even make their own radio station people could follow. Even television shows lol likes news casts, I guess that could be more probable since it is player created content we would be televising.

I 2nd this. The thought of successfully containing everyone during a bank robbery, stopping the teller from hitting that silent alarm, wearing masks to conceal yourself.. getting away with the crime with no repercussions later. Stealing a parked car, and it not getting reported, so nobody knows it is stolen besides the thief. As to what I hope for everything that makes crimes easier, there is a counter. I.E - A Thief can get equipment to make his breaking and entering easier, more successful.. but a homeowner can install alarms, upgraded locks.. ect. to make it harder for the thief. I'm sure they have it covered but it is nice to think this will be a thing!

@JamesLuck01 Sounds awesome, I mean the money will likely be gone within the first few minutes because money burns holes in my pockets.. but the place to live doesn't sound all bad. I lived on the Streets of Athira for 6 months.. Homeless is not an option.

Hey thanks everyone for the Warm Welcomes! @JamesLuck01 I hope I can upgrade quick, wish I had more money to pledge right off the bat, but you know as a famery man I have to watch my budget I was thinking of leaning more towards "Homeowner".. good goal?
