Again, as Uber is a brand itself they cannot copy it as that would land Asylum in hot water. Generic taxi services will be added and that anyway.
-
Uber is a brand of taxi, and should identity incorporate that into the game a lawsuit may follow so nah.

@Herzog Unless that's gonna link up with the main story soon then it's a fail rp. This rp as a whole is too disjointed, there's too many different storylines and because of that people aren't going to read the posts very much as they don't tend to involve themselves a lot

I don't pay much attention to the driving, I tend to look out onto the fields at the side of the track instead. I can't help with the noise though, hearing each car zip past and acknowledging the engine noise fade into the distance. I take a sip of my coffee, and look at my watch. 9:50, and nobody else has arrived yet, how strange. Normally the track is bustling with wannabe showoffs by now! Still, it was the girl's time to leave and as she pulled out of the track and onto the entrance road the tracks on her car left a fine trail of sand and dirt behind her. I grimaced at the fact I would have to clean that up later, perhaps the notion of shooting twenty odd boy racers later today didn't sound so bad after all. The girl pulled by the cabin, she was most attractive I must say. My stare almost got a hold of me, however I quickly turned away, for i knew affection wasn't in my best interests for the time being due to my past divorce. She asked for my name as she pulled past. If i were a boy in his twenties I would have jumped at the chance thinking I may have a shot here, but me being in my mid 40's, and after several years of having my own name barked at me by my superiors I became kinda sick of it myself. "Stephen, Stephen is my name" is what I should have said, but Walter White sounded fitting enough for the time being. I don't know if she had ever seen Breaking Bad, I didn't really care either. As she drove out of the gates and disappeared around the corner, i listened as the noise of the engine faded into nothing. Then it all went quiet. Eerie quiet. I stared in silence at some birds who were trotting around the racetrack for a while before giving off a huge sigh. Fuck. I then jumped out of my seat and grabbed a deckchair from the utility cupboard. I set it up outside, took a can from my car, cracked it open like the perfect egg on a Sunday fry up and then lay down. Waiting. Waiting.

@Paratus @HairyGrenade @Budbringer Any ideas guys? -
It's a new day. The sun rises majestically over the golden skies, its orange beauty warming the skin and hearts of all those around it. It's 8:30, time to go to work. I arrive to the dirt track in my prized possession, a Ford GT which I bought with many hard years of work in the force. I retired two years ago now, and my life has gone downhill somewhat because now it is my job to run a damn racetrack and dirt track for amateurs to come and crash around. I put my key into the console, hear it click and press the green button. A somewhat satisfying whirring sound accompanies the opening of the gates, and I sit in my seat behind the barrier, waiting for the first cars to arrive. All day I will be pressing a fucking button and accepting dollars off three different types of people, young arseholes with too much money to burn, who will almost definitely have a girl by their side. Then we have the middle aged, those who have cashed out on something special as a sort of treat for making it this far in life with some success. Then we have the boy racers. Fuck the boy racers. I can't ever seem to stop them coming in even if I try, they don't pay and don't leave after closing times. I thought things will be different now as I looked down at my .45 magnum, newly purchased plus all my years of training in the force. I keep it in a small box under my desk in my cabin, best to be on the safe side in case the stewards come knocking. Just as i went to get a cup of coffee, I hear the unmistakable hum of a powerful engine pull up to the barrier. Wow, they are coming earlier than ever I thought to myself, and picked up the pace walking back. A girl dressed in all black was sat at the seat, which wasn't my usual customer I must admit. I went up to the window which was already open and said "Morning" as melodramatic and superficial a quote as ever. After being told she wanted the dirt track I took her payment and opened the barrier. "You have one hour" I said, "This track gets very busy, especially on weekend days" "If I see you driving after an hour, you'll make my job stressful because I will then have to come and get you myself. And when I get stressed, I get pissed off easy so i advise you to not." "Have a nice day!" I waved her off half enthusiastically and turned my head back towards the sun and leaned against my cabin on the outside.

character profile Mia Smyrnoi - Character Profile
Kickapoo replied to Mia_Smyrnoi's topic in The Pub
You'd probs be best putting this on immigration tbh, it doesn't matter so much if it's an RP character or not. Question tho in RL are you actually female or you baiting as a dude? -
New people will ask yes, and once they have their answer....we don't know, the devs are working on it, be patient then they will either A. Stop commenting on the forums completely as they lost interest, B. Keep up the hope and contribute to the forums, or C. Be like you, a whinging child who can't seem to just drop the subject. We get it, you're mad about the lack of updates, but nobody cares that you are so start being like B more and harmony can be restored. I don't come on these forums everyday to hear you moan Lion.

Dude think you've missed a page out Don't worry I've done that in the past too

@JamesLuck01 Tell me if you agree with me here. Unless a high majority of people on the game are gay then this isn't gonna fucking work is it! There will be so many more male players on this, and if the Identity devs spend time adding marriage to the game then it will be a total waste because of that! But kick! If it's in a game and two men marry then it won't make them gay in real life right? Yes, but getting close to any serious roleplay they will want their character to be a reflection of themselves I.E probably not a bati boi! But kick! Guys will roleplay as girls too! True, but again there will be more males, some partly to the fact that I said before, a true reflection of themselves and also because guys playing as girls will likely be hated as they are nothing but massive bait for the 12 year old squeakers who can't control their hormones and want to go up to her....him and ask them for some chat box sex. This would only work if the gender split was more equal in my opinion, but I think like most games it'll be something like 90% plus males to 10% minus females. -
You are right but I will be honest a lot of the admins are just people who played on their Arma 3 server, so will be as clueless about it as we are.
-
We can take an educated guess actually, based on requirements for past games and just taking into consideration the scale of the game and things such as poor optimisation. It's not gonna be so wildly different to our predictions is it? The devs would have to try and make the requirements modest anyway, to appeal to a much larger portion of the PC gaming spectrum.
-
Honestly LionKing, if you're gonna keep whinging then just leave the forums. You complaining about it constantly won't speed things up, and if anything yours and everyone elses moaning is bogging our forums down with misery when there should be nothing but discussion and excitement for the game. The old forums were a LOT better because the people on them made interesting posts, ideas and used their imagination to make it a community worth staying in. And let me tell you now you and the rest are fucking killing these forums. If you ever lose hope in this game that is fine, it's just pointless telling us about it so the best thing you can do is leave the forums, try and forget identity ever existed and move on with your life.
-
Amen.
-
Yup I meant to say JamesWoods anyway not JamesLuck so yeh
-
Just gonna leave another here, for those with lack of patience
-
Just gonna keep sticking this here when people complain about how long it is taking
-
@ChillBilly I'm not an Arma 3 aficionado never played it
-
Is there even gonna be big sea transports in this game? I don't think there will.
-
Dude you've quoted your motherboard?
-
I never said you shouldn't support the developers I backed the project too just not back them with that absurd amount of money, I think it could be better spent elsewhere
-
It's not about donating money to them its about buying the $250 starter pack mate
