Glock 17 Pistol?
LightBringer replied to Debeezep's question in Tourism (Q&A)
I don't know exactly what variant of the glock will be in game, but there is one already modeled actually! -
Can you play the Town Square with the CITIZEN Pass?
LightBringer replied to AliSGE2000's topic in The Town Square
The citizen pass only grants backers the full game after release. You must purchase the founders pack to be able to access all early builds of the game.- 1 reply

@paratus The game will run on Macs ir only on PCs ?
LightBringer replied to Morte66645's topic in The Town Square
It’ll be something they look into after release if I remember right. The devs are fairly confident that a Mac version will be coming but there’s always a possibility that it won’t be as simple as that. -
Steering Wheel Support?
LightBringer replied to LIM1T_'s question in Tourism (Q&A)
Should have support for that wheel I think. I know for sure that thrustmasters will work. I think it mostly all depends on what Unreal Engine supports rather than the game in specific. I think it’d work. Also, just to comment on the statement about realism. They certainly want to go for what will look and feel realistic, but one thing I’d like to add into that, on the topic of steering wheels, is that steering will not be like it is IRL. It’ll be more like GTA V where you steer the wheel partially rather than in full rotations like ETS does. -
Pretty sure this would never work or ever be allowed... money isn’t necessarily going to be hard for everyone to get. There will be big time CEO players in-game ranking in the big bucks because it’s the role they fill

Pretty sure that’s what’s going on actually. I think Dodge is parodied as Doge and there was one other I forgot...

Not so sure what makes a Tesla Semi different from any other ol' semi truck, but I can tell you that semi trucks will be a thing in the game!

When will the new website be launched?

Sometime early 2018 -
Transfering Musescore files into ingame sheet music
LightBringer replied to Ayyy99's topic in Ideas & Suggestions
They've shown interest in saving songs as MIDI files to use later, or to import them yourself to the game, but it's not a feature being heavily worked on. More of a secondary task to complete if they choose to add it -
question Question: If I die in the game what happens then???
LightBringer replied to yakir77's question in Tourism (Q&A)
You will lose majority of your items on-hand such as physical cash, drugs, any weapon, etc. Things like clothing, phone, ID will all stay with you though. -
There won’t be anything along the lines of welfare or benefits

General questions
LightBringer replied to ANOKATA's question in Tourism (Q&A)
1) Yes you can go fishing 2) No IRS type of company 3) You can hold guns in your house for storage. Not sure about basements I’m homes though 4) No 5) Sadly no, it’s just too extensive of a task in adding aswell as a potential drop in performance -
If we have the rusty car will we be able to drive?
LightBringer replied to TOPDOWG's topic in The Town Square
Not in the Town Square Module, But it’s planned to be added inside of your garage at some point during either Module 1 or 2 where you’ll be allowed to look inside if it and interact with all its buttons. However, you won’t be able to drive any vehicles until Module 3 release.- 1 reply

Weapon Inventory
LightBringer replied to Villasenor's question in Tourism (Q&A)
You won't need to purchase a holster or anything. Most rifles will be slung over your back with either a holster or strap while handguns will have a hip holster -
SWAT Question
LightBringer replied to Villasenor's question in Tourism (Q&A)
Flash Bangs are still being considered, but if added they certainly will be equipment for SWAT. This also applies to shields. What'll determine their addition is just how balanced combat will be. -
Sadly, that map posted above is very much out of date. The current geometry and layout of Identity's world has changed vastly beyond that conceptual map. However, Identity's world will be based on the Carolina states in the United States. Ash Hill represents something similar to Beverly Hills. More wealthy and a lot cleaner. Turtle Beach represents Myrtle Beach. and Roseport represents a mixture of places like New York which will be much more compact and run down, a slum of sorts. While there are no real good pictures showcasing these locations, quick google searches can help get a general idea of how the cities will look.

Clothing in Identity is really aiming towards pleasing everybody in terms of style and theme. There will be biker apparel, goth clothing, skimpy clothes, casual clothes, suits, and a lot of other things that I am sure will please all the players. I know there will be underwear but I am not 100% sure about pantyhose and tights. They might not appear in the earliest of builds but further down the line it is certainly a possibility.

Inventory
LightBringer replied to Villasenor's question in Tourism (Q&A)
The inventory will be a grid system which will likely call for some neatness on the player's part if they want to be able to utilize the full storage capacity. Very similar to the Deus Ex games. This will be the case for vehicle storage as well. However, the weight of an item will not bring effects on things such as vehicle performance. There won't be extra weight for the car and handling will remain the same regardless of what's inside storage-wise. Things like backpacks will be in the game and will be able to be used as a space for more storage. Example of Deus Ex's grid inventory system: -
Department Funding
LightBringer replied to Villasenor's question in Tourism (Q&A)
From what I recall hearing, those in power (governor, mayor) will be able to adjust tax rates and distribute the money as they choose to places such as the Police Force or even their own pocket. Obviously, decisions like this will reflect on how fit (or unfit) you are for the position and may affect your chances of being re-elected -
Time and mile scale
LightBringer replied to Villasenor's question in Tourism (Q&A)
Well, there are about 3 hours of day and 1 hour of night time in the game. The time in game passes by an estimate of 1 minute every 6 seconds in real life (mathematics!) so.. to drive 60 miles in a minute... It just wouldn't work.
