So a lot has happened over the last day, most of it my fault, but I hope to rectify that by doing this. The current poll Is bring closed and being redone, which is this one. I hope this will allow for an even footing between parties and allow for the most accurate data. I would like to personally apologise to @Xilvius for the way I handled the situation and for the inconvenience I have caused you. I hope this redo will allow for your supporters to accurately give your party votes. This poll will last a week, ending on 11/10/2017 at Noon EST. We are currently planning a couple of events for the parties to engage in, including a debate that we are setting up between parties, more information will be released soon about that.

If you have the chance can you please look through the current political parties of the game and vote for the one you most support. Thank you for your help and we hope to give you the most accurate and reliable political data for all citizens.

The reasoning behind making a discord for the purpose of the debate is to allow us to do certain things we can't do in the official discord, one of those making sure we can ensure order in the debate without everyone speaking at the same time. We also plan on recording the whole debate and transcribing it to the forums, so you have no worries there. We plan on talking to the devs and beach about possibly expanding the IPO into the official discord in the future, but for now we have to use what we have.

We are currently redoing the poll because of issues with the last poll, if you haven't voted yet I kindly ask you to go vote real quick so that we may gain the most accurate data for the polls. Again I thank anyone who participates for helping this out. Just in case you missed it above, here it is again: -
IDENTITY POLITICAL ORGANIZATION DEBATE Good day to you all. Today I just wanted to post about our plans for the debate and how you can see it when the time comes. We are currently working out the structure of the debate, but most likely it will be in the IPO discord through voice chat in the style of a town hall meeting. All debaters will be there ether as themselves or with a representative from the party who will speak for the party. The audience will be able to type up questions in the live debate questions channel where the moderator of the debate can ask the debaters questions that the audience wants to know. NOTE that all questions will have to be approved before asked. The main topics are still being decided, but the structure will most likely be a major topic then audience questions (5-10) More details about what those topics are will be sent out two days before the debate, giving the debaters a short time to figure out their arguments. We currently have 3 out of the 8 slots filled for debaters, I encourage any political party that wants to have a chance to have their voice heard to go to our discord and talk to one of our staff to sign up for the debate. If you haven't already joined the discord link will be at the bottom of this post! PLEASE NOTE: ALL DEBATERS MUST BE ABLE TO DO VOICE CHAT, OR IF THEY CANNOT AS A PARTY LEADER DO SO, HAVE A REPRESENTATIVE WHO WILL NOT BE IN CONTACT WITH THE PARTY LEADER DURING THE DEBATE. MODERATOR WILL NOT READ FOR DEBATERS!! As for the date and time of the debate, these are things that are still being determined, but we will inform you all when we are able to figure out a good time and date for all participants. The time frame for the debate will probably last somewhere from 1 hour to 2. And that's it, we will continue to inform you of more information once we are able to. You can also join the IPO discord to get current information about the debate as it comes out. We hope to all see you at the debate! LINKS: IPO DISCORD: https://discord.gg/3KWCQur

@BrianHamilton @DLimit @MauriceClinton @FrancePourLaVie @Xilvius @Mutant_Pig @Odiggitydog @Jackomac43 Please contact us through the discord so that we may sign you up for the debate. We have limited slots so currently we are doing "first come first serve" https://discord.gg/3KWCQur

We are incredibly proud to be apart of this organization to help organize the political landscape and also keep it active, we can't wait to see what comes of this.

The Unified Party call sign is UFD, sorry about that
-
If you want maybe we can team up together with this project, I can probably get a set of questions for you and a debate schedule to you before your interviews.
-
I was considering holding the debates in the voice chat of discord, that way you can have an audience that can ask the candidates questions directly, like in the style of the town hall debates. Hopefully that can help keep it engaging for everyone involved, but still working out everything including which parties I pair together.

---------------VOTER GUIDELINES--------------- Hello citizens, this is just a quick list of guidelines for the vote that determines which votes are valid, of course the list of reasons a vote could be void is very small, there are still a couple things that can happen to cause a red flag. *****NOTE***** All parties are included in this search, this is in no way to separate a party from the rest by taking votes, all void votes will be shown and given the reasoning and evidence to show why it was void. **************** All voters must have all the following qualifications to be considered a valid vote. Has at least 2 weeks of activity prior to the poll starting. (This is to insure that the account is real and not a duplicate account) The account has to have been created before the poll started. (This is also to insure that the account is real and not made for the vote) No Warning Points. (You must be able to show good moral characteristics by being free of Warning Points on your account) And that's it. Of course in the future the guidelines will probably get more complex, but for now these are all the qualifications a person must meet for their vote to be considered valid. *****NOTE***** If your account was created before the original poll (October 30th,2017) your vote is automatically considered valid in all polls unless you have warning points. **************** We are still getting the debates set up, hopefully we can do it within the next couple of weeks, or maybe even before the current poll (November 2017) ends, but we will have to wait and see how things come together.
