Communism/Socialism/Radicalism - NOT the way. Freedom for All!
Rauxa9 replied to davidohgdf's topic in The Podium
We need like, legit aliens to tell us what to do. they might enslave us, but that might be better than being nuked by ourselves (joking lol). Who knows? Only time can tell what can happen. -

For Jokes: Since humans cant govern ourselves properly, why not have non-human intelligence do it? lol All joking aside, its hard to figure out 9 times out of 10 what is the best and what is not. I have hope though that we will find a good alternative some day. -

Hello it's me again. I keep getting notifications from peoples replies to this topic and it makes me wanna decide if I want to be a part of it or no. That, or go with my own idea for political party that's too unrealistic lol. Again I feel like... there is potential. I'd like some detailed scenarios to better make a decision though, just to see how this all would play out.- 147 replies

Has the team thought about adding body sliders at one point? It would be neat to have that same sort of body diversity that you see in real life in the game and add to the realism, maybe with some limitations in it too cuz i know for sure people will use that system for laughs if you get what i mean

I don't usually do minimalism, but I will if you and other people and it lol. I love detail

I would have to give it some thought, due to it just being me lol. I can be a bit indecisive with things like this, given it has things that could work within the rpg (possibly irl too), but one cannot let go of one fear with any party: potential corruption down the line that overturns some of the major "selling point" policies. Sorry if ive forgotten if it was previously stated in your original post, there's so much for me to remember that I can barely remember at all lol, I'll have to read through it again. If the devs are going for as much realism there can be with a player ran environment then it's a possibility of course this could happen with major consequences provided by the devs for people to use such as unfair treatment and overruling current policies etc. This makes me indecisive: you state good intentions yet how long can you guarantee they will last? if I didnt make any sense, forgive me lol. I also have a hard time talking with people on occasion, especially with things like these. Although I know it's just a game piece for the rpg, the realism factor forces me to take into account what could happen and what could not, assuming the devs will likely allow such acts to take place, and they will (I think). If I were to be involved, id try for a member position if applicable. (PS. I do a lot of fantasy world building and the government you describe in the post somewhat reflects on the government a major race of mine has in this fantasy universe lol. I saw the parallels, and even though the terms are different with describing the type of government, it's almost the same and was one of the reasons why I was interested. That and it seemed neat lol)- 147 replies

Would be nice for businesses to make and create their own assets like furniture, clothing, etc with an easily understandable UI for the soul purpose of taking that off the hands of the devs to do for them (if they would though lol). This may be already coming, I'm not sure, or it may not nor ever come due to it probably being to much. just as a suggestion though.

yeah, I figured it would be too much, thanks for the response

"In conclusion, capitalism is NOT synonymous with democratic ideals" I have said something around the same thing before in some other place: that capitalism doesn't represent democracy like it says it does. What you have here is... compelling to say the least, seems like it would work. I'm not good at politics or whatever so thats the reason behind my guess. You've also detailed communism in another, more understandable light than what it is irl and I appreciate that; its good to always see more than one side of things in order to get a good conclusion. Im all for a government ingame (and irl) where they run the country on behalf of the peoples every whim and whish, and not where it just listens to whoever has the biggest wallet.- 147 replies

Retail/business owner, something like that. Make something good and give it to people. Other than that just a quiet simple life... Or will it be? hmmm lol

So we are allowed to come up with whatever business (realistically) that we choose in this game? Or is it limited to the amount of assets the game already has? Could there be an in-game asset creator that could compensate on the devs having to make specific assets for specific player ran companies? Tutorial included? Owning a business in this game seems like a neat concept, given that theres no real life consequences lol, but id like to know more details about owning one when the game gets to that phase.
