Maybe I will. I have over 1000+ hours on Mafia 2 and Garry's Mod. Before I started playing primarily on PCs, I (probably) had hundreds of hours put into NoCliche's Toy Commander and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six (the original). In my era between Steam Games and Dreamcast/Wii, I put double-digit to hundreds of hours into SWAT 4 and MFS2004:ACOF. I guess I like games with plenty of content, so Identity is bound to be one I'll play into the thousands of hours!

Like I have said numerous times: You did not purchase a product, you made a donation. You should have been aware that this game is in-development by a small team, and that it takes a while. The second you donated, you joined the development wagon. The developers haven't stolen anything. And frankly, accusing them of being a scam because you weren't delivered an item you were not promised is simply childish.

These are very interesting questions, indeed. Yes, you can sell/buy books and you will make/lose in-game currency by doing so. In Town Square, no. They are planning to have this in the final game, however. Yes! You will be able to store them in bookshelves and see then displayed! As of yet, I am unsure if you can physically "hold" them, but I would say you probably can! Nobody has asked about blogs yet. They are planning to include paid journalism, but as of yet this will not happen. Like I said above, you can make money from selling books! In my personal opinion, however, it would be super hard to have a career as a writer, but I'm not sure on that one.

I don't think most will be disappointed, and I do think most will be able to sit through. I have just noticed that when big YouTubers discover games in early development, they either never leave development, or end up mediocrely made in the end. Some examples are Overgrowth (Idubbbz), Enforcer: Police Crime Action (Jacksepticeye), and even Yandere Simulator (Jacksepticeye, Markiplier, PewDiePie, Others). Yandere Simulator is still in-development, I think, but nobody hears about it anymore. It could just be a coincidence, but I think when millions of people see a game in-development (with not a lot of activities right off the bat), people grow tired and bored of it after hearing about it from YouTubers non-stop, and move on, leaving a development team making something that has already been a trend and will more than likely never be one again. I, for one, wouldn't grow tired of Identity. I just hope that this game doesn't blow up before at least the Beta, but hopefully it blows up at final release.

I know, right! Turning off ceiling fans and opening up trunks are some of these off the top of my head. So much thought and care was put into Mafia 2, unlike its "successor".

I want to play the first one, too. "Friends for Life" DLC is a must have mod for Mafia 2, if you can find an edition that's not in Russian. It really makes the game better, giving you access to just about anything in the game, plus the ability to play as just about every character and lots of other stuff. I'm glad to still see the modding community active after eight years. I'm thinking about getting the third one, too, just because it is "canon". If it wasn't for the "Play as Vito" mod for Mafia 3, I wouldn't get it!

Streaming on an iPad and implementing a system where players can pay $10 to watch a live stream in a virtual world are two different things. Like I said, having the "evict" vote would generate so much bullcrap. It could be abused, and people could lose $10. Also, in the full game, the actual amount of people who would pay 10 real dollars to watch a football game in a virtual world that they could watch for way less in real life would be so slim that the time it would take for the developers to create a system like this would not even be worth the effort. It is a cool idea, but the cost in effort would severely outweigh the actual enjoyment this system would generate.

Yes, there will be "marriage", but it will not be super in-depth. The only thing it does is add a title to your in-game social media account, stating that you are married. If you mean a system with loads of detail like family trees, a major marriage system, and other things like that, do not expect that. You can share housing with just about anyone, and you can share your belongings with just about anyone, too.
