People really need to stop comparing identity to GTA, they are NOT the same game style. GTA is Action-Adventure, Identity is an RP SIM

I really think you are reading way to much into this. I didn't see the forum posts that you are talking about but I can imagine that people will react a little differently to RP when they are actually in an RP game and not just on the fourms.

I would imagine that shouldn't be a problem. The devs don't seem to want to force people to do specific things so if you pick to be a cop they won't make it so you are only a cop on that character

From what I understand they are outsourcing some of the work (I believe I saw a tweet saying a good part of the art was outsourced) -
