Subtle. Very subtle

Policies and Laws are constantly being constructed and worked upon. Thank you for your noticement, we have added these new Laws now.
-
As stated under the Laws heading, "Repeated offences will result in doubling of the original punishment". Each time doubling the previous punishment before that. E.g. First Offence: 1 Day Second Offence: 2 Days Third Offence: 4 Days

Being Scottish, you have no idea how happy this suggestion makes me haha

I can see this religious discussion getting very out of hand, very quickly. Anyway, I think it's still important to have it in the game. Why restrict people's rights to roleplay as themselves in another world just because of their religion? I understand there will be conflict but there's already conflict in the real world, this is just a video game. They are allowing same-sex marriage within the game (huge props to the Devs for that <3) so why can't we allow a few simple pieces of religious clothing?

Welcome to the community, @__Ali__ ! I'm Brian, it's great to meet you There are some links in my Signature below which you might find useful. It's just a couple of FAQs and a video Q&A with the Devs but they contain a lot of information if you're interested. As for the pledging, as a personal suggestion; I recommend the "Founder" package or higher as it will allow you to have access to the first 3 modules when they are released and access to the first BETA version when it's released so you can get in and playing (and providing feedback, reporting bugs as well) before full game release. No set release date for BETA or Full release have been set, however, once the Town Square module is completed and they make sure it's all bug-free (or mostly anyway) they will release it to Founders and higher package owners. Anyway, welcome to the community (again), hope you enjoy yourself here

Welcome, Emma! My name's Brian, it's great to meet you There's some links in LuckyDuck's and my Signature below if you're interested. It's just some FAQs and a video Q&A with the Devs but they provide a lot of information which I think you might enjoy. Anyway, welcome to the community!

Yes please and thank you

I think it would be a really cool idea to add indicators (A.K.A "Blinkers") which can be assigned with keys such as "K" for left and "L" for right or something like that. It would really add to the roleplay side of things and if you're getting pulled over by the Police (player police), you could indicate to show that you're pulling over soon and not just driving off.

Is that you volunteering? If so, welcome aboard. I'd be glad to have you as my "pocket EMS"

In my own, personal opinion, whilst I'm not saying that it's not important to include the small things like "finished interiors" (and etc.), I think that if that's all they've done (which, of course is still a lot of hard work, of course) then I don't really think it's worth making a Dev Blog of only that. I think that once they have completed a major part then they should make a Dev Blog in which they can also throw in the little bits that they have also worked on.

I remember the Devs saying in two different Q&A videos that working at a register won't be an official job because it's not fun and that it'd be much more fun to manage the store itself by deciding what to sell and how much to charge for each of them. They also said though that although the register will be occupied by an NPC, you could still help out around the store if you really wanted to, although, I don't think you'll be able to actually work the register and process transactions face-to-face with customers (sorry!) I'm not sure about cleaners and teachers as I also remember them mentioning that "college" will be the only real educational establishment within the game and it'll mainly be used for walking people through the tutorial of the game when they first arrive and nobody wants to actually go to school/college/uni and do work and all that rubbish. However, there will be jobs as a Taxi Driver and a Bus Driver (from what I hear), although Trains will be NPC operated. Hope I was able to help in some way

I agree, but I also think that if you look at it from another perspective; perhaps they haven't made another Dev blog in a while because of how hard they are working on the game itself right now so they are more focused on that. If they have to keep stopping to make Dev Blogs, which, of course are very nice and help keep the community informed, they won't get very far if they keep stopping or slowing down to make them. I definitely agree with you that it'd be good to see another Dev Blog shortly, but with such a tiny Dev Team (in comparison to larger game development companies) it must be difficult to find the time to make them. Please Quote me in any replies regarding my post.

Not too sure about EMS myself, however, as governor, I'll make sure that EMS along with other Emergency Services are the highest paid. So that's something to look forward to if you're interested in becoming a Paramedic. I think the EMS and Fire Brigade will be pretty underrated in comparison to the Police Force. What I'm trying to say is that I think as soon as the game is released, as soon as they progress to the point where jobs in the Emergency Services become available, people will rush straight to become a Police Officer which is a shame because EMS and FD are just as important.

Welcome to the community, @Xzothi! I'm Brian, it's great to meet you There's 3 cool little links in my signature below which I think you could find useful. It's just a couple of FAQs and a video Q&A with the Devs but it contains a lot of info Hope to see you around!

Just wait until the game is actually released. Hamilton Party will overtake Bobby Cruz instantly. Majority of votes on here will fail and some of the candidates in this poll will have a change of ideas and pursue other careers when they start playing.

Will There Be State Troopers, State Police, City Police and Sheriff or just one massive department?

That also sounded incredibly rude. Most, if not all of your replies to him/her/them sounded rude. You can post however you like so long as you remain respectful and polite. I'd also like to make it clear that I am not a Moderator or a Staff Member in any way, however, it's still important to be nice to your fellow community members regardless of whether or not they are a Staff Member. Plus the numerous posts which really could have all been in one, singular post can be a bit spammy.- 21 replies

I'd like to refer to my post edit regarding the pointlessness of refunding and reiterate (if that word is being used in the correct context) that it's not a subscription. You've already paid, meaning, that when the game is ready for release (depending on whatever package you purchased) you'll get access into it when it's ready. But if you're going to refund, then you won't get access unless you purchase again and that seems kind of pointless to refund your money just to re-spend it again. Changes and setbacks will always be a thing for all types of games, especially ones like Identity with such a tiny Dev Team (tiny in comparison to larger game development companies) which you should have been aware of when first purchasing. There's a link in my signature which leads to a video by TheDynasty (3'rd link, you're welcome ) which has a Q&A with the Devs, if you're interested.

Welcome to the community, @Financier, I'm Brian. It's great to meet you! Studying Finance in college would definitely help in Identity if you planned on becoming a Business owner since the game uses a player-driven but realistic economy system so I'm sure you'd enjoy that. There's some links in my signature below if you're interested in checking them out. They link to some FAQs by the Developers and a QnA video

I made an Edit on my above post (before reading your new reply; quoted above). You can visit here for progress on the first module: "Town Square " which, when released, will allow those with the "Founder" package or higher to gain access to the game as BETA Testers. No official release dates are set for BETA or Full release, however, as shown on the page I linked, it's currently at 89% and they have mentioned being very close to releasing it.
