Official and that's one of the reasons why I said above that it would be entirely optional. It would never be mandatory. If people wished to attend, they could for role play sakes. If not, no worries. -
There's going to be the risk of people "running around shouting allah akbar" anyway but hopefully on official servers that can be moderated. I don't see why people of the Muslim, Jewish or other religious community which require certain clothing to be worn, can't roleplay as themselves in a "second life" here on Identity, just because of a few trolls. There's going to be a very few amount of people (but an amount nonetheless) who will **** around with the character customisation and create a troll character (or as troll-like as possible anyway) and act like one so why does it matter about the clothing? As I've already said in my previous post(s), if same-sex marriage is implemented, why can't this be too? LGBTQ+ can be a very controversial topic and has a lot of hate towards it within the gaming community, however it has still been implemented. (Just for the record, I'm LGBTQ+ and supportive in case there was any confusion in this paragraph).

I'm not too sure. Possibly Justin Trudeau since he's so well-known for being so friendly, LGBTQ+ accepting, and generally just a good guy. Or so I hear and from videos I've watched. Although I have to admit, I am also massive fan of Obama. You can check out our policies on our website below or by clicking here. Hopefully you can find some things that you can agree with there

As Governor I'd host optional (not required since obviously not all police would attend) weekly end-of-week Police meetings so that police can discuss how the week has been and meet the new recruits I like the idea of this thread (used up my 10 likes for today ) and think it will be a good way to meet new police officers. -

Will there be voice chat? similar to Gmod?

Voice chat has been Confirmed . Mouth movement implementation has been Confirmed , however, we're not sure when it will actually be added. It has already been shown off in one of the Q&A with the Developers videos in which Motown (Community Manager) is speaking and his mouth moves.- 21 replies

Just to add on to @Genesai post here; there will also be trains which will travel across the map and stop at various train stations where players can enter and interact whilst in the train, however, trains will be AI-driven.

If you bothered to read @Genesai's post above, you'd see that he mentioned how the Devs have said estimated dates in the past and "They've made that mistake in the past, but never will again". Rather than simply complaining about it, just do some research and entertain yourself in the meanwhile with other things and reading up on some things around the community. Plus, the dev blog should tell us quite a lot since it's been a while since the previous one.

Allow me to correct myself: Access to the Town Square is what I actually meant. Once the Town Square module is released, you'll be able to get in, create your character, go to the barbers, etc. and socialise with others who also have the Founder or higher package. However, you won't be able to go anywhere out of the Town Square. I have edited/updated my previous comment.

Hi there. Firstly, please realise that this question gets asked ALL THE TIME so please use the "Search" bar and navigate around the forums to find the answer before posting. This is not a scam website. You can keep up-to-date with the progress by checking out posts at the Dev Blog and by looking around the community. Please find below some useful links which you can visit to find out some more about the game. With such a small Dev Team (in comparison to larger game companies) of course there are going to be a lot of setbacks but it's a lot better than releasing the game with a lot of bugs and when it's not even finished. For anyone who has the "Founder" package or higher, first access will be released when Town Square module is finished which will allow you to create a character, go to the barbers and socialise with others until the game is fully released. I mean, there's always going to be the risk that anything can get out of hand very quickly but that doesn't mean that I still can't comment on it. In a game based around living a second life, in the most realistic way possible, it would only be natural to implement hijabs, kippahs and other religious pieces of clothing. There will of course be laws in place on official servers and I imagine that Identity themselves would work hard to prevent Islamaphobia, racism, etc. But there's still no reason why members of the Muslim, Jewish, Sikh, etc. community can't feel welcome in here just because of what they wear as part of their religion. If they want to be able to roleplay as themselves in another world, they should be able to. The reference to LGBTQIA+ equality and same-sex marriage that I made was in regards to the "isms" and your worry of their being hate and discrimination. Many people are against same-sex marriage and the LGBTQIA+ community (which is very sad and unfortunate) but Identity still allowed same-sex marriage in the game so why can't they add religious clothing into the game just because of the few trolls who might disagree with it? People aren't always going to agree with everything. That was why I brought it up. You're more than welcome to your opinion, of course, and it's good that we can share our thoughts on things like this so that the community as a whole can feel comfortable with the game when it's released, but I'm just sharing my opinion too, so I hope you understand that. I agree, if the Devs were to share their opinion (which I imagine they might in the future) that would also be very helpful, however, I imagine they are working on more important things and will get to the "smaller" details such as specific pieces of clothing in the near future.
