  1. Choosing what you get out of your pledges

Both of you make excellent points, however, I have to agree with @JamesLuck01 , if you got to choose your rewards then it would be very one-sided in terms of vehicles and I really don't like the idea of choosing which house you want with the package because then what's the point in purchasing higher-priced packages if you can get that for a lower priced one, get what I mean? However, what does actually annoy me though is that, whilst Cabbie is $50, Biker is $100 but Biker has more content. What if you wanted all of that content and were willing to pay $100 but hated motorcycles and prefered cars? Yes, of course, as we've said; it'd make it too one-sided, but that does make it quite irritating. However, I reiterate that choosing which house with the package is far too OP. Vote Hamilton
  2. Systems?

Hi, @Diad1721 This question has been asked and answered many times in the past so please be sure to search the community first using the helpful "Search" bars as it will most likely have been asked and answered before, like this time. The Developers have answered that for now, they only plan to release it for PC. They have also said that they won't neglect the idea of porting it to consoles in the future, but they want to focus on the PC version first. Plus, porting to consoles costs a lot of money so that's another major factor. Vote Hamilton .
  3. What will you RP in identity?

Governor and politics. Vote Hamilton .
  4. Will There Be Metros and/or Trains?

Hi, @gwion524, to answer your question; trains will be implemented into the game and will be entirely rideable. These trains will be AI-operated and won't be available for player driving, however, once boarding at one of the many stops the trains will pick up and departure from across the island, you will be able to interact, socialise with others on the train and potentially move around but that's for the future, one thing at a time, y'know? Delivery vehicles will also be implemented. There will be cars, vans and lorries (or "trucks", "trailers", y'get the idea) so robbing these will definitely be a possibility if you're wishing to play the criminal path (however, for legal reasons as I'm running for Governor I have to advise completely against doing that). Trains and deliveries have all been spoken about before in the Q&A videos and other places around the community so please be sure to search for content before making a post since it's most likely been answered before like this time Vote Hamilton.
  5. POLITICAL PEACE

Last time I checked, you don't own the colours red and yellow or any colours. Also, my favourite colours happen to be red and yellow but that's hardly provable. I've got a wide selection of red shirts in my wardrobe if you're interested in seeing them? And I never took your theme at all. Whilst we did look at a variety of other parties policies prior to making our own, we adapted them to be more to what we felt were better suited for the public and we have introduced our own Acts such as the Care4U act which can be found here. You introduce a new topic; "crime" and then you instantly switch topics when I answer; why? EDIT: Just as an additional backup, I've loved the colour Gold (and yellow) for a while now. That's why it's my YouTube channel which I've had for MONTHS and MONTHS now (twice for emphasis) (even if I don't actually post too much haha) and my brand new Twitch Channel with the same name.

CRIME: You can find our laws by clicking the highlighted word which will take you to the Laws section of our website. We are constantly updating these amongst other elements of the site.
  7. My thoughts

Whilst I agree that Dev Blogs help to keep us informed and up-to-date, if they have to keep stopping every month (which is basically 3-4 weeks anyway) then it'll just slow them down. Maybe every second month or third, but every month is far too often. If they have to keep stopping every month to make another blog, there won't be enough done to have wrote about. These things take time Vote Hamilton
  8. Policing

I very highly doubt it. When you go off-duty, you need to go to your locker in the police station so I imagine you'll lose your handcuffs until you go back on-duty again. You could however just dial 911 on your phone and call it in.
  9. Here's a suggestion for the impatient ♥

Exactly. I think a lot of the people whining and complaining all the time about it don't understand just how much time and effort truly goes into coding and programming a game like this. An entire open world (I know they are only doing town square module first, I know), character customisation, REAL movies in cinemas in real time, there is literally so much that needs to be done before a game like this can be released. And, of course, there's going to be those few who, when they get into the Town Square module when it's released (if they have Founder or higher package) who are going to complain not releasing that as a BETA Tester (and/or even just testing out that module) they need to understand that they should be reporting bugs rather than just whining about them. In other words, vote for The Hamilton Party, we're the best party.
  10. Hello

Welcome, @Milamber (yes, I know I'm very, very late to commenting; sorry!) I'm Brian Hamilton, Governor Candidate and Leader of The Hamilton Party. The game has so much to offer, including politics so don't forget to cast your vote for your favourite candidate when the island opens and remember that I'm also running for the position. You can find out more about what our party stands for here . Once again, welcome to the community. Be sure to take a look around and make new friends, learn more about the game and make the wait even harder to wait for
  11. Corruption ?

Our Anti-Corruption Act will permit monthly checks on all officers and Government officials who appear suspicious and will terminate any on-going contracts with those individuals if necessary. Click the highlighted text for more information.
  12. Release DATE????

I've said this more times than I can remember now with almost-to-exactly the same words: "With such a tiny dev team (in comparison to larger game development companies) you can expect fallbacks and delays." Whilst, of course, it's going to irritate anyone to be told "soon" and then later find out that it had to be postponed, I would much rather prefer that they kept working on all of the little details first; fixing as many bugs and issues as they can, making the game as detailed as possible and as best well-designed as can be done. If they need to delay it 100 times or 1000, whilst, again, I'm obviously going to be annoyed, but I'd still be okay with that so long as they do it the way they want it done and so that it's not too buggy or broken for when it is released. Of course, there's still going to be bugs and glitches here and there when it finally is released, but I'd much rather play when the majority of things are smoothed out, wouldn't you agree?
  13. COOL GAME

  14. POLITICAL PEACE

It's not about the "people hav[ing] less". If you view our party's policy on Competitive Payrolls (view here) the people will be earning more than average and enough so that even with a 15% tax rate (or 10%) that they should still be very happy with their wages. Although their wage depends on the job, our policy seeks to pay the worker on how hard they do their job, not necessarily what the job actually is. However, of course, there will be jobs with higher pay than others such as Emergency Services. 10% seems a little low and, to be honest, a little desperate. I think that 15% is fair. It's not too low like 10% but it's not too high. It's pretty average but only just on the lower-side so workers can still be happy with what they are being paid. I think "10" just seemed like an easy number because it's an "even number" and ends in a 0 so perhaps it looks more appealing.
  15. Survive the nights?

I actually backed Survive The Nights a couple of weeks before I found Identity again (I'd seen trailers of both STN and Identity on Facebook a couple of years ago and they re-appeared on my news feed) and chose to back this.
  16. POLITICAL PEACE

Profit will never be our main goal, however, it should definitely be a goal to meet because if we are only just leveling with our budgets or even worse; going into loss or debt, then that's obviously going to be problematic so we should always aim for profit as a goal however, as I just said, it will never be our main goal or prority. Our main priority is to ensure that the public is happy. Whilst, of course, nobody can please everybody, we hope to meet the moral requirements of citizens to keep the general morale high at all times.
  17. COOL GAME

Just to back up how detailed the game is going to be, there's going to be a lot of political discussions and your right to vote for who you want as Governor of the island. Regarding this, please feel free to visit our website here to learn more about our party and what we stand for.
  18. POLITICAL PEACE

I'm aware of the difference between a paycheck (paycheque) and profit, however, my point is that the profit made should not be wasted and should be recycled by putting it back into funding the Emergency Services and increasing the budgets for government projects whilst also being used to pay government employees. You can visit our Policies for more information regarding the "General Economy" and the "Emergency Services" amongst other important and notable policies and Acts that we'll put in place.
  19. POLITICAL PEACE

You are perfectly correct; the government is not a business, however, it is still a job and jobs pay. Even politicians need to get paid and make money to make a living. Now, as for the taxing rate, I stated in my previous post: ... that it needs to be balanced between "not too high" but also "not too low ". Think of what the taxed money could go into and fund. The potential for government projects to help the island and the citizens not to mention the Emergency Services who will be working day and night to protect the island and save lives. Now, I know that tax is a very controversial topic and nobody necessarily "likes" tax, but it is important to have and I feel that 10% and 15% are not necessarily unreasonable considering all of the jobs and projects which will need funding. Compare those rates to places elsewhere in the United States and I think this is actually quite generous.
  20. POLITICAL PEACE

Whilst I somewhat agree that the tax rate may be too early to be determined, I disagree with the following statement regarding profit. Being the Governor and running a political party is a job too so of course we need to make profit and any smart politician would agree. The tax needs to be set low enough so it's not taking too much of people's hard earned money but high enough so that we can use that taxed money to fund important government organisations and, of course, the Emergency Services.
  21. POLITICAL PEACE

Our Tax Rate is set at 15% (as can be seen via our website) I was simply saying that we "would" choose to agree upon a 10% tax rate (with the right agreements and conditions) but not that we necessarily will. As for mentioning, of course you're under no obligation to have to mention our party or myself, however, having mentioned all-to-most of the other major political candidates it would appear you're simply trying to avoid any mention of us as it could lead to more votes for us. Can't say I blame you. Best of luck with the elections when the island opens.
  22. POLITICAL PEACE

Was a bit saddened to not have been mentioned, however, I completely understand as I am a newcomer to the "political arena" (as you describe it). The Hamilton Party would choose to have tax set at 10% and are in agreement with this policy and would go into funding the Emergency Services and Government Officials.
  23. Eye patch

I'm sure it will at some point, however, it most likely won't be released at the start as it's not exactly the highest priority. In other words; probably, just not right now.
  24. Core Transport Corporation

As Governor, I'd make sure you'd lose your job for Police Abuse of Power if you pulled over a bus-load of people only to find that the entire bus and company was innocent. Also your threatening behaviour; saying that the police will go after them, that's not how a good law enforcement officer should act. @Air , will you have private coaches available for hire? What I mean is, should my campaign team and I wish to travel to a press conference on the other side of the island, will you be able to provide a coach and a driver available for our transport? Also, as an affiliate to our party, if not affiliated with any other parties, we can work out a business deal and partnership. If you're interested, please send me a message at your nearest convenience.
