This thread is very helpful for keeping a very rough track of who is currently leading even though it is not official. It's still very useful to compare the size of current support between each parties. Also, @URSAMAJOR03, I believe it was you who said... That seems to have changed.

Great to see that, although under a different party name, you're still running in the political race. I hope to see some of your policies and other information soon

Attacking People For What They Want to Do In Identity
BrianHamilton replied to MntnChicken's topic in The Town Square
You're exactly right, @MntnChicken and thank you for making this post; it definitely needed to be said. Good job mate. -
@LuckyDuck Sorry for the tag I just feel like this thread has gotten far too off-topic and "controversial" (for lack of a better word). Didn't want to report the post itself since there's no rule broken with it, just arguing within the comments.

You're only 14+!? I've seen you around the community and I have to say that you ARE VERY mature and responsible. I never would have guessed that you were that young. Keep being respectful, mature and helpful as you already are doing such an amazing job at, keep it up dude

Thanks for the mention, @MntnChicken! Excellent list and it's great of you to make this to help out the newcomers.

Hey there! Welcome to the Identity Community, it’s great to have you here. I’m Brian, nice to meet you Here’s some links to help you get started. Below, you can find some FAQs and other cool information which you might like: FAQ (by Motown) FAQ Extended (by JamesLuck01) Reddit Q&A Q&A Podcast w/ Devs (by TheDynasty) Q&A Podcast w/ Devs (by PowerGaming7) There’s lots to do in Identity, so whatever path you choose to follow, I hope that you enjoy it. You should also be sure to get into some of the political stuff from time to time and vote for your favourite candidate (once the game is released). Once again, welcome!

You're not able to see entirely, it will still be very challenging with a lot of fabric of the bag/blindfold blocking you, but you can only see through little bits of the netting/fabric but only just very barely. We're only going to go back and forth here unless you start trying to see things from my point of view and what I'm trying to go for here. If your screen is pitch black. Absolutely NOTHING in-sight. Literally just blackness. An entire, full, black screen. Only black. Not even little shades or slight very few bits of sight, just blackness. Only blackness (I'm repeating so much on purpose), it would be impossible to see where you're going. You might be running at a wall for 10 minutes and not even know it, meanwhile the captor is just standing their watching you and laughing so yes, yes it would be impossible. This is not "Second Life" or "Ark". If your hands are bound, like they would be more than 75% of the time when you got kidnapped (since most kidnappers wouldn't be stupid enough to forget to bind the hostage's hands) then there's no way you could take your blindfold off unless you found someone else who took it off for you.
-
You like to start fights, @MrChaBoi, don't you? I'm not getting back into this with you.
-
Respect to you dude. Respect.

I'm not going to get involved in your other discussion about guns or camera view but please tell me you're kidding with "complete blindness". No, that would be FAR too OP. Wayyyyy too much. I can't express enough how bad that would be and I agree with @Genesai's statement here: It gives the hostage a fair chance to escape but still makes it a challenge for them since not only do they need to see through bits of the bag/blindfold fabric but they need to do it without being seen by the captor. Not to mention that you would be much slower. If you were to add COMPLETE BLINDNESS to all of that then it would be IMPOSSIBLE to escape. Absolutely NO CHANCE. At all. NONE. That's far too OP and completely unfair. You need to give them a chance but still make it difficult. Plus, it wouldn't be fun at all to just stare at a black screen listening to footsteps in the ground as you walk. Who wants to be sitting there watching a black screen waiting for them to do something? At least with my way, if a troll (not someone who legitimately wants to play as a criminal, just someone doing it for your reaction and for fun) were to kidnap you, you'd have a chance to escape rather than being stuck in the middle of nowhere with them indefinitely with no chance of escape.

Controversial topics not allowed in-game?
BrianHamilton replied to Dilsea's question in Tourism (Q&A)
It's not about having an LGBTQ+ group. My response was in regards to discrimination and that what you do on your own server is up to you, but it will most likely be permitted on all official servers as the Developers wouldn't want to get bad publicity for it. I stand by my original statement of "such a stupid question". Obviously, your own servers will be moderated and managed by yourself and anyone else you have permitted and if you think about it smartly then, of course, the Devs wouldn't want to risk getting bad publicity for allowing discrimination. Overall, it depends on the Governor of the server's policies and laws that they have set in place, however, on official servers, I imagine (as there's no way to know until the game officially releases) that discrimination and purposely insulting others wouldn't be allowed as an unchangeable default. -
I know you said that you're "Not trying to be another one of those people" but it's kind of coming across that way. I know it can be frustrating to have to wait a while, but I'm certain that it will be worth it. They've now raised, at the time of this post; $763,150 with over 18,200 citizens which is an INCREDIBLE amount. They won't let us all down, especially with such a large amount raised and with the amount they must be raising each day. Plus, as @xLambx (love the gif) above says; they're literally just moving into a larger building soon which will take up some time BUT it also means that they'll be able to work more efficiently and collaboratively now which is a huge bonus. Don't worry dude, it'll be so worth it. If you've bought Founder or higher, you'll be able to play on the Town Square module once it's released and although there's no set date, if you see Town Square Module, you'll see that it says 89% so they are close! I'm expecting by the end of the year

theroyalfamily Mr. Lucious Times For Governor ( The Royal Family Party )
BrianHamilton replied to LuciousTimes's topic in The Podium
I know that you're not the party. I know the difference between the party and the leader of it. I'm simply regarding the policies and views of your party and saying that if people who were against your policies and views were within your "support" then you'd much rather remove them and have real supporters who do believe in the same things you do. In a hypothetical sense.- 817 replies

theroyalfamily Mr. Lucious Times For Governor ( The Royal Family Party )
BrianHamilton replied to LuciousTimes's topic in The Podium
One last point I'd like to make then I'll end my position within this specific conversation; If there is anyone who is against the LGBTQ+ community then I know for sure that I wouldn't want them in my party's support even if it meant losing the election. Whilst it would be very upsetting to lose, it would be better than having "false supporters" who supposedly "support" me and my party, yet go against our policies. I'm sure this would be the same with The Royal Family Party.- 817 replies

theroyalfamily Mr. Lucious Times For Governor ( The Royal Family Party )
BrianHamilton replied to LuciousTimes's topic in The Podium
Respectfully, anyone can run for Governor and although @LuciousTimes is one of my biggest, if not the biggest opponent of mine in this political race, if they are a furry or simply enjoy the roleplay, then it shouldn't have any sort of negative impact on their campaign. I'm biromantic, demiromantic and Asexual which, in other words, mean that I'm LGBTQ+. That could very easily hurt my "brand" if there were any homophobic or anti-LGBTQ people in the community, however, it doesn't change who I am or how I act so why should Lucious? It's also worth pointing out that, according to the Updated List of Candidates Poll, Lucious and his party are leading by A LOT, in comparison to other candidates' votes. Yes, I know that this is not the official voting system but it gives you a pretty good idea of how his campaign is doing so far. It doesn't seem like him being a furry or his enjoyment of roleplay has had any sort of negative effect. I'm really NOT trying to argue, just wanted to say that it shouldn't matter. The only things that matters in this race are your policies, what you stand for and how much you care about the community and the citizens within.- 817 replies
