Hell, I'd play there. Now that's hardcore. Edit: Oh, so I see you have plans for an Identity server. I'm intrigued.

It would be interesting if a good role play community with a functioning player ran Government had a properly managed radio station spouting off propaganda and such to its Citizens.

Me.. I'll play some classics and talk conspiracies. Spirit in the Sky anyone?

A lot of people know me as Hill, simple as that; Though my real name's Mike Barrow. I'm a conspiracy theorist, I consider it a way of life.. Anything's possible man! You just gotta keep an open mind is all, keep an open mind, open to experiences. I see a lot of beauty.. the tree's, the people, animals the universe and the choices that are made. Freedom, it's chaotic isn't it? Behind every set of eye's is a story to be had, a story to be told; Just beautiful. What's the meaning of life? Perhaps it's the choices we make? Our love and compassion? Instinctive primal aggression? Or maybe something entirely incomprehensible devised by a being of stunningly unimaginable beauty and intelligence? We're all seeking out our place, something we can be proud of. Often we overlook our boundaries, we strive for something just out of reach but just close enough to touche. We reach for the stars, struggling to find ourselves along the way. I keep to myself, often you can find me roaming the woods, just observing. You can consider me brave, the clowns don't scare me now and neither do you. After all, "Fear is the path to the Dark Side; Fear leads to Anger, Anger leads to Hate, and Hate to Suffering." ~Yoda Spread peace, love, understanding and wisdom, my friends; So tell me, who are you?

What disappoints me is a lot of people prefer an arcade style of gameplay.. or because they know there are no real consequences and everyone has their standards set low they think it's okay to just fly down highways, through intersections or whatever recklessly and carelessly. I hope there will be real hardcore RP servers out there, a server with standards, a reputation to uphold. Like getting into a good college, not that cracktown free shit who wouldn't give a rats ass if you killed yourself. I've been to ArmA RP servers that have been around for a while. People have tested their boundaries, pushed the limit. Eventually someone finds the line, then what? People take advantage. If we want a community that cares, we need staff that care. Some of the most important things a staff member can have is compassion, dedication, ambition. I've been a part of new roleplay servers, fresh out of the oven. In the beginning the staff are compassionate about the community, they show dedication and have the ambition to try and uphold the communities reputation and standard for roleplay. I've stood and watched, I would observe the way people performed and roleplayed. At first, people try, reluctant to break character, break immersion, bait, to disvalue life. The RP's good for a while.. eventually people find the line, then more follow. Staff become upset regarding people's standards in RP, they think "If you can't beat them, join them." then who becomes a part of the problem? The compassion they once had.. gone, flickered away like a cold winter breeze. All that remains are the ashes of what used to be a community that desired for quality.. roleplay.. a world to escape to, but not like anything you've witnessed before.. something to respect and lose yourself in, a place you could be graceful to be a part of. Thoughts?

My character Hill was inspired by Rusty Shackleford (AKA Dale Gribble) and a few other characters and I would like to see styles and/or character models based off of these characters: << Dale Gribble from King of the Hill << Ron from GTA V << Guy from the movie 2012 << For the love of God, please add the El Camino! This would be my baby. Peace out!

If people are here for "light" RP, they might as well go play some GTA. I came here for HARDCORE roleplay and HARDCORE roleplay only, I take my RP seriously which is what I like about it. Maybe it's too serious for some people to risk a few hours jail time if they rob a bank, but for me it's fun as hell and really lets you explore all these paths in life you may not be able to realistically ever accomplish. By the way, I'm not hating on people who want a small touche of RP in their day to day gaming, I honestly hope everyone finds a server right for them be it light, HARDCORE, mini-games or anything in between. I do have plans on starting a community dedicated to HARDCORE roleplay, I do have quite a bit of management experience so who knows where it'll go. For all I know I may end up playing somewhere else if this "somewhere else" turns out to be the type of community I am looking for and really do enjoy. If you've played ArmA 3 Life then I would betcha communities like CGL and Life Studios would do a HARDCORE Identity Server.

Hey, man! I'm Hill, living off the land in my trusty van since as long as I can remember. I dropped out of high school to cruise the streets in which the universe takes me. You can normally find me out in the woods during the nights staring out into the stars looking for signs of extraterrestrials, maybe even hosting a radio show discussing conspiracies and other hubba jubba. Don't worry though, I'm not crazy or anything. I don't wear tinfoil on my head or anything, but I do love my trusty boonie hat! I'm a friendly guy, usually I'm up for anything. If you're a hitchhiker, then I'm the guy you need to call. I'm vegan, I don't believe in eating meat. I believe all life is precious, I believe even the darkest of souls have the power to change for the better and always give second chances. Don't underestimate me, though. I won't hesitate to do what I have to if it comes to it. I'm not the luckiest soul alive either, but I have my moments in the spotlight. That's just the jist about myself, I don't want to throw my entire boring life story on you just yet or anything, we have all the time in the world! You're probably gone by now anyway, but if you're not then much love brother. <3 I'd love to know more about you too, man. Hill, Signing Off..

Hello, I would like to suggest there be 1 type of joinable player slot for all instead of when you join you choose a Civilian/LEO/EMS slot and just pop in at the spawn point as a Civ/LEO/EMS/etc. (I don't know if this is already a thing, I am just suggesting it incase it isn't) Basically the idea is you spawn in as any Civilian would, your house, or wherever. If you're a cop as an example, you would go to the place you work and "Sign In". When you sign in, you can get anything you need and put what you don't need at your locker where you work. This way you'll really have that sense of having a job and you can easily go off duty without semi disconnected to switch slots. If you don't work somewhere (aren't whitelisted or whatever) it'll tell you ("You don't work here!") or something along the lines of that. Kind Regards, Hill

Hello, my name is Hill (for now) and I am very excited to be here at Identity RPG to learn more about the game and the community every day. I am a nice, unbiased guy; I don't normally take sides; I tend to be a quiet person, and I love meeting and hanging out with all kinds of people! I have enjoyed role-play for all my life, I really got into hardcore RP when I started playing ArmA 3 and found role-playing communities. Eventually, after being RDMed, trolled, and in general annoyed with all the 11 year olds running around like it's GTA or COD I found and dedicated a lot of my nerdy free time to whitelisted hardore role-play. I met a lot of great people, had some very good times. I really hope Identity can truly bring to life what these communities couldn't due to limitations with Developer's and/or ArmA itself. My real name's Michael Hill. I am 17 years old and live in North Carolina near the coast. I enjoy all types of games, music, movies, shows, sports, and learning new things; In short I love pretty much everything in life! I rarely ever judge people without a good reason. I've been homeschooled since 2011 due to my anger issues in school. There's so much to know, can't wait to hangout with all you amazing people in-game.

I like the idea of purchasing very low end places and then have the option to eventually purchase very high end places as you work your way up, or even run an empire/business out of it. It also adds to the character building, you can be the scum of the earth or a fancy businessman.
-
If it's a license then when used there's a chance it'll fail (like using a cheap counterfeit card to purchase a weapon), if it's discovered "counterfeit" the police would immediately be notified of the situation by the NPC and your card would be cut up. That's my idea of it at least.

You seem to be more interested in the arcade side of things when a lot of people are here for hardcore role-play, obviously fighting a real person compared to AI will likely be more difficult because you're dealing with an actual person. I am sure there will be unofficial servers that's focused more on arcade style gameplay so I believe you can find the server that suits the kind of gameplay you're looking for.

The thing about dispatchers is you have to have people who are willing to sit there and handle dispatch calls, not everyone will be up for the job.

If time is 45 minutes max: Jailbreaks would almost never be possible with such a short amount of time. It often takes 30+ minutes just to prepare a strategy, gear up, and gather the appropriate intel assuming there are no delays and you're not rushing into things (this is from experience on ArmA 3 Life). This gives us very little time to enjoy the full prison experience, some people want to take it all in not blow through it all and chow down faster than a speeding bullet.. Enjoy your experience. If time is above 45 minutes (3 hour max jail sentence): This makes not getting caught much more thrilling in my opinion, sure a lot of people are like "but then if I do a crime I have to sit in jail and do nothing for hours!" but you do realize that's only if you get caught? Also I imagine you have to do a hell of a lot of crimes to receive a maximum jail sentence. I, personally someone who's more interested in hardcore role-play rather than an arcady GTA experience would prefer a longer jail sentence just for the sake of role-play. I want to be part of the whole role-playing experience, I don't want to run around the streets and just commit constant crime after crime not carring about that 45 minute maximum jail sentence. If you're a real criminal and know what you're doing, you shouldn't get caught. Honestly.. I imagine the official servers want something for everyone so I imagine there will be versions of official servers that are more arcady while there are versions that are much more hardcore with longer jail sentences and such; Regardless of that, I imagine there will be plenty more private servers and something for everyone. It won't all be the same, so if you want that chance at a longer jail sentence then trust me there will be servers out there for you just with that in mind focusing on the hardcore aspects of role-play.

The thing is who would receive the call? Would every cop receive this call? Will all cops receive a notification that a call's pending and can open their phone and the first one to accept the call handles the situation reporting it if necessary? Personally, I like Citizens being able to text the cops but it would send as a "Dispatch Request" and texting would be entering the appropriate details in separate boxes then hitting "Send" notifying all cops of the dispatch request.

Release Date
Hill replied to FrankGriffin's question in Tourism (Q&A)
I heard an intended beta release is early 2017, however throughout 2016 playable modules of the game will be released so players can checkout and enjoy small pieces of the game before the full thing explodes in our face. I am very excited! -
Just keep waiting. Just keep waiting. What do you do? You wait.

I would love to read what the devs have been up to regarding Identity development. Though, maybe they're trying to keep quiet so we don't see too much before the game even releases, so we can explore and discover the game as we go encouraging us to play longer. Though, that's just a theory.

It would be nice if we could setup a camp, lay out staring at the stars, listening to the wilderness or even talking to friends and/or listening to music.

What will you guys look forward to most in Identity?
Hill replied to BigMike's topic in Ideas & Suggestions
I'm looking forward to so many things.. Here's a short list of some of the things I hope I can do: Explore the map. Becoming a Sheriff (or LEO in general). Buying and living in an RV out in the woods. Hunting & Fishing. Getting air training and buying my own personal helicopter (if possible). Getting into the moonshining business (if possible).
