1 group is all that is needed in a certain part of the town, eg, east city would have one group, west another, north another and south another. Then in the smaller towns there would be no need for this.

I just want 1 group of 4 officers to patrol the streets at night, these officers would swap over with other officers, the patrolling should stop at around 4 a.m, however, from 8 a.m to 9 p.m, tourism landmarks will be guarded.

I want citizens to feel safe going out at night! The patrols will be highest during the night.

I am from the South of France and I live in the South of France right now. If I am on the beach, there is military patrolling, if I am on a train, armed police are there too, if I go out for a drink with some friends at night, heavily armed soldiers march around the streets.

It's the norm in Europe now a days, it's not that scary, in fact it makes you feel safer!

Just to clarify on my party, I said that only citizens who have served jail time in a federal prison won't have a right to a firearm. You probably just read what an angry protester said. My proposed law is actually a real law in the USA. It is simply to keep our citizens safe. If you were arrested by a cop but did not get sentenced any jail time, you will be free to purchase and use a firearm.

I believe in my countries decision to ban burqas, it has proven to cut terror attacks in France, so I hope the same happens in Identity.
