Welcome! I think none of us can wait, but we're waiting nevertheless. Just don't spam memes all over the place. This is not that kind of forum. And if you have certain urges about memes, I'd suggest the Off-Topic section.

greed DEVELOP Games to be Games Not A Fucking PR station
Genesai replied to Asupra's topic in Arcade
Just watch Battle Royale http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0266308/ and be done with it. There's plenty of games of the sort. Another more known one would be "The Culling". http://store.steampowered.com/app/437220/The_Culling/ Ok I haven't played that one in over a year, and apparently seeing the reviews it has gone down a LOT since I've last played it. But I'm losing track of initial point. Nothing beats that movie. 8-) -
I'm a patient man. I thought we've established this. So that was the whole point of the joke of my comment. QQ

Well. There's more footage to be found about Dead Matter than Identity. That's a difference.

There will be systems in place which prevent RDM (random death match) in general. Sure you can still be killed at any point (besides being in designated safe zones), it will be rather hard for this to happen. If two people battle it out (the added stress system, or random damage prevention system will know), your suggestion might work. But I doubt it will be implemented. "Max Payne" his matrix moves aren't very realistic. They are fun gameplay assets, but they have no place within Identity however.

Lottery

I'm 31. It's fun to see old threads like this I've never seen before myself resurface.

It is sad to see some of you cannot accept the facts. I made my point clear. All I said is true. I am all for RP, but to RP a bodyguard there need to be actual dangers first. Unless virtual UV rays are a danger, then you might want to keep your client indoors at all times... As I said before, and I'll repeat this one last time: the moment you can actually die or be harmed in Identity, THEN I see it valid to RP as a bodyguard. Even when it won't be a career or job, at least then it's viable to RP it. But before that, it would be just silly.

I was just kidding mate. I do work two jobs. One full time and the other I freelance, so I fill up spare free time I'm willing to miss with some more work. Even with that I find time to play games myself. So I understand.

How is this hijacking or derailing? We're just informing you about the known facts.

Pledge rewards: The blueprints of your apartments.
Genesai replied to Genesai's topic in The Town Square
I was talking about the flats in general. I could've been more clear, I'll admit to that. So basically they will have more floor space. Most likely they'll just be in a different building and are completely different apartments. Not just increased space, but entirely reworked apartments. -

They will be bigger! -
You will be able to customize motorcycles just as you'll be able to customize cars; trucks, etc. Of course I'm sure there will be less options, as there are less options on motorcycles. If by any chance you meant actual bikes, as to the muscle operated ones, then I don't know for sure. But I'm guessing (strongly) that his will be the case as well. Identity has made clear customization is key to the game.

Well you've posted a video of the military going on target practice. So yes. And no, there still won't be military in Identity.

Welcome to the PC master race! Small secret: you can hook your PC up to your TV if you really want. Wait what? Yes I'm for real. I wouldn't play Rocket League (for example) at my pc with keyboard/mouse. If I wasn't able to play it with an Xbox One controller from the couch, I wouldn't play it at all. But I can, at 200+ FPS on a 50" TV.

Even with my track record on Steam I'd have to say: get a job maybe?

No game should ever force people towards first person or third person view. I'd prefer the HUD masking option then in both views. Some people get sick with first person movement, and others with third person. I have no issues with either, but I'm aware some people do. I've talked about this issue before with weapon reloading and ammo count display. It would be great if you could slide out your weapon magazine, and count your bullets, but that would barely work in third person. And forcing people to play first person just for that, wouldn't be nice. Having your ammo count on a HUD would also break away immersion. In this particular case you would just count (or roughly estimate) the shots you've fired and go from there. A similar thing could work for bagging / blindfolding someone. If your view is obscured, but not totally blinded, you'd still have a rough idea which direction you're heading without actually knowing which address you're heading to.

As far as I know there's no official Reddit for Asylum Entertainment or Identity. Then again, why would they? Might as well make a Myspace if you're gonna make a Reddit. And move back to 2005 or something.

I guessed it but was about a day too late to reply to this.

Sad for the people who like my logic otherwise, but I'd have to agree with @MrChaBoi. There won't be any incentive to 'bodyguard' in the TS module. It's a social module, with customization options, nothing more. You'd have to RP the heck out of it to make it work at that phase. Bodyguard in general won't be a job or career to begin with as well. But later on, with the beta or full release you'll at least be able to RP it if someone wants to hire you. But then there would be actual dangers, which won't be there in TS. You cannot be harmed. No cars, no guns, no weapons, and no currency. So what would you get protection from? UV rays hitting your skin? Dust hitting your eyes? The wind blowing your hair in front of your eyes? A painting dropping on your head the art gallery? You'd have to go REALLY far (like to Mars and back) to RP such a thing during the TS module. I'm all for RP, but it would look ridiculous at that point in development to indulge yourself with it. That's imho btw.

Welcome! And good luck with the language barrier!

hello from germany please translate i am speak not englisch
Genesai replied to Nexion's topic in Immigration
Welcome! I'm often surprised how people in Europe don't speak English. I'm European too, and I've self taught myself around the age of 8, before learning it in high school around the age of 12. I'm 31 now. Never knew German and Belgian schools are that different on language skills. Don't get me wrong, I'm not throwing rocks at you. I'm just surprised. -
Welcome. You don't sign up for it, you apply for a job. I know there's a link which Paratus mentioned a few times on the stream in the past. You can see which positions they are still hiring for. So there's no section for this on the forums. It's done off-site. @Paratus and/or @LuckyDuck Can either of you guys help out here? I know I should've saved the link to the recruitment website for just this reason, yet I didn't.
