  1. A color is far from permanent. You'll be able to change your paintjob anyway. So I wish they gave two separate sports cars from the $250 and $500 pledge, which in turn are not available to be bought any other way. Seeing I pledged $250 I'd enjoy being the only one or one of a few people who own that specific car on a server. I realize it won't be like that most likely, but it's my two cents.
  2. My Resume

Usually a resume sums up your previous work experiences. You'll figure that one out soon enough when they ask for your resume in real life, and it'll be blank. You'll see their faces then. I'm just joking here, kinda. I won't be able to offer a job anyway, I'm still fixed on being in law enforcement.
  3. Dispatch

That's the whole point of dispatching, being able to speak to the entire police force, or certain squads. So I'll assume so. I'm not sure how exactly the dispatching board / interface will work. One thing I'm not sure of is if there is separate dispatching for Law Enforcement, EMT, and the Fire Department.
  4. Dispatch

Emergency service dispatching has already been confirmed. But if no player is available or willing to do it, an automated system takes over.
  5. Drift

I'm just gonna make educated guesses here. I believe there won't be a drift system in place, hence a drift key. But if you're skilled enough to get those rear wheels sliding, you'll manage to do it. About the wheelies I'm unsure, but my guess would be there will be a system in place. How else would you be able to keep your bike straight and steady mid-flight after hitting a ramp?
  6. Beach

Yes, but not in so much detail. It will mainly work on themed presets you'll access through some sort of control panel or other interface.
  7. I think I understand what went wrong here. You mean the layout? No, I'm pretty sure you won't be able to move the kitchen into a different room etc. From the pledges I can say there are different classes though. One Bedroom Apartment vs Luxury One Bedroom Apartment for example. (from the pledge page) So it's safe to say there will be a minor difference in between those two, but I'm sure their layout (floor-plan) will be exactly the same.
  8. If you mean the apartments themselves, we know you can customize them. But if you mean the entrance halls, hallways, etc, I'd have no idea. But I'm assuming there will be a lot of variation, but I'm also assuming you'll see a few interior assets return in different towns/cities on the map. When you rent a shop to go onto your own business, you'll be able to select a theme from a menu or control panel.
  9. Spike Strips

I do like the idea of spike strips. And I wouldn't mind having to use skill to deploy them. Careful timing and placement is key. Like this, this is just too much fun. I'm still watching on repeat.
  10. Expand to console?

There hasn't even been talk of releasing Identity on consoles. It may never happen. So asking whether Asylum Ent. could make servers cross-platform, is a bit premature.
  11. Casino's

So basically the same thing I said in my previous reply, before @Alex77 told me I'm wrong. So I'll stick to what I've heard and had confirmed on the Twitch live stream. You will be able to loot bodies, even cops, after their bleed out time ran out and they've actually died. And petty carry-on cash during bleed out. And all that makes sense. Even gameplay wise. Cops shouldn't be exempt from being looted like any other civilian in game.

Yes, easier but still. With the size of your font you're able to fit 7 words in one sentence, opposed to the default format it could easily hold 20+ words. It's just not a nice way of reading a text. I get that wanting to make things more special has some sort of appeal, but for avid readers as myself this is just annoying like hell. I just don't see the point making your text this flamboyant. It's unnecessary and unless you have a bunch of 14 year olds reading this text on AOL/MSN, it serves no purpose, nor has it any appeal. So I'm still not reading it. Which is sad, because your previous post had me intrigued.
  13. Casino's

In one of the streams last week they said you'd be able to loot even a police officers body. If he died, you'd be able to pick up his service weapon. Unless they made a mistake of saying this, that's what was mentioned last week. And I figured that all I said counts on official servers, since unofficial servers will be allowed to have their own rules. But apparently I have to make things more clear next time. No worries, I will.
  14. The weapons are based on their real life counterparts. There however won't be any explosives, so no, you will not be able to blow up a bridge for example.
  15. Identity site

I'm using Commodo Dragon Version 57.0.2987.93 and am having the same thing. So we know it's not on our ends.
  16. I do recognize them. I've been driving for 14 years (15 if you count training) and never had any issue recognizing the difference between a fire truck, ambulance, or police vehicles (or tow truck for that matter), neither on small roads or busy highways. And why is that? Because they are all forced on using the same livery, light bars, bull-bars, etc. per type of service. I have no idea on how old you are, Alex77, unless your username gives your age away. But in my experience split-seconds of quick apprehension of a situation, is key in such moments. I'll react different if an ambulance or firetruck will try to get past me, or if an officer is wanting to pull me over. If certain customizations of police vans make them look like ambulances, and/or the other way around, this will make things confusing at first glace. Hence the real life rules on this too. I know a few officers in real life (in Belgium though), and none have ever customized their cruiser or van. I can't image them even considering it.
  17. Smuggling Crew

Unless the 18+ rule has been entered into a ToS (Terms of Agreement) prior to buying the game, they can't ban players for that reason. I haven't had to sign a ToS prior to pledging here on the website. I may be 31 years of age, but I wasn't informed anywhere I wasn't allowed to play this game if I'd be underage. If those minors used actual money to buy this game, Asylum is no way in their right removing that player. Unless that player for warned of this beforehand. As far as my grasp on legal business goes. Do mind all this counts for official servers. On unofficial servers I can imagine admins and mods being a bit more hard on this, and have the right to ban players from their privately rented servers. For whichever reason they deem fit.

Please. Edit the font down to a read-able size and I'll bother reading your cult's introduction. But not before that. Thanks!
  19. Smuggling Crew

So is GTA V. But don't tell me you haven't ever encountered squeakers left and right in GTA V's online counterpart? There will be minors in any game, always and ever. It's up to you to refuse them from your organisation or not.
  20. Well in big countries they do. Like the U.S.A., they have different vehicles per state. Often different brands even. I could live with the idea that ONLY the commissioner is allowed to choose the lights, livery, etc. But that then has to be the same for every vehicle of that type. So officers themselves shouldn't be allowed to choose. Edit: It could be an ambulance or firetruck? In your rear view mirror 100's of meters behind going at speed, it would be advisable being able to recognize WHICH type of emergency vehicle is approaching you. Having everyone customize their own, will kick this general WORLD-WIDE adapted principle right in the nut-sack.
  21. If you have 20 types of one van, 20 types of one cruiser, etc. It will be hard for civilians to recognize a law enforcement vehicle AT FIRST GLANCE. We're there to serve them, not to make them guess if what is driving towards them is a police cruiser or not. If you cannot understand that, I have no other way of making this clear to you. In real life there are rules concerning this. A cop may not customize his vehicle other than perhaps installing a mediocre cup-holder. Lol. In your case it's more like: What you prefer vs. what makes sense. And I do hope the developers make logical choices according to that.
  22. Police Radio

Well having the choice would be preferable. However, it would be unsafe using it the way you suggest. I'd prefer other officers not mentioning my name like that. I'll be in law enforcement in this game, and I ALSO value my privacy. Civilians shouldn't be hearing what I'm doing, who I'm busy arresting, or even WHERE I am at that moment, because another officer is negligent because he keeps his walkie turned on for everyone to hear the inside-outside of our operations. That's just bad and careless policing in my book. So I change my answer: I wouldn't prefer the choice, I'd prefer it to in-ear for everyone. Careless people who prefer "immersion" over tactics wouldn't break a mission because they like to show off their police radio to random civilians.
  23. Police Radio

It depends. In my country most cops use in-ear pieces so the people wouldn't hear them. Which is great, it protects privacy of victims for one. When raiding a building it would also be in-advisable to have your walkie-talkie on, as it would give away your position. So hence why I'd prefer in-ear pieces. So my point of view is more realistic, especially as more and more forces all over the world are starting to use an in-ear piece by default. For the same smart reasons I just gave you.
  24. Once again: wrong forums to post this in. After 75 posts I'd expect you to know where to post what question/remark. To answer: I highly doubt it. I know they emphasis on deep vehicle customization, but this shouldn't be the case on law enforcement vehicles. They should be uniform. A cruiser is a cruiser and should always look like the same cruiser. Same for police vans, trucks, etc. Civilian players SHOULD always be able to recognize a cop car instantly and without a doubt.
  25. Police Radio

What does this have to do with Tourism Q&A? There are other Forums these questions fit way better. In this case: The Precinct. 1. This is the plan yes, how else will the coordinate? 2. Most likely there will be sound effects yes. 3. As with any radio transmitter it works on a certain frequency (channels). Things won't be different in Identity as far as I can tell. Unsure if nearby players will be able to hear the officers radio. I hope not, as I hope we'll be using an in-ear piece to communicate.
