Will vehicles such as cars be able to deteriorate overtime from lack of care/maintenance to eventually the point where you have a junker in your hands and pretty much have to find a new replacement car? While I believe, if its a feature, it should be a very slow process; it really would be neat to see appear in the game. Economy is suppose to be as accurate as it can be and I can see this greatly effecting the wealth of some players. Another question I wanted to ask is if vehicle repairs will be cheap and easy or more demanding. Say you got into a collision with a street pole and now you have a nasty dent in your vehicle. Will the damage be persistent forever until repaired for a costly amount (especially without insurance) or will it be something cheap like a $100 quick fix. I'm hoping for the more realistic path of the two.

Now that I think of it though, could city destruction fines be issued to players for collisions with items like lamp posts or signs?

It has been said it will be realistic as in if you crash you can't drive if it was really bad. Physics will be comparable to GTA lV not GTA V.

Hi Guys, I would be interested whether we can drive with H-Shifter in Identity?

    What do you think? ;)

Maybe if they add full controller support you can use the gaming wheel with the shift on it.

How Do I Be Come A Police Officer

For public servers you will go through a academy "tutorial" and if there is a open slot you will be able to become a officer!

All police officers will be uniform, the devs want a clear site between the civilians and cops and so the answer is no plain clothes for any cop on duty.

Will there be some type of bounty hunter job?

  5. I would love to see a court system in place and realistic one as well. I know Motown said there will be no bonds but I would love to see it. Also having jobs like judges, councilors, bounty hunters, etc. And having a cooperation type of bondsman. People can loan bonds but people who decide to not show up to court will have a bounty hunter after them.

Well, I finally decided to pledge with a $30.00 donation and I am psyched to see this module when it comes out!! :) I've been following this game since it came into concept and last year decided to finally sign up and keep up to date on things. Can't wait!!

Make sure to join the discord on my signature. You will be able to speak to the devs and community!

So my only question that I didn't see in te FAQ.  Is there a application process to be a officer, SWAT, FBI?  Or is it just pick and choose the department you want to be in?

For private server you will 99% have to. For public servers if there is a slot open for you then you will go through a academy (tutorial) teaching you the basics and then you start off your career! :) There will be no FBI but there will be detective and SWAT. You will probably have to get a certain amount of hours in and a slot to do those on public servers.

I don't believe so. as it is an automated system and if it was added for the blinkers then it would be too much network traffic and so they won't have that option because they would have to have a trigger for every turn. Unfortunately It won't be something but headlights is a ticket reason.

Will that academy or tutorial tell you everything? Like what you can pull someone over for?

Just a thread to see who is planning on becoming an EMT or Paramedic in Identity. I'd like to discuss the dynamics that may be in the game.

I plan to do Law Enforcement like @Genesai but then maybe do business. It all depends and I won't know until I am actually playing.

    Hi everyone,

I've been lurking and watching this game for a long time now and wanted to see if you thought it was worth taking the plunge and backing now.  It doesn't seem like there has been a lot of progress and I'm a little burnt out on failed or delayed crowdfunded games (lost $40 on the mandate, Shroud of the Avatar was a bust, and Star Citizen is taking forever).

I don't want to get burned again.  Do you think I should wait for the Town Square to come out first and see if the game looks good before passing over my hard earned cash?

I believe there will be a showcase video coming soon so just wait for that. It will showcase how things will work like weapons.

    1. Unknown at this point.
    2. Most likely, as the interiors of vehicles are claimed to be entirely functional.
    3. You could mean several things with codes. If you mean on the police radio, then there's no set codes. There's so many variation per state often. On private servers the admins could enforce whatever they want.
    4. I doubt paperwork will be a thing. There will be evidence collection and analyzing for detectives.
    5. No. At least not at the moment of release. There is a distinct difference between "pets" and "wildlife". Wildlife cannot enter housing, and pets cannot leave your housing. They will work on an update somewhere AFTER release so you'll be able to exit your house / apartment with your pet with you. As for K9, they made no promises. But once it's technically possible, I see no reason why not.
    6. Laws will be based on US standards. I don't know if the governor can change speed limits and such.

    By codes I mean't the 10 codes.

    1. 1. Will there be megaphones on vehicles?
    2. 2. Will there be a siren controller or something?
    3. 3. What codes will be used and how will they be used?
    4. 4. How much paperwork will there be?
    5. 5. Will there be k9 units?
    6. 6. What will driving laws be based off? Or chosen by governor?
    7.

If the driving physics is going to be as realistic as people are saying with also the option of manual transmission in certain cars. Will a racing wheel be supported in the game? And will it work properly with forcefeedback, clutch and H shifter?

    Hi All,

A friend and I have just came across this game and are very interested however, I was wondering which package we need to buy to get access tot he first module when it is released, is it the one at $15 (citizen) or the one at $30 (founder)? Also sorry if this has already been asked.

    Thanks,

    Bombie

The founder pack ($30) will grand you access to all modules and the full game!

In addition to #8 yes there shouod be lots of jobs, but everyone realistically is going to want money, lets say job A pays $50 an hour and job B pays $130, everyone is gonna wanna do job B which ruins he point of job A, they should have the pay rates of jobs fluxate to balance all the services required. We will need trucks driver and mailmen but if their are too many, your pay goes down. Unless you are higher ranked in your job, then your salary stays the same

Pay will be based of time and work needed to complete the task. The more work the better the pay.
