I appreciate the steam keys but so what? It's literally nothing, doesn't even show up in your library. Just because we are moving doesn't mean we are going somewhere. I can fully understand why he is still frustrated

if they sent a code via steam but identity were the ones paid then the bank charge backs the person who recived the funds. so if someone called a bank and said I paid for a game and im not getting access I want a refund (even though they donated instead of bought) they would start a claim. and if they investigate and determine that "Hey this guy paid and recived a code for the game but has no access" someone who doesn't know about games which most bankers don't I assume then would side with the claimant. after that the bank pulls it from identitys bank and then theyre bank slaps them with a 35$ chargeback

I feel like that's gonna make it a lot worse. if people get tired of waiting and decide they want a refund and identity says oh no we cant give you a refund because 4 months ago you redeemed your key which still hasn't released the game were sorry. that's gonna tick a lot of people off feeling like that was the only reason they released the codes and then people will just call the banks and make a claim which for each claim the bank charges 35$ normally and some banks offer claims up to 6 months. identity really needs to be careful here

There was a demo and interview scheduled with a Twitch streamer @DasMehdi last Wednesday but issues with a development build of the game caused it to be rescheduled for this week. There were tweets about this, so if you aren't following their Twitter account, you might want to add as another source of updates in addition to these forums.

Well there won't be too many refunds anymore. They added the link your steam option and gave people the keys. What 95% of people don't know is that as soon as you use your key on steam you are no longer eligible for a refund.

I wonder how many refunds they've processed or have been requested.

Not someone with common sense I guess. I guess you're the kind of person that make Nigerian princes happy.

I currently play GTAV - FiveM Transport Tycoon, no RP but fun jobs. Community and staff is pure toxic though so sadly not staying.

The housing thing is what is taking it so long......think about it......everyone who pledged has already purchased apartments and such wouldn't you think if they had to start from scratch scripting and coding out the bugs it would take a very long tedious time doing so

Things do take a long time to happen. I've been around for a long time but I don't feel they're really behind schedule, I was surprised and impressed to see that the keys were going out.

We're getting close! You can now connect your Steam account to your Identity game account and obtain your Identity game Steam key. This key will add Identity to your library so that when Identity is released, you can download it and start playing immediately without having to do anything else. To get your key, login on the main site (NOT THESE FORUMS) at www.IdentityRPG.com. You can then go to the Account tab of your profile where you'll see an option to link your Steam account. You must have BETA ACCESS on your account to claim a key! ATTENTION! You can only attach one steam account to one game account, and it's permanent. Be sure you're logged into your game account which has the items you've purchased before attaching a Steam account! While you won't get Identity in your game library just yet, you will very soon. Handing out the keys like this allows us to reduce load on our servers. We currently have 20,000 keys in the system and we'll be adding more.

Here's a step by step guide to claiming your Steam key in preparation for Town Square! Step 1: Head over to https://www.identityrpg.com/account/view/profile to view your items. You'll need to have the "Beta Access" item in order to gain access to the Modules. Step 2: Click the "Account" tab on the side and navigate to the "Click To Link" button beside the Steam logo. You'll be given a warning that linking your Identity Account with your Steam Account is a one-time procedure. When you're ready to make the link, click the button to proceed. Step 3: You'll be brought to Steam's website. Log in with the Steam Account you wish to associate with your Identity Account here. Step 4: After logging in with your Steam, return back to your profile page on the Identity website. You should now see a Steam key beside the "Steam Product Key" heading. (Clicking the "Linked" button beside the Steam logo will now bring you to your Steam profile.) Step 5: Take your product key and register it using Steam's "Product Activation" feature. You can find this by launching the Steam client, clicking the "Games" dropdown menu button on the top left corner of your screen, and then by selecting the "Activate a Product on Steam..." option. Step 6: You should then be greeted to an "Activation Successful!" screen, stating that "Identity: Town Square" has been associated with your Steam Account. Please note that Town Square won't appear in your Steam Games Library until we finish making the final few adjustments required to release the Module. Once we complete the final task on our Task Tracker, we'll then be able to make the Module visible.

They just released the Steam keys to everyone who has purchased this game. This goes to show how the majority of people who complain about this game never actually stay updated or check what's going on before posting these unnecessary topics.

Just because they show you what the devs look like doesn't mean it is more professional. Some teams prefer not to show who they are so they cannot be found.
