Me. I might not be a ranter, but I am a realist. To be honest, those who blindly praise this game seem to be the ones without a clue as to how development works to the point I physically cringe when I read the replies, but what do I know? I'm only a game developer myself after all. X'D

I don't think it's a scam. I do think a lot of shady things are going on and some very suspicious actions have instilled doubt in my mind as to the legitimacy of this whole project, but I highly doubt they will just up and disappear with the money. At worst, they will release a highly disappointing game that barely works, but even that isn't likely to be honest. I don't think your argument that because they have put so much into this means it's definitely not a scam. Making some assets and some gameplay videos for a over a million dollars is a pretty good deal. Without the 'proof' of the game existing, they wouldn't have raised half the money. I'm not suggesting this is the case, but they could be releasing false proofs to keep sales coming in.

C# was my first object oriented language I moved on after I found out Microsoft is no longer supporting xna. I then went to c++ but did not like the syntax, and then learned java. I love java now!!!! unlike c#/xna i don't have to use mono.. OH, i got a joke for you.... .. bad geek joke i made up... read at your own risk.... What is C ? its combined, but some think console. So what is C2? well its c++ (c=c+1) Ok.. so what is C3? wait i know.. a drunk programmer fell face first on his keyboard and found the #(number 3 key) and called it c#. ____ edit: fixed speling mistackes abuv....^^ <--- yea, wat kond of programor am i, Cont even spel!!

Definitely guilty here... You definitely have patients as a saint, wish i can have your patients, invest my money, wait a few years with out a product and still make a post like this. And yes, I am a developer

I am not showing that i am superior or whatever... people keep asking the same question over and over again while there is a perfectly functional search bar. If people would do some research the forums wouldnt overflow with new topics bearing the exact same question. Regarding the "toxic behavior" if you really think it was considered toxic then go ahead and report my comment, nothing is stopping you... as far as i am concerned i just pointed out you can find your answer way faster by searching for the answer. I did not insult, threaten or do anything of the sort.

There is this thing called a search bar, this question has been asked and answered like ten times already, do search for your answer before asking a question

Crowdfunding, Kick Starter, Early Access, Backer, Founder, Etc. Have a certain expectation level that comes with them if you so chose to engage in the process. Many negative Nancy's here seem to ignore that fact, or simply make up their own expectation level when they themselves feel that progression is slow or communication is lax from the developers and studio. If you so chose to engage in said process, you should really follow the the studio and developer announcements early on, as I did and many of you did. Once you feel comfortable with the proposed product and feel reasonably satisfied with what the vision of the end result is, then and only then should you be reaching in your pocket. For some that's the first day for others that is three years down the road. I followed the prospect of Identity for almost three years before I reached into my pocket or even made forum account for that matter. Either way, if you don't go into this with the attitude and mindset that you just threw your money on red number 7 on the roulette table, then you have set yourself up for disappointment. The fact is, these projects are a gamble and if you chose to partake, You own it, it's all on you.

Yep. They did make promises like that. Sadly, the tracker is a bust anyway........because it's simply too little information to give us a clear picture. Apparently someone had the same concern as me and asked them and they stated they'll be doing more frequent dev blogs soon or something, which I hope is true. (if they include relevant information instead of things like......promising to update the tracker more etc.)

Yes please don't forget they are going to celebrate Christmas/Kwanzaa/Hanukkah, Saint Patrick's day, Easter, All Birthdays, Independence Day, Spring Break, Labor Day, Memorial Day, MLK day, and all other holidays back to back to back and when they return may have extended lunch breaks as well as extended days off......KAPPA

Poorly advocated, If my money is involved into something i will hold you accountable. We talked about this before and it's clear that they have extremely poor communication skills.

    1) dev blogs come monthly, it’s only the 6th 2) There is and hasn’t been a set release date for a few months now 3) With all the streams and the office and more, it’s not like they’re just sitting they’re. They’re working on the game. 4) It is not a scam and nobody is forcing anyone to pledge money for development funding.

There is no need for your comment, why do you need to be so toxic. He asked a question, got an answer, end of thread. You just had to show off how superior you are.
