1 pointHey, I'm new to this community so correct me if I'm wrong when I say that we don't have a state legislative branch (yet). I'm not sure if this is on purpose or not, but it would make sense to have one. This state legislature here would have the responsibilities of making/producing laws, budgeting the state's budget, and approve nominations from the Governor's office. Not only would this make the game a lot more realistic and help with managing the budget, but this would help with parties getting/retaining their majority and help people get their political career started. Plus, like I stated up above, this branch would help with government oversight and transparency. Now, of course making a 200+ legislative branch isn't gonna work, so I propose that we cut the proportions down to a much better fitting size; about 11 representatives and 9 senators. Ergo, we can have about 3 senators per city (equal representation) and about ~3-4 representatives per city (based off of state population). In total, this would allow for a 20-member Congress. Now, rather or not these numbers are too small or to big is the debate. Me, personally? I feel as if these numbers are just about right. We don't want too many seats as elections wouldn't be competitive and we don't want too little seats as it would be really easy for a party to take control of everything: remember, a democracy functions best if all parties are represented. Anyways, this is just my two little cents. I am available to explain more in-depth of how this would happen/work, but I think it would be a really good idea to implement into this community. 1 pointI think I read somewhere that they're having issues with game crashes upon other things. They're looking into it. If it means anything though, you can get your steam key and have it ready for the release of the first module (whenever that is) so that must mean they're close.

You with your founders hat: "I got it at release noob. Look at my hat" Everybody claps and praises you. This is why we all got that hat, and this is what we all shall receive.

1 pointThere's a couple things that tickles me with what you said. Let me explain it to you. More than 50%? I'm really questioning your reasoning behind that exaggerated number. Who bought? Did you mean who pledged? Never say never. Unless you have a very strong argument to prove your point. For now, I see progress, which leads me to believe it will eventually release. I feel like the word "scam" is being overly used. The definition of scam often implies fraudulent acts in order to get money, to trick people in a dishonest way. Whether you think they are fooling us or not is your own opinion, but I don't consider this as a scam. Maybe they have overly used words like soon or imminent, which has led some people to think it is a scam. Or maybe they have put new items in the store that some people think of a cash grab opportunity. I mean is it suspicious? Perhaps, but I don't let all those things alarm me as some other people do. Because of the way the task tracker is made, there's nothing to visually change to represent those updates. I'm sure you've been missing a lot of information, especially if you don't use Discord. Motown shortly said after that the bug with voice connection is fixed. To sum it up, the testing phase is basically finding and fixing undesirable bugs that would leave a game breaking experience. It also implies thoroughly testing each features to see if any other bugs would arise. Some bugs are much more deeper than others and can take more time to pin point the source. I just explained it in more details, but I think the frustration just hit you. Game development in a small team like Asylum will have hurdles. Please tell me why is it such a problem to have a shop? They've always said they wanted to add micro transactions for cosmetic items. And you don't spend money for nothing, you spend money mainly to support the development of this game, and to receive pledge rewards. It might be useless for you, but for a supporter like me, it's a good opportunity to help Asylum out. But anyways. I'm not to the point of finding all of this pathetic, nor will I ask for a refund. Yes I've been upset with certain things, like the crime video and the two delays that happened. Yes they could have shown more updates on the forum instead of posting some messages mostly on the general Discord channel. But I don't let these things put me down.

1 pointThing is nothing is bug free. Fibe years later and GTA 5 still has bugs and a monster budget. Anyone waiting for the perfect game needs to get in touch with reality. Provided the basic mechanics work most of the time, that's really all a player with beta access should be expecting. If we don't run into walls of bugs during beta that alone would be very concerning that the community imposed unrealistic expectations on a WIP. Warframe is still bug ridden and had humble buggy beginnings too. Most games that go the distance strive for getting basics like player movement right and then iron out the rest with hotfixes.

1 pointThere's nothing wrong to work on some assets for module 2. Artists make art stuff, which is already done on Town Square. I mean they can add more but it's stuff that isn't needed for TS to release. That was posted by the Community manager on the 26th of September (2018). Also he mentioned later that the voice connectivity issue is fixed (which was really quick according to timestamps), and that the furniture bug should be fixed relatively soon(tm). And from what I know, there is (or was?) issues with elevators, apartments. The one with chairs apparently is older than I thought, and is a deep bug which will take more time to fix.

1 pointThey frequently have streams of the current game stage and post development updates. I get your frustration and impatience, but it may pay off to dig a little deeper to get the satisfaction that the product you (probably) paid for is working its way towards you.

1 pointI agree. A legislature or other form of the legislative body is necessary in my opinion to keep the political sphere of careers alive. If there is only one elected position (governor) that means all of the other politicians will be unemployed on that server, which would be disappointing.

1 pointActually, I'll be happy either way. I've been playing Star Citizen for almost a year now with more bugs than a Denny's restaurant. I've had many many hours of enjoyment in spite of the bugs. In fact, part of the fun as a tester (and even as a non-tester) has been taking ownership of the game, reporting defects or bugs and then seeing them fixed with the next update and reporting new bugs. I would much much much rather have been doing this for the last year (especially given my $$ investment) than waiting on the "perfect" game to be released. My 2.5 cents worth...

1 pointHere's a step by step guide to claiming your Steam key in preparation for Town Square! Step 1: Head over to https://www.identityrpg.com/account/view/profile to view your items. You'll need to have the "Beta Access" item in order to gain access to the Modules. Step 2: Click the "Account" tab on the side and navigate to the "Click To Link" button beside the Steam logo. You'll be given a warning that linking your Identity Account with your Steam Account is a one-time procedure. When you're ready to make the link, click the button to proceed. Step 3: You'll be brought to Steam's website. Log in with the Steam Account you wish to associate with your Identity Account here. Step 4: After logging in with your Steam, return back to your profile page on the Identity website. You should now see a Steam key beside the "Steam Product Key" heading. (Clicking the "Linked" button beside the Steam logo will now bring you to your Steam profile.) Step 5: Take your product key and register it using Steam's "Product Activation" feature. You can find this by launching the Steam client, clicking the "Games" dropdown menu button on the top left corner of your screen, and then by selecting the "Activate a Product on Steam..." option. Step 6: You should then be greeted to an "Activation Successful!" screen, stating that "Identity: Town Square" has been associated with your Steam Account. Please note that Town Square won't appear in your Steam Games Library until we finish making the final few adjustments required to release the Module. Once we complete the final task on our Task Tracker, we'll then be able to make the Module visible.
