2 pointsHey, I'm new to this community so correct me if I'm wrong when I say that we don't have a state legislative branch (yet). I'm not sure if this is on purpose or not, but it would make sense to have one. This state legislature here would have the responsibilities of making/producing laws, budgeting the state's budget, and approve nominations from the Governor's office. Not only would this make the game a lot more realistic and help with managing the budget, but this would help with parties getting/retaining their majority and help people get their political career started. Plus, like I stated up above, this branch would help with government oversight and transparency. Now, of course making a 200+ legislative branch isn't gonna work, so I propose that we cut the proportions down to a much better fitting size; about 11 representatives and 9 senators. Ergo, we can have about 3 senators per city (equal representation) and about ~3-4 representatives per city (based off of state population). In total, this would allow for a 20-member Congress. Now, rather or not these numbers are too small or to big is the debate. Me, personally? I feel as if these numbers are just about right. We don't want too many seats as elections wouldn't be competitive and we don't want too little seats as it would be really easy for a party to take control of everything: remember, a democracy functions best if all parties are represented. Anyways, this is just my two little cents. I am available to explain more in-depth of how this would happen/work, but I think it would be a really good idea to implement into this community. Thanks, - Kori P.S. Sorry for grammar mistakes in advance if there are some present. I'm not the best with English right now considering that it's 2 AM in the morning.

2 pointsI didn't know until I joined the discord and asked the members, so for those of you who aren't aware, @Beach_Ball has left Asylum. Here is his message. I removed the emoji's ass they are huge on the forums. What are your thoughts on this? I find it concerning but I am curious to hear your thoughts.

2 pointsThere's a difference between finding tiny bugs that can be fixed down the line and having to fix major bugs before release. I'd rather wait because the game and developers aren't going anywhere and let's be honest, severe bugs such as the apartment elevator and such need to be fixed.

1 pointDISCLAIMER: Everything in this post is a concept and will not reflect the finished business plans and features. Welcome to the Velocity Logistics business plan. We are a logistics company that will strive towards building a solid and stable logistics core in a domestic and commercial way. Our aim will be to tackle our clients needs by offering them logistical solutions. The services that we will provide will range from, but are not limited to: ➤ Supply Chain Management ➤ Document Courier Service ➤ Logistical Solutions & Advice ➤ Home & Office Removal Service ➤ Commercial Delivery ➤ Domestic Delivery ➤ Specialty Delivery ➤ Heavy Haulage For more information, see "Future Technology" section of the post. (Video created by @Zebra) At this time as we do not have a feel for the games economy or market. So the financial department has decided not to release pricing until the games release or until more information is released about how the games economical systems may work. Below is the Start-up Cost sheet as of now for Velocity Logistics. These are subject to change due to the variability of costs in game. These are just estimates and does not include a pro forma (projected) profit and loss statement or a pro forma (projected) balance sheet. Those will be added after the economy in-game has been flushed out properly. Anyone looking to invest should contact @MichaelPayne or @VelocityLogistics. - Andrew, Financial Director This vehicle will be used for everyday delivery for both domestic and commercial operations: This vehicle will be used for high-priority & express delivery, again, for both domestic and commercial sectors: For heavy haulage, long distance and larger cargo, the vehicle shown below will be used: For commercial and domestic removal service, including homes and offices, the vehicle below will be used: To ensure that there is no delay in our operations, we have decided to implement our own maintenance division which will include these vehicles shown below: The future technology section is to showcase our ideas for future mods for when mod support is added in Identity. Whether it be vehicle technology or a pseudo global warming mechanic. See below for some of our current ideas. The above images show a custom in-vehicle operating system that allows the driver to log in with their unique credentials provided to access an array of custom features including delivery schedule, navigation maps, important updates from HQ, panic button, SOS breakdown recovery (and more). We would also like to implement a custom "Start/Stop" system, acting as a type of AFK mechanic. So if your vehicle is left unattended or idling for more than 15 seconds, the engine will cut off and then will automatically resume when the accelerator is pressed. This will save fuel and add immersion. Here is the PDA that we plan on using for our drivers when they are delivering goods. Our warehouse will be modern, in a vast and easily accessible area to meet all of our storage and operational needs. Exterior: Interior: This is our high detailed warehouse plan, it was made with full efficiency and productivity in mind. We took numerous hours to plan and assemble the blueprint. See numbered legend for specific details on each room. The office building will be the back-bone of our company, so we want to make sure it's comfortable and stylish for our employees. Exterior: Interior: Here at Velocity Logistics, security is of the up-most importance. So it is vital to us that we keep our customers belongings and logistics safe. To ensure this all employees will have a ID card for access to our warehouses and offices. The plan I have envisioned for Velocity Logistics is a consistent and efficient security procedure which will allow for smooth operations in any situation. Now I know that data protection is a very worry-some topic among businesses, so here at Velocity Logistics, all of our data centers will be kept securely in an isolated room with 24/7 surveillance and if that isn't enough, all electrical devices will have anti intrusion software which changes it's algorithms to match whatever type of cyber attack is happening. As stated above, all the employees will be given a special key card, with higher authority allows access to more places. Our warehouses will be fitted with hidden CCTV with facial recognition. As for our delivery vehicles, they will have GPS tracking integrated inside, as well as alarms. - Jin, Security Director Our uniform will be sleek, modern and comfortable. In addition it will be practical for all our staff. The full list of all our current partners may be viewed on our website here. 1 pointThey never said the dev blogs would stop! They said they would be bringing more insiders in addition to the dev blogs. The next Insider will be about/ on the Prison.

1 pointI agree. A legislature or other form of the legislative body is necessary in my opinion to keep the political sphere of careers alive. If there is only one elected position (governor) that means all of the other politicians will be unemployed on that server, which would be disappointing.

1 pointpatience? ive been here sense 2015. I backed on kickstarter, lost the log in and now backed on here. ive been waiting over 2 years. trust me im not impatient

1 pointThe link to steam is for the Town Square module. That IS to test the game. The game will release after 3 modules and a beta. My personal estimation for full release will be 3+ years.
-
1 pointFrom what i know his contract has ended, and he wanted to take a break, so he didn't sign it till now.
-
1 pointBeachball has left Asylum. Very strange in my opinion considering the "imminent" release of town square
-
1 pointThis is amazing... in June I was saying August release date admittedly as a bit of a troll for how long this is taking... we are almost into October. Hilarious...
-
1 pointI think we all understand your frustration and impatience, but I bet there's a lot more behind the scenes work. Patience my friend.
-
1 pointI agree bugs would induce a not so fun time, but honestly...and its been said many times...At no point will this game be perfect (not to be offensive) but for real...could be years and you'll still find the tiniest of bugs, where do you draw the line?

1 pointActually, I'll be happy either way. I've been playing Star Citizen for almost a year now with more bugs than a Denny's restaurant. I've had many many hours of enjoyment in spite of the bugs. In fact, part of the fun as a tester (and even as a non-tester) has been taking ownership of the game, reporting defects or bugs and then seeing them fixed with the next update and reporting new bugs. I would much much much rather have been doing this for the last year (especially given my $$ investment) than waiting on the "perfect" game to be released. My 2.5 cents worth...

1 pointThe problem that's left over is not something that can be ignored prior to any kind of launch. @LightBringer is spot on.

1 pointWe all wish things could just be finished so that the game is released D: Not a doubt the last task is taking seemingly forever. But it really is someone that can’t be sped up much. It requires the specific apartment mechanics to be build and then revised. Because anything and almost everything will encounter some issue upon first implementation. And even fixing those problems can lead to new issues. I really do want to see the TS module release soon, I think I am speaking for everyone when I say that. But some issues are just way to severe to let slide. When there is potential for the whole server to crash, that needs to be fixed. When some issues arise that heavily limits the usage of game functions, such as apartment customizing, then it is critical to fix before release. I hope to see everything done soon because it is taking long.

1 point1) dev blogs come monthly, it’s only the 6th 2) There is and hasn’t been a set release date for a few months now 3) With all the streams and the office and more, it’s not like they’re just sitting they’re. They’re working on the game. 4) It is not a scam and nobody is forcing anyone to pledge money for development funding.
