2 pointsI would like to start out by saying that i have followed this game for a really long time.... I made an investment on the speed demon package which was $250 usd 1 and a half years ago .....I log into the site which still hasn't released anything in the 1.5 years and yet the speed demon package is only $165 ... WOW glad i can support you in your early stage for you to just bend me over AND SAY _l_ ...... really do think people who supported you should have the benefit of the doubt i think a little more compensation is due....... that's just plain rude i understand if i played for the past year and a half and yea you reduce the price to get more people that's fine but still have never logged into the game just got shafted. GG asylum glad you guys can take the time outta your day to add more shit for people to buy for a game with no production yet before you even get it started.

2 pointsOkay I'll add my grain of salt in here. Just blindly, like that, with game breaking bugs that would literally cause havoc and people complaining about it. Erm nope. Already they've talked about that inventory bug causing the database to crash, that would be catastrophic to be honest. I know they fixed it and working on some wonky elevators. I get it, you want them to take a break, sit back, and think about it for a moment. And what will the developers and artists do in the mean time? One week wasted wouldn't be good when they're working hard to get Town Square fully working. Also, I understand that they have a lot of artist and not so many coders, and it seems like we're overwhelmed with 3D assets. And I'd definitely love it if they can get their hands on some talented programmers, since those are harder to find than 3D artists. I assume you meant forum. Yeah well most of the little updates are on the Discord, it's just easier to ask around there, and the active members will help you out to answer your questions if you have any. And for toxicity, well it's on both the forum and Discord unfortunately. I totally get it, John is very busy and has a lot on his back. Personally, I think he should focus on delegating his tasks, since it really looks like a burden to be not only programming, but assigning tasks, taking care of business stuff, and he can barely even get some time to work on his insider and dev blog. The team needs a little bit more organization to be honest, and for how long does the public ask for transparency... Public relations... Well I mean we get some information from time to time, when Sean pops in the chat, and poor Brandon, being so busy with account support lately he doesn't even have any time to compile his Twitch clips anymore. And that's the reason why there's a tracker. No dates equals no delays for module one. Also they did assume their mistakes, just take the time to read some of the dev blogs. Although, people still ignore and get stuck on some other key words like "imminent", "soon", but you get the point. The problem is that not a lot of people put themselves in John's shoes. He has a ton of stuff to take care of. In the gaming industry, there will be issues arising one after another. Sometimes you can't help it but you're forced to take more time than expected to rework a feature or fix a bug that slipped somewhere. Oh and hey, look what I just found: I hate to say estimates, because it always seems that they take a little bit more time. They guessed Monday, for the insider blog, then postponed it for Tuesday, then Wednesday. And I've read on the Discord that a few days after the insider blog, you should see the dev blog. Here's the YT link that Beach has shared (VOD) https://youtu.be/mlgWENwsri4?t=47m47s They feel bad for taking so long. But don't forget it's the back end of the user interface. And that's one big important system in the game that needs to work. I know that recently they fixed a bug causing the database to crash, as I've already mentioned in reply to someone else. That thing alone slowed down progression considerably. Their current objective is to fix those elevators. Then we can cross our fingers they don't find anything else. I agree with that. But let's see what causes them to be angry. First thing, it takes more time than they expected. Not everyone is very patient unfortunately. Also the delays, no one likes them, even John doesn't like them. Then the lack of awareness, well let me explain that one a little bit. Sometimes I see people jumping in and simply saying that the game is taking years, why is it not out, and blah blah blah. I'm personally guessing they didn't do any research, or that they didn't get implied in the development. And by implied, I mean by actively looking on the forum or on the Discord, reading what the developers and moderators say, in other words, just basically reading all the little updates (without talking about those assets they keep showing off lol). I bet some people haven't heard that the physical layout of Town Square has been rebuilt three times in the past years, and that they remade character models multiple time, and the user interface was also rebuilt (since they used an obsolete software before). But well, of course there's always those guys that... I think are extreme cases, overly dramatic, really angry, speaks their emotions and doesn't think twice about what they say. Nah nah nah, I'll stop you there. I came here for Identity, not Altis Life. Identity is a cop vs criminal game that will redefine the MMORPG genre. I'm not interested into an heavily modded army game. And let's not talk about how people could abuse it and the amount of toxicity... I personally haven't played it, because I've heard some bad stuff about it. And oof that's one big long reply which took me quite some time to write.

1 pointGreetings everyone, Today I'd like to update you guys on some progress for Identity. Below, you will find new pictures that haven't been shown to the public eye yet. We know you are waiting so eagerly to play, but please remember everything takes time. Thanks to everyone who has shown the developers support thus far!

1 pointAlright, i'll start by saying this. Money isn't my issue. I spent 30 dollars on this game, and it only comes to mind once every couple of weeks. Im not motivated by desire, or a refund, or even anger. So devs/moderators, take this into consideration. All of it. The Dev Tracker is honestly ridiculous and you guys know it is. Whoever you had in charge of updating it wasn't doing that, and it sat on 1-2 things left for upwards of 2 months. That is... words cant describe what that is. The game itself has been in development for YEARS, which is something you have all heard before, and your generic "Developin gayms taeks a lot of tyme" isn't even reputable anymore. It's been too long, and you guys are VERY OBVIOUSLY focusing your efforts on things that are so stupid, SUCH AS: Streaming the development. Streaming takes A LOT of effort, and communication with fans in the chat, and so far your streams have been an accurate depiction on the work ethic. "Hey guys, welcome to this stream where we take about 2 of our (previously stated) 20 developers, and take about 4 to 5 hours making a fucking lampshade! Join us again next year when we start work on the table legs!" Its absurd, streaming it is stupid and time consuming. A whole new fucking website design? Seriously? We're all SCREAMING for an update on progress and the best you can do is make the fucking website look pretty? What was even the purpose in that, just stop fiddling your dick and FINISH THE MODULE. Fucking. Micro-transactions. This is the main reason im making this post. You have over 1 million USD just from backers. Thats the average middle class mans LIFETIME EARNINGS. Yet, you spend more time making pointless things like fucking more apartments? Only this time it costs 100. Fucking. Dollars. I snooped in the store some more, and saw that you're LITERALLY SELLING THE CONCEPT OF A CUSTOM LICENSE PLATE FOR 15 FUCKING DOLLARS. Thats fucking ABSURD. Considering so far we get updates tri-monthly that contain messages like "We still workin on it" and "Hold yer horses, its only been 3 years" you would think they could give us something other than another way to waste our money on hope. Which, ties into my final point. See, i've realized a steady pattern with this development team, and I have a theory. You see, Asylum was a very small team, with a genuine hope to recreate that ARMA RP that we all know and love, but they needed funding. They started simple, you know, advertising an amazing game with a trailer and saying "Please, all we need is funding and we can make this happen" and they said it with TRUTH. Then, the wave. People donating willy nilly, praising this god tier game trailer, expecting an orgasm worthy experience. They have amassed a grand total 1,296,948 United States Dollars. Now I dont know how much it costs to pay for resources like textures, licenses, and a monthly subscription of whatever software they use to develop the game, BUT, I can tell you that there is NO reason it should cost 1.296 million dollars to make ONE MODULE that by the way, has no currency system, is completely experimental, and has a grand total of TWO CARS. TWO. I cant even imagine what the physics system is like. So anyway, Asylum were SHOCKED at this, and noticed that, they were making fucking bank on this. The hype train, the Pledges, the donations, hell, the twitch revenue (cant confirm, just a thought) and them being a very small, inexperienced development team, took the EA route real fucking fast. Overhyping games, putting out JUST enough information to keep the fans from rioting, and collecting those sweet sweet pre-order deals, then the second the game drops, there are paywalls EVERYWHERE. The player had no idea, and now they wasted hundreds on a game that they can barely play. Asylum, you've practically fucked your entire future as a company, and destroyed every last bit of fanbase you had. You needed to release more updates, you needed to put more effort into the game, you needed to stop being fucking greedy, and either release the game, or refund the backers. Judging by the micro transactions, this game is going to be HELL. And I will be refunding as soon as possible.

1 pointwell, atleast we got some answers, just wish they could give some time of eta sense they've been on this one task for soo long

1 pointLucky I understand you're one of the moderators and have been here a very long time but you constantly defend the developers and almost seem to have a complete bias. But I'm still willing to discuss my opinions with you and in response to your points: 1. According to the development tracker (which they gave us for complete clarity) it says the final task is a User Interface item and that it's just in testing. Which to me sounds like it's functional and is just being tested to work out small kinks. I still stand by my statement of constant delays, you are correct there have been 2 Official specific dates but I also count when they use terms such as "imminent" to be deadlines. I'm currently a student paramedic and when someone's life is in imminent danger that doesn't mean they need treatment a month and a bit later. 2. That's true 3D Artists don't program and from a business perspective that means they have too many artists and not enough programmers/coders. If I own a KFC is there any point in me having 20 people working as cashiers and only 5 cooks or is it more important in having a proper balance? 3. The community is mad already, I'm stating that it should be a huge priority for them to change that. The way I see them doing that is through better communication, in all honesty I feel like I have no idea what's holding back TS release. Officially (The tracker) it's a User Interface test but in reality I've read half a dozen different theories on the forums from the elevator not working for the apartments to a database crash. They've taken a step in the right direction with beachball but I feel like they're really limiting his ability to do his job properly by limiting what he can communicate about. 4. Yeah you're right they have acknowledged mistakes in the past but I genuinely believe they haven't learnt from them, the issues we had way back then are still present today and I'd just like to see some action. Later Edit: I also just want to add, I've got nothing against the developers or moderators or anyone on this site all my complaints are because I feel like they're taking the game is taking a turn in the wrong direction and I really want the game to succeed. By pointing out these faults I'd love to see the developers take action (If they agree with me) and hopefully change things for the better.
-
1 pointIt's almost like they're developing a game that allows for heavy customization on your characters life and style.
-
1 point@Beach_BallThe website doesn't update the tracker are you able to bring this up to someone, sorry for being rude if I sound like it. thank you!
-
1 pointWhen you say estimated release please say it is your own estimate. As the devs never gave the estimate of 2020 for the full game.
-
1 pointThen that means it should be all the more mandatory that we get actual updates. The tracker is a waste anyway (due to lack of clarity about what's going on), but if even that isn't going to work, then it needs to be rectified with written updates (which is what should be happening in the first place).

1 pointThe website is fairly new and has some bugs... the taks tracker stuck on 2 days is one of them
-
1 pointI'm enjoying reading those actually, at least I see other people with the same feelings about this situation, the more topics the more I realize this game is going to suck(hopefully i'm wrong)

1 pointThey can’t release the current version if there’s a flaw that causes a database crash... Don’t understand the logic in the first one. Addressing number 5, your entire point is undermined by the fact that most people who are complaining are complaining based on an emotional response and a general lack of information on what’s currently going on. It’s not that fucking hard to figure out why they’re not releasing the current build immediately or why they’re not releasing the website (I know they have but it was a common complaint before). This isn’t rocket science. I don’t feel like addressing any of your other points personally but if you’d like me to, I’d be more than willing to.

1 pointAlright. We paid for it, and we've been CONSTANTLY lied to. The developers don't even provide an apology for making everyone wait so long, they actually respond to genuine questions and complaints with smart ass jokes. It isn't reputable because we've seen the fucking trailers, and the other trailers, and the OTHER trailers, clearly the game is finished or at least PLAYABLE, they're only holding it for more money, and until we have another explanation as to WHY it isn't released, we literally can't come to any other assumption. I'd also like to point out that you're bringing in an ENTIRELY different topic and bringing a genuine complaint to a ridiculous level to ridicule me, which I don't appreciate. Its extremely immature. At what point did I even state that the 3D artists had ANYTHING to do with coding? You pulled that out of your ass. My complaint, the focus was- actually let me make it easier for you to understand. WHY DOES IT TAKE 4 HOURS TO MAKE A LAMPSHADE. WHY DO THE DEVELOPERS GIVE THEMSELVES MORE DISTRACTIONS BY STREAMING THE ENTIRE PROCESS. Your entire reply was just dodging legitimate questions and bringing up random things to make me seem like a fucking lunatic.
-
1 pointIf you are going to refund, well... JUST FUCKING DO IT. We do not care, just ask for it before it's too late. I really don't understand this urge most people have to let everyone knows they are pissed at something... This REALLY sound needy, to say the least. Now, on topic: Why? Why isn't reputable anymore? Cause you decided? So if you are fed up about, let's say, the shape of the Earth you go: "The globe isn't reputable anymore, the Earth is flat now"? Now, I really understand that ignorance most of the times bring peace of mind, but not always, like in this case. I mean, I don't even know where to start... It does not take a genius to know that an artist, who do lampshade and table legs DOES NOT MESS WITH CODING. Artist do the objects in game, developers and coders make the rest. Is that clear enough or you need a drawing? Seriously, you should have stopped your sentence before "BUT" And then there is this... I mean, why I am even wasting my time here?
