5 pointsPeople are upset, Do you blame them? There is 0 transparency. They are not stating any issues they are facing to be clear why are they so behind. Stating that they had to start from scratch does not mean they lost the models, they may had to rewrite the code but then again it would put them behind but how far behind nobody knows. Also no developer is ever alone in, a lot of technical stuff is being helped out by the unreal team when you have the license they will provide support. In 3 weeks we have not heard from the dev team giving us some kind of answer and if they are so confident everything is going the right direction why don't we hear anything from them about it?

3 pointsOk. So If most of you wonderful community members remember me that is good. But for the rest of you who don't let me introduce myself again. I am TPlays. I have been backing this game for a long time. I mean a long time. Now the thing about that means I have seen the ups and a lot of downs. But I have always been on the dev teams side. But today I bring my first formal complaint. Why on God's Earth have we been at one task remaining for more than 2 months. I mean come on. I have done nothing but fight for this game and fight for people to know that I love and support this gAme. But devs you are making me look like an idiot. But none the less. I am still going to support that the devs deliver the game we were all promised a long time ago.

2 pointsI can understand being impatient with the delays and all; however, they have already started to show more transparency in having their tracker available. Perhaps they could post a little more, but "demanding" things from them solves nothing. You paid $100 to fund a future game. It doesn't mean you paid $100 to breathe down their necks.

2 pointsNow Psisyn is blacklisted from the forums monkaS now i should be worried.

1 pointAs a real life EMT, I would definitely be interested in seeing a medical system that is simple yet revolves around role play. Things like blood pressure, heart rate, bleeding control, saleen, etc. Here's how I would imagine the medical system to be programmed: Each civilian normally has 5 liters, or 5000mL of blood volume. A single gun shot would cause blood loss ( 2mL per second on the limb, and 4mL per second on the chest or abdomen) Stab wounds are also a possibility. Multiple gun shot wounds or stab wounds would multiply the bleeding affect. Normal blood pressure = 120/80, normal heart rate = 75. Each 1/2 liter (500mL) of blood loss causes a 10 point loss in blood pressure. Each time the blood pressure drops 10 points, the heart rate increases 10 points. (I can explain why if you want). ***Any blood pressure under 80/40 will cause the patient to pass out, any blood pressure under 50/10 will cause the patient to "die", but can still be resuscitated with CPR. A player will be able to function normally with wounds for an amount of time until his low blood pressure causes the player to pass out. This will allow the player to continue the gun fight with wounds, or give the player enough time to apply first aid to himself or a teammate. However, if a player passes out, he will need a medic to administer fluids for him to wake back up. At that point the player can either refuse further treatment, or elect to go to the hospital/be treated in the ambulance until the blood pressure is stabilized. The incentive for transport to the hospital being that a medic can give fluids to a patient up to 140/ 100 for an extra buffer of health!!! This will encourage role play. Okay so here's an example: one gun shot wound to the chest = 4mL of blood loss per second. 1 minute = 240mL of blood loss, therefore a person loses 1000mL or 1 liter of blood in approx. 4 mins per gunshot wound to the chest or abd. That means it would take 16 mins to die from one gunshot wound, and 10 mins for a player to pass out from a gun shot wound to the chest or abdomen. Double that time for gun shots to a limb. Now, of course more gun shot wounds would cause a multiplication of blood loss, so be careful out there! Maybe armor would deflect 5 bullets before losing its effectiveness??? There are 7 "compartments" on the human body. 1) The chest 2) The head 3) The abdomen 4) the Right arm 5) the left arm 6) the R leg 7) and the L leg. Head injuries: Laceration, fracture, gun shot wound...maybe a helmet deflects one or two bullets before losing its effectiveness??? Chest injuries: Laceration, broken rib, gun shot wound...maybe a Kevlar vest deflects one or two bullets before losing its effectiveness??? Abdomen injuries: Gun shot wound, laceration. Limb injuries: Gun shot wound, laceration, open fracture (bleeding), closed fracture (non-bleeding) Blood volume, blood pressure, and heart rate chart: Volume: 6000mL, BP: 140/100, HR: 55------- Volume: 5500mL, BP: 130/90, HR: 65------ Volume: 5000mL, BP: 120/80, HR: 75----- Volume: 4500mL, BP: 110/70, HR: 85----- Volume: 3500mL, BP: 100/60, HR: 95----- Volume: 3000mL, BP: 90/50, HR: 105------ Volume: 2500mL, BP: 80/40, HR: 115 (Pass out)----- Volume: 2000mL, BP: 70/30, HR: 125----- Volume: 1500mL, BP: 60/20, HR: 135----- Volume: 1000mL, BP: 50/10, HR 145 (DEATH)----- Volume: 500mL, BP: 40/10, HR: 0 (Can still be saved with CPR)----- Volume: 0mL, BP: 30/0, HR: 0 (NOT able to resuscitate and must respawn) CPR and Resuscitation: CPR can be administered by anyone, and will prevent the pressure from dropping if all wounds are bandaged successfully. However, it can only be administered if the player "dies", i.e. blood pressure at 50/10 or less. If the patient "dies", they can still receive defibrillation by a medic. However, defibrillation will only work if the blood pressure is 90/40. So...the medic will need to give saleen up to 90/60 in order for the defibrillation to work. This will also encourage teamwork between the two medic partners. A patient who has been successfully resuscitated via defibrillation MUST be transported to the hospital by the medics and MUST receive the health buffer of 140/100. Now let's apply this type of scenario to a whitelisted server... "New life rule" does not apply unless you actually re-spawn. The time it takes to transport a patient who has received defibrillation is enough time to make his return to the fight reasonable. Since the medics are a neutral entity, they cannot be within a certain distance to an active gunfight, therefore the victim's teammate will have to be able to carry the victim away from the gunfight and toward the medics. A feature to load an unconscious player into a vehicle would significantly aid this process. Example: Officer down, teammate stops the bleeding, carries him to the patrol car, loads him into the patrol car, drives him 200m (or whatever) to the medics on stand-by, medics commence patient care. The officer can either wait for his comrade to be healed, or drive back to the gunfight. OR...depending on EMS AND POLICE policies, there might be tactical medics equipped with vests and helmets that are permitted to go into an active firefight and operate ONLY TO STABILIZE AND TRANSPORT THE VICTIM BACK TO THE NEARBY AMBULANCE VIA CARRY ANIMATION. After reviewing this system and looking at practical application, most of the time the bleeding can be stopped by applying bandages to yourself, therefore medics will rarely be needed unless a person suffers multiple gun shot wounds over time. With that said, personnel who are not trained in first aid, i.e. civilians....would have a lower probability of successfully applying a bandage compared to a police officer who would have a higher probability due to police training. (Medics having 100% success rate). These probabilities/percentages can be programmed into each type of player character. Bleeding control is very important, since bleeding is what drops your blood pressure. Trauma and Medical conditions: -Gun shot wound to the chest: 4mL of blood loss per second (requires "Occlusive dressing" or blood pressure will continue to drop) -Gun shot wound to the abdomen: 4mL of blood loss per second (requires "Trauma dressing") -Gun shot wound to the head: 8mL of blood loss per second (requires "Trauma dressing") -Laceration: 4mL of blood loss per second for lacerations to the head, chest or abdomen, and 2mL of blood loss for lacerations to any limb (from stabbing or blunt force trauma, i.e. non-bladed weapons or fists)...(blunt force trauma with probability of 1:10 to cause a laceration), stabbing = 100% probability of laceration. Requires "Medium gauze" -Fractured limb (from MVA a.k.a. motor vehicle accident higher than 35mph) OR (fall from higher than 20 feet)...could be an open fracture or closed fracture, open causes bleeding. Requires "Cardboard Splint" -Fractured spine (from MVA a.k.a. motor vehicle accident higher than 50mph) OR (fall from higher than 35 feet)....causes neurogenic shock, which instantly drops the blood pressure to 80/40 (passes out). Requires "C-collar and Spine Board" -Dehydration: Not drinking enough water will cause the blood pressure to slowly drop. Maybe 1mL per minute? Player will eventually pass out and need medical treatment. Requires "Saleen Bag" -Low blood sugar: Not eating will cause your blood sugar level to slowly drop, causing you to pass out. Maybe 0.5 points per minute? Normal blood sugar: 70-140mg% (pass out at <40mg%). Requires "Oral Glucose" (can be store bought) if they are conscious...or "Saleen Bag" followed by "Dextrose 50%" if they are unconscious. via medic only -Smoke inhalation: A result of not cooking meth properly, causes the player to have decreased run speed and inability to eat or drink. Also causes decrease in shooting accuracy. Requires "Oxygen Mask" by a medic. Resolved after 5 mins of O2 therapy. -Drug overdose: Causes the player to pass out, slowly lowering the heart rate. A heart rate less than 40 causes death. Requires "Mucosal Atomization Device" by medic. -Emphysema: A result of chronic smoking. A condition that causes decreased stamina or slower run speed. Requires "Oxygen Mask" by medic. Resolved after 2.5 mins of O2 therapy EMS equipment: -An ambulance and gurney where you can take the gurney out of the ambulance first(animated), roll the gurney to the patient with the crew member holding it (animation), then load the patient on the gurney, then roll the gurney back to the ambulance with the patient on the gurney, and finally load the patient into the ambulance (animation). 1 pointEveryone please. I get angry too but we cannot let that get in the way of this game. I say we give the Devs more time. I know how hard it is to make a game. SO all we have to do is give time. Also like I said yesterday GTA V took 5 years to create. FIVE YEARS. You guys need to understand that this game is offering a lot more than GTA and the fact they are actually getting us something to play is great. You guys need to understand that staying loyal to the cause will help the Devs. We must show that we still support the game. I would like to hear what you guys have to say please reply and I will be checking the forum hourly!
-
1 pointNot sure. Yes, you are one of the people who have waited the longest time for this. I do agree but one thing is that Every company is using the "Release now, fix later" type of excuse just to make more money. Asylum is breaking that and trying to set the better standards in which was broken by big money companies.
-
1 pointi would like to play the game as soon as possible even on my own server i just want to play the game that has so many things it can become in the future and can you temporary remove the thing thats causing the crashes?
-
1 pointit wasn't supposed to release in 2016, the Kickstarter only allows the release date to be a certain amount of time after the Kickstarter was created. The first initial expected release date was 2017, between then and now they have thrown away all their code and rewritten all of it. And just so you know, this is a game that is still in development, delays with these games happen all the time... I would rather have it a year delayed than a game that cant run because the code doesn't work properly.
-
1 pointthere is no way to possibly know that. GTA and identity are two different games. GTA has a story, a multiplayer story, npc's and whatnot. These things are not as easy to develop. Identity has almost no npc's and the npc's they do have don't participate in driving and such, they also don't need to make a story or something.

1 pointNo matter how you slice it, a competent development team would have more to show in 3 years time OR have an explanation as to why they do not. This is pretty irrefutable in the real world of game development. So I can understand the frustration of those who have poured money and faith into this game for so very little transparency in return. This is especially true if they are using Unreal engine or any pre-made engine for the backbone of the project. I'm not saying a game isn't being made, but comparing it to an actual competent team developing AAA games is beyond asinine. There's such a thing as a middle ground where people can be in the reality of what's happening. You have people with their head in the clouds going full support, pessimists screaming "scam", but there is that middle ground where we can both see a product is being made, but it's definitely not up to scratch for something with this amount of funding behind it and 3+ years in.
-
1 pointYou truly should look at my forum posts because they put stuff into perspective. Honestly you need to think. We are goin on year two for this game. GTA V which is offering way less than this game took 5 years to make. Pls look at my topics I have posted they view both sides and do very much help people process whats going on.
-
1 pointBut if they didn't start somewhere, how could they learn to program? They weren't born with keyboards attached to their fingers. <:)

1 pointActually, mod development IS a good doorway into game development. So I'm unsure why you think mod development is a strike against someone making a game. It's not a prerequisite into game development, but it is a good prep to building your own games, and definitely not detrimental to that effect. (I'm a game dev too. Didn't start out in modding scene, but I know some modders who went on to become pretty nice full-fledged developers!)

1 pointyou cant possibly compare SCUM to identity, SCUM is a whole other game franchise with different mechanics. Saying "have you seen the mechanics of SCUM" is useless because you cant simply compare the mechanics of two completely different games... And how do you even know how much funding SCUM has? I cant find any details regarding their funds whatsoever.

1 pointif Tplays, the dude who annoyed me purely for the fact he always seemed so blind due to the love of this game is complaining, theres a big issue

1 pointAs much as I dislike pessimism, this sort of mindset isn't helped by the Devs being in hiding. They've been working on a UI problem for ages now, it's the last module, the prices go up and no one knows what's happening with the game. If people were about to see or do something tangible to do with the game, like actually try this module that has been coming out for a long time, then people would probably be a lot more comfortable waiting.

1 pointIf developers leave the company, there might be an issue there too. - They get offered a better job (shame on your company) - They lack trust in the project (shame on your company) - They've lost trust in the company (shame on ... you get the gist of it) - Reason 35B In any case, the MAIN issue which has always been linked to Asylum Entertainment, is the lack of communication. Sure, things picked up over the years, but doing a 70% ok job instead of 25% ok.... is still not ok. Aim for 100%! Dev blogs take longer an longer to appear, again! It doesn't take around 30 days, it takes 40! And if, excuse me, WHEN it's late, we get excuses in the likes of: "TS is close to release, not enough time to write the blog." Hahaha. That's a terrible excuse don't you think? Months ago? You've proven yourself wrong just by letting time go by. And even IF there indeed isn't enough time for John to write the blogs, in addition of running the company and doing programming as well ... it's not OUR fault you cannot do all these things before the month ends. Plan better? Work on it 10 minutes each day until you're happy with your final write-up? Work at it from home? Show you're motivated to get the module out on Steam, on top of keeping your "sponsors" happy? Put in even some extra overtime? And if you do, be transparent about it? Show us the motivation you have. But for now, even with BeachBall being an ACE CM, this company lacks a LOT of feels with its community. The same community who believes in the same game you guys, the devs and volunteers, do.

1 pointSorry but you guys have got it quite wrong with how long there has been 1 task. I can tell you that the 1 task left has only been there as the last task for maximum 1 month (4 weeks) and not 2 months (8 weeks). I don't know where you got that info from but that is false and it is a miss calculation on whoever made the assumption on it being that long. The reason is that 4 weeks ago it was when I was on holiday and well I was away from the internet. The day I went on holiday, there were still 2 tasks left and that was during the weekend.

1 pointNah, not a scam in the sense of the word. These guys are just in over their heads and have poor skills when it comes to management and funds, and communication is nonexistent. I agree the release date is certainly not imminent............but it's far from the scam the clickbait title kinda of hints at. I think release is going to be a mess too. (especially for those hyping it up as if it's made by a AAA-title making company) In the final release (after probably years to come tbh) I think it'll be an alright title for a seemingly relatively inexperienced team's first foray into complete conceptualization and game making. It is worrisome about their obvious misappropriation of funds (I consider it that) and that they've only managed this in 3+ years, but I think it will be released eventually and we will have a product, even if it is a ghost of the idea it was hyped to be.

1 pointI don't know... if you are going to make a rant video about anything, at least get your facts straight... lots of misinformation in there. And saying "I love to be proved wrong" trying to be the owner of the truth in both cases, doesn't add credibility to your words.

1 pointHey everyone, I'm Brendan, I'm currently a senior in high school taking a programming class and 3D modeling course with high hopes to go into the gaming industry in the future. I've been gaming ever since I was about 5 or 6. I've always loved video games and the world that it put you in. By the age of 13 I bought my first PC and gamed on it for about 2 years, After working part-time I save up money and built my new Gaming PC which is what I use now. After switching to PC I will never go back to consoles! Once I built that computer I installed all my software for 3D modeling and have been creating different projects to store in a portfolios for future job applications, by late 2016 I hope to apply for an internship at Gearbox Software (Creators of Borderlands) to improve my knowledge of the gaming industry. Thanks for checking out my introduction and I hope to see you guys around!

0 points1. Damien Malik would contact Law enforcement officers regarding an individual that is threatening to assault and/or execute him. 2. Jeru Jones would travel to a more rural region of the Island in order to exit the vehicle and pull out his firearm on the suspect. 3. Dimitri Tsarnov would have several vans follow the subject, prior to leading the suspect in a warehouse. Afterwards, the suspect would be executed by his mobsters prior to slicing the suspect into miniature pieces and selling his meat within the market.
