1 pointHey Guys, I thought I would share with you a little guide I designed a few years ago for businesses in Arma 3 Life. It's a simple business model that worked pretty well. It's more or less an algorithm for any business you choose to make. It allows for your employees to be paid, and will minimize them breaking off for sole profit. It is purposely written so that anyone can understand. --------------- Business Model System This is the business model system for maximum efficiency for any business. This model uses a percentage based pay and is designed to be easily modified and easily implemented. Here is the Key for the following guide: A- Overhead (This is the money you need to cover your expenses) B- Profit (This is the money you make after your initial investment has been covered) C- Employee Payroll (This is the money for you to pay your employees) D- Investors Payroll (This is the money to pay your investors) ----------------- Generally speaking you need to arrange all of your investors payroll and your employee payroll to only come from your profits. It is important to remember what your total investment is, your profit, and your payroll. Be sure that you keep an eye on your finances. This is an example of the business model: Your total Overhead (A) is $1000 You have one investor, who has invested $1000 into your business in exchange for 5% of your profit (B). This places a $20,000 valuation on your company. You have one employee plus yourself. Your employees and investors make 5% of your profits. From 100% of your profit (B), you now owe 10%, which leaves you with 90% of your profit. Your profit is $5000. This means that $250 goes to your investor, $250 goes to your employees. 90% of your profit or $4500 is now left over. You invest $2000 into your Overhead this time. You have the same amount of investors. Your company's valuation is still only $20,000. You have gained another employee plus yourself. You have banked $2500. If your profit from a $1000 investment was $5000, this means you made $6000 from the total investment. In turn you expect to make double because of your investment of $2000. This puts you at a $10,000 profit. 5% of $10,000 is $500. You pay your employees $500 and your investor $500. This leaves you with a total of $9000 profit. This algorithm is a progressive system. You do not have to pay any specific percentage, I was simply explaining the math with the easy percentages. ---------------- Q: Why would someone work for me, if they could make the same amount as me? A: Your employee pays no overhead, he uses your equipment, he uses your services, he uses your resources. He has no risk involved. If he is robbed, it is not his money he is losing. (Or She). Also, your employee will scale with more employees and more profit. Whereas if he were to do it all on his own, he would make the same singular profit without the ability to scale, unless he were to create his own company. (Or She). Not to mention, you could promote the employee to making more of a percentage. Q: Why not split the profits evenly? A: You can do that! Except you do need to take out your next expenses before dividing up the profit. Always cover your next venture. Q: Why bank the money? A: The reason for banking your money is insurance. If you are robbed, or an expensive piece of equipment is lost, stolen, or broken, you need to be able to cover those expenses. You pay yourself, the same amount as you pay your employees. You bank the remainder for upgrades and incidentals. Q: Is this the only system that works? A: Heavens no. There are many different systems that work, this is just an easy one to start with until you get your feet wet. ----------------------- Should you have any questions, or anything you would like to add to this guide (Business Model) please reply and leave a comment.

1 pointI don't know... if you are going to make a rant video about anything, at least get your facts straight... lots of misinformation in there. And saying "I love to be proved wrong" trying to be the owner of the truth in both cases, doesn't add credibility to your words.

1 pointThats impossible to happen, they cant have mistaken time because there is no ETA and they cant just magically add new tasks, the task they are finishing now is the last task needed to deliver what they promised with TS, they are not just gonna get new ideas for new tasks.

1 pointCustomize your character and apartment, walk around and socialize, sing in the karaoke bar together, go to the cinema and see real public domain streamed movies, paint, submit art pieces in the gallery for others to see, play chess, etc. It’s small but it’s also just what Module 1 is. A framework to be built upon. Later additions will be tattoos, playing instruments, new building interiors, the shooting range, garages, rideable bikes and more. No ETA for future modules. But it will be nowhere near as long as Module 1 took.

1 pointI was wondering when people can just look up these things themselves. It’s not that hard to see what it’s for if you go into the devblog section of the forums.
-
1 pointwhy arent they telling us "There's a bug in the UI" or "So and so happened so we have to do this" like they literally barely put out a dev blog once every like 40 days like cmon man give us daily updates they put no effort into communicating with the people that are giving them money shut yo ass up too if you say "you're ignorant" or "be patient" because i been patient for like 2 years almost and i expected town square to come out back in DECEMBER when everybody was anticipating it

1 pointThis is the first time in my career that someone says - I have a degree in programming and now i am studying app developement. Where did the fundamentals go? How can you call yourself programmer and still dont know the lifecycle of a project? Coz if you knew then, FOR SURE you would understand that this company does not even have a detailed analysis documentation. Wanna be called developer/programmer? Study and actually hold a job for 2 years. Until then, you are an entry/starter

1 pointI think when it's released we will receive this message: Hello valued Pledger, It's finally here! After many years of hard work, blood, sweat and tears, we are proud to present Module 1: Town Square! Unfortunately, due to lack of funding and this mammoth, unrealistic target we have set ourselves with the tiny team we have, we are going to have to stop developing all further modules as we literally cannot do what we had hoped. While this project was never intended to be a scam, it seems like turning it into one is in our best interests. We hope you enjoy your virtual online chat room, meanwhile, we are all going to Disney Land! Yours, Asylum Entertainment

1 pointI assure you he has no experience. And its an insult to other professional programmers to position himself among them. Learn how hard is MCSA is and then conclude by yourself. You are joking me right? The whole management is a mistake. Which company leaks release information on discord but does not update Dev Blog? And how long are u prepared to wait for the full game to be released? Can you wait for 6-10 years? 25 man team. Thats 200hours a day, 1000hours a week, 4000 hours a month. Just make the maths dude. Min wage for an employ is 10 dollars per Hour. (Dont want to mention the amount that advanced and seniors make) 4000 hours x 10 = 40000 dollars/ month. But lets say that they somehow they got the money. With 4000 hours per month, you are telling me that FIRST MODULE is still under developement. Please dude. Thats clearly bad management. Its a insane how you are trying to make people believe this crap.

1 pointIt's literally says SHOP and it says BUY, I'm not pledging a project im buying a fucking game.
-
1 pointOne task could take anywhere from a day to a couple of months. If they find a bug while testing that requires a major rewrite of the UI systems then that could take up to a few months, or longer.

1 pointAs a police officer/sheriff, you can pretty much patrol wherever you want (considering you're a patrol officer). Mechanics (Can you be a forest ranger?) - December 5th 2017 - https://clips.twitch.tv/ThoughtfulAdorablePidgeonCopyThis

1 pointme personally and this is just me, i think it should be kept to talking through mic, i realise not everyone has a mic but a cheap one shouldn't be hard to get, the reason for this is it wouldn't be realistic if so many players were mute like GTA and well typing is the same thing, sending a text via phone or email in game yeah sure because you can't speak through either of said communication types. by no means should my opinion deter anyone from being able to enjoy text typing roleplay i'm just purely giving my take on the game
-
1 pointI asked this question a while back becuz I feel u sometimes i prefer to type than to talk (mostly when watching netflix and playing). Im sure you will be able to type if u prefer

0 pointsdidn't have the time to post in English? I am not going to put extra effort in translating your post or translating my reply just because you were too lazy to post in English, this is an English community and it clearly states in the guidelines that you use proper grammar, this probably also means, use English.
-
0 pointsbecause I have had my fair share of end projects, with I am not a programmer I mean that I am not a programmer from job but a programmer in the making... you can have experience with programmer without being one, I am purposely saying I am not a programmer yet seeing that you would just get even more triggered as proven above.
-
0 pointsYes. A mic is pretty essential to play this game. Like @JamesLuck01 said, your best bet is to play on a text chat only server.
-
0 pointsWell get ready to get shot or something else depending on the situation. If someone asks you something and you're slowpoking you might get bullet in the face. Or they walk away. It's like talking to a slow person in real life (a retard) You're saying something with voice chat and then you gotta wait 10 seconds for an answer because they're typing. Best thing would be to join a text chat only server, if there is such a thing.
