1 pointFrom what i was told you can only go to prison for 45 minutes but you can stay longer if you choose. What i personally think is that this time should be adjusted mainly because a person that commits triple homicide should have to stay in longer like for example 3 days and i'm not talking about in game days im talking irl days which only counts when you're in game, for example lets say i play 5 hours a day serving a 3 day period id be in prison for close to 14 days irl. This makes it so people fear to go to prison or they tend to be more careful so they don't get caught. LMK what you guys think because i think this should be a thing

1 pointI was wondering if there could be a scientist or engineer career where the player is able to design machines and stuff?

1 pointI'm not upset so don't put words in my mouth. I just see this forum filled with immature pathetic commenters who just like to moan about everything when they don't hear or get what they want immediately, because it's the youth culture of today to expect and want everything right now and they just can't wait for it.. People who pledged really haven't any rights so get off your high horse. If asylum wanted to shut this down tomorrow there is nothing you or anyone can do so perhaps pledging is not for those people or yourself if you can't take the delays or setbacks. If you can't be patient and afford to lose your money if it all goes wrong then just go back playing with your other toys and then buy the game when it's done.

1 pointThere are no real AI in the next modules really. A couple AI but no AI will be roaming Identity in any way. The S.W.A.T. Module will be the quickest module but the Racing module will be not so quick as that but quicker than module 1. Module 1 is the base game mechanics and also, they had to redo it 3 times causing it to get delayed so much.

1 pointIf you think the games not coming out, then leave. We don't want to hear your fucking bullshit. You little bitches do nothing but fucking complain and then you go and make new threads spouting the same garbage.

1 pointYou're the real problem if you're getting this upset over people voicing concerns about the game. Development clearly isn't going the way it should be at this point, and people have the right to be upset. This is just a small section of the game, already a year overdue from their initial estimates and in all honestly pretty underwhelming for the time they've spent on it.

1 point1. That time is for testing purposes. Yes it is maximum 45 minutes right now, but the devs are using it as a testing purpose to then choose the right amount of time after testing. 2. Prison in Identity is like a whole another game on it's own. Also if the timer stays low, would you bother trying to break friends out of prison because I personally 95% of people won't bother doing a planned jail break because 1 hour/ 2 hours are very low and not worth it. 3. You can court appeal your case which you have to convince the jury that you are innocent. Getting a court case sorted probably will take longer than expected and by that time, you could already be out because your timer is up. 4. Note: a lot of this is my opinion

1 pointAm I the only one who is incredibly excited for the apartment customisation? From what I can see this game in general is only slightly above average game, however the apartment customisation aspect is absolutely incredible and far beyond anything I have personally ever seen. The Housing video is actually the reason I decided to pledge. What do you all think?
-
1 pointI understand a lot of people compare this to GTA but I'll be glad to have my apartment look unique instead of everyone having the same interior. ( Except for like one apartment in GTA which most people don't have and barely counts as being customizable. )

1 pointThats actually really good and I'm impressed he's actually bothering with testing it on his own You're right and I think thats a really good stance to have on it.

1 pointYou can work for a tow truck company and roadside assistance, and when you towed the broken car to your workplace, you need to fix it.

1 pointI think the Town Square will release and most likely end up being a buggy mess with next to nothing to do. Shortly after that I'm expecting the studio to either announce that they're closing or they'll just close without warning. They obviously didn't understand how complicated games like this are and thought it wouldn't be too much more difficult than making a mod for Arma. It appears to have been mismanaged quite terribly from both a project and PR standpoint. I'm not expecting a full game, or even for the TS itself to work all that well when it eventually does release.

1 pointI'm also excited for the customisation. But i'm even more excited for home the laptop and phone is going to work, like if you can create your own website and that kind of stuff

1 pointWho the hell do you people think you are? Personally I have an issue with pompous arrogant know it all's. I really cannot believe how much audacity some people have...How do you have the nerve to tell them how much they should be working...it's seriously time to grow up and stop tellin people how do their jobs...especially in an industry that you have NO CLUE about. Buying & playing games, and reading Game Informer doesn't make you a foremost authority on how to make games...Especially if you comparing them to other people...EVERYONE ISN'T THE SAME! Who are you people to tell them how they should be getting things done? I don't get it. Who died and left you Lord Of The Apes? Now your comparing them to doctors and bankers...? SMH...FACE PALM. I got the speed demon package, and I'm not here telling them how to do their job and make their game. The only schedule that they are behind on...is their own, they set deadlines for themselves, no one else set them. Honestly, calling them lazy and not willing to make sacrifices is about as arrogant as you can get, short of saying you can do it faster...LMAO you're lucky I'm not a developer on this game, with your massively faulted way of thinking and logic, I would give you ur pledge back out of my own pocket and tell you to F off. Your comparing the making of video game work ethics, with those of doctors and bankers...yea you have no clue what the hell you are talking about. What is generally expected is...that when you are doing a project, that entails making a game like no one has ever made before...you don't compare them to SHIT THAT's ALREADY BEEN DONE. You knob! It's not even my game and I'm getting pissed off. lol But I have invested a pretty penny to play this game. People like you aren't going to make this process any faster or easier if you keep spreading seeds of doubt. Honestly if it were to fail...I would blame the "supporter's" not the developer's. I might not agree with how they've done certain things, but it isn't my project, so I let them do them. When I'm doing my thing I don't like to be told how and when it should be finished...Especially by someone who has no clue or experience in what is being done. If you support them then you don't have to agree with their process, you just have to support what they are trying to accomplish. If we can give developer's like UbiSoft Rockstar etc...our undying support even after they screw up...with all their resources and experience then it should go without saying that these guys deserve the same. Considering that Asylum is attempting to make a game that not one veteran company has decided to take on. So please get off your high horse and either support the game or don't, but dont step from one side of that line to the other depending on if they are moving fast enough to not get your panties all bunched up.

1 pointI've already quoted this on another post. But one of the devs wrote in one of their livestreams: CyberSecs: Dunno, these 3 tasks are the worst, and they spawn bugs of their own, it's like a rabbit hole sometimes, but it's clearing up!
-
1 pointI'm OK with the wait but I personally have an issue with the devs take 2 day weekend breaks, taking off holidays, and I assume being out of the office by 5 pm every day. This might be OK for an already established company that's on schedule to release their product or deliver their services but it's generally expected for a startup to go the extra mile and work harder than the usual 9-5 5 day work weeks, especially when they're so much behind schedule. If I were them I'd make a little temporary sacrifice and work a little harder for the next year or two. The game they're making has a lot of potential, it would be a shame if they under-deliver due to laziness or not willing to make short term sacrifices. Many business owers, startup owners, and even working professionals like doctors and bankers can attest to the fact that they need to work extremely difficult and long hours in order to succeed so it's not really unreasonable to expect the same here.

1 pointWasn't the jump animation fugly since the last stream and was going to be changed? Why wasn't that listed on the tracker at the time?
-
1 pointFirst thing is first, Rockstar delivers on their promises. They set realistic deadlines and meet them the vast majority of the time. Asylum has set numerous deadlines and failed to meet a single one. Secondly, this isn't the game we are waiting on. It is a tiny module. It is a sneak peak, not even a beta. I don't come on these forums and talk negatively about the devs, and while I consider myself on their side I don't think its fair to be annoyed at people for getting frustrated. The devs dug themselves this hole, and again while I am on their side I won't attack the people who are annoyed because it is entirely justified.
