It is a simple equation.. cause -> effect. Limited information -> Questions or complaints about the lack of information. Unmet expectaions based on assumptions derived from whatever info we have etc. It seems odd to not understand why posts like this exist... Their existance is proof more detailed info is needed by the community.

another one of those generic, I need this game now posts... things went wrong with the development and they had to remake town square twice... but thanks for pointing out that the game hasn't been released yet, surely this will help speed up the process... in all seriousness though, what is your goal posting this anyways? yeah we know they havent met release dates, blah blah blah if you really are sick of waiting then go ask for a refund but don't bother people with yet another post that says "this game is still not out yet" because believe me, there are plenty enough posts like these...

(b) Every individual has freedom to start business of his own choice. (c) All economic activities are guided by the motive of profit. (d) Individuals are the owners and acquire property and pass it on to next heir after death. (e) Government has little role to play in the functioning of the economy. Prices of goods and services are determined by the market forces of demand and supply. Important Business Information Tax on businesses is 10% on company profit. After employees have been paid, inventory bought, etc. Depending on what the company reports as profit a business could nearly have no tax! The Tale of Lucious Times Lucious grew to be homeless on the streets of Los Angeles. In a city of crime Lucious had to be on the lookout at every turn. In Lucious' young life he grew to be very aware of the crime filled city and knew he had to do something to ensure his safety. At 15, Lucious started an organization with a few neighborhood boys called "The Peacekeepers". These boys were brutal. They cleaned the streets of crime in the most direct ways possible. Showing up to criminal hideouts and wasting away every member present, making fake visits to prisons and jails to poison and eliminate those criminals on the inside, making appointments with the LAPD to let THEM know how things would be done. The Peacekeepers were vigilantes at the finest. The city soon had a crime rate so low new schools were being built and more people migrated to the lovely city of Los Angeles. Through all the harsh deeds The Peacekeepers had done Lucious never was present for the actual action. He was the mastermind, the planner, the brain of the whole operation. Sitting behind a desk as leader of The Peacekeepers. Oh how things looked great! Lucious had made something out of nothing and became a city icon and hero as he grew older. Though soon, things made a turn for the worst. Lucious' closest partner, his beautiful fiance was capture by a man known by the name Gustavo Fring. A now well-known high profile methamphetamine drug lord. He did so because by cleaning up the city Lucious made distribution for Mr. Fring come to a complete stop in the area. Lucious grew furious, so furious he began to walk into a whole new light. The Peacekeepers became a weapon at Lucious' disposal. He thought long and hard and then finally had a plan. After finding where Fring was located Lucious and his team of over 200 men approached the location, guns loaded and ready for anything. However, Fring was already aware of Lucious' presence and decided to retaliate. Fring killed Lucious' fiance, then sent out total war upon Lucious and his men. In the end only two men were left standing; Fring and Lucious. After few words, Lucious caught leverage and killed Fring. Though Lucious was severely injured by gunshot. He called the LAPD. With quickness, Lucious was saved and had chance to speak with the LAPD Chief of Police. He thanked Lucious for his doings and after a long conversation of tears the chief left. Lucious began to realize how much he'd loss. All his men, his fiance, his hold on the city from crime all gone! Three weeks later Lucious walked out of the hospital, grab all $789,211 he'd raised with his people, and began to leave town for a new home. A place called Turtle Beach on Identity Island. However, when he got to the town line he found something waiting for him. Over half the city was standing their with gold-colored gold-scented candles. Some of them stood to give thanks, but many stood ready to follow him wherever he went. A woman by the name of Dorris Jean approached Lucious and told him this: "We give these candles to represent who you are to the city. Forever will you be the gold we all love, the gold we all know has provided, the gold we all know will pay the price. For to us you are a leader and friend. For you have become like royalty in this city. And with you royalty we be your royal family." Lucious was proud. All negative feelings previous washed away. Lucious now felt the obligation to continue to lead. For he knew he was wise and could give great leadership. This time he wouldn't limit himself to the leadership of a groups of boys who run a city, no. That was below him now. Now he needed to lead in higher heights where he could have greater impact and influence. A position of power such as Governor would do the trick! So he then decided to venture into the political field of leadership once he arrived in his new home. A few hours later after a celebratory evening Lucious and the now called Royal Family left. 12 days later they arrived in Turtle Beach on the Identity island and the rest is soon to be foretold...

DISCLAIMER: Everything in this post is a concept and will not reflect the finished business plans and features. Welcome to the Velocity Logistics business plan. We are a logistics company that will strive towards building a solid and stable logistics core in a domestic and commercial way. Our aim will be to tackle our clients needs by offering them logistical solutions. The services that we will provide will range from, but are not limited to: ➤ Supply Chain Management ➤ Document Courier Service ➤ Logistical Solutions & Advice ➤ Home & Office Removal Service ➤ Commercial Delivery ➤ Domestic Delivery ➤ Specialty Delivery ➤ Heavy Haulage For more information, see "Future Technology" section of the post. (Video created by @Zebra) At this time as we do not have a feel for the games economy or market. So the financial department has decided not to release pricing until the games release or until more information is released about how the games economical systems may work. Below is the Start-up Cost sheet as of now for Velocity Logistics. These are subject to change due to the variability of costs in game. These are just estimates and does not include a pro forma (projected) profit and loss statement or a pro forma (projected) balance sheet. Those will be added after the economy in-game has been flushed out properly. Anyone looking to invest should contact @MichaelPayne or @VelocityLogistics. - Andrew, Financial Director This vehicle will be used for everyday delivery for both domestic and commercial operations: This vehicle will be used for high-priority & express delivery, again, for both domestic and commercial sectors: For heavy haulage, long distance and larger cargo, the vehicle shown below will be used: For commercial and domestic removal service, including homes and offices, the vehicle below will be used: To ensure that there is no delay in our operations, we have decided to implement our own maintenance division which will include these vehicles shown below: The future technology section is to showcase our ideas for future mods for when mod support is added in Identity. Whether it be vehicle technology or a pseudo global warming mechanic. See below for some of our current ideas. The above images show a custom in-vehicle operating system that allows the driver to log in with their unique credentials provided to access an array of custom features including delivery schedule, navigation maps, important updates from HQ, panic button, SOS breakdown recovery (and more). We would also like to implement a custom "Start/Stop" system, acting as a type of AFK mechanic. So if your vehicle is left unattended or idling for more than 15 seconds, the engine will cut off and then will automatically resume when the accelerator is pressed. This will save fuel and add immersion. Here is the PDA that we plan on using for our drivers when they are delivering goods. Our warehouse will be modern, in a vast and easily accessible area to meet all of our storage and operational needs. Exterior: Interior: This is our high detailed warehouse plan, it was made with full efficiency and productivity in mind. We took numerous hours to plan and assemble the blueprint. See numbered legend for specific details on each room. The office building will be the back-bone of our company, so we want to make sure it's comfortable and stylish for our employees. Exterior: Interior: Here at Velocity Logistics, security is of the up-most importance. So it is vital to us that we keep our customers belongings and logistics safe. To ensure this all employees will have a ID card for access to our warehouses and offices. The plan I have envisioned for Velocity Logistics is a consistent and efficient security procedure which will allow for smooth operations in any situation. Now I know that data protection is a very worry-some topic among businesses, so here at Velocity Logistics, all of our data centers will be kept securely in an isolated room with 24/7 surveillance and if that isn't enough, all electrical devices will have anti intrusion software which changes it's algorithms to match whatever type of cyber attack is happening. As stated above, all the employees will be given a special key card, with higher authority allows access to more places. Our warehouses will be fitted with hidden CCTV with facial recognition. As for our delivery vehicles, they will have GPS tracking integrated inside, as well as alarms. - Jin, Security Director Our uniform will be sleek, modern and comfortable. In addition it will be practical for all our staff. The full list of all our current partners may be viewed on our website here. How's it going everyone? Thought I would stop by and drop a police department structure I've been adapted over the years of my Digital Policing career. Pretty much have been doing digital law enforcement for GTA 4 LCDPFR RP and GTA 5 FiveM RP for about 7 years and this is the system I have found to work best. A lot of this information is pulled from a Officer Handbook that I have compiled over time. Pretty much going to initially cover Rank Structure and Department Units, however if someone would like me to add in other information I might be up for it. Rank Structure Command Staff Chief of Police / CoP ( ) – The Chief of Police (COP) is the highest-ranking officer in the Police Department. The COP is responsible for the planning, efficient administration, and operation of the Police Department. Assistant Chief of Police / ACoP ( ) - The Assistant Chief of Police (ACoP) assists the Chief of Police with management and operations of the Police Department. The Assistant Chief is the Officer in Charge of the department in the Chief’s absence. Administrative Staff Captain / Cpt ( ) - A Captain is assigned a designated bureau (Patrol, Special Operations, etc.) to which they have complete power of for efficient management and control. May schedule bureau wide meetings. Lieutenant / Lt ( ) - A Lieutenant is assigned as an assistant to a Captain to help with management and operations of a designated bureau. A Lieutenant will take control of the bureau in Captain's absence. May schedule bureau wide meetings. Supervisory Staff Sergeant / Sgt ( ) - A Sergeant is the primary supervisory position in the department and is required to provide instruction to assigned staff in the operation of their required duties. The basic capacity of a Sergeant is patrol supervision, but administrative and specialized assignments are also available. Police Officer III+I / POIII+I ( ) - After a month of being a Police Officer III and having served for three months in the department one becomes eligible to apply for the Supervisor Program. After passing the application and completing the interview they can embark on the Supervisor Program and receive their promotion to Police Officer III+I (SLO), a rank held exclusively by those embarking on SP. During this time, they will be tasked with basic field supervision and administrative tasks and will be mentored and trained by current Sergeants to become future Sergeants. Officer Ranks Police Officer III / POIII ( ) - After a month of being a Police Officer II, an officer becomes eligible for the promotion to Police Officer III. A Police Officer III is responsible for enforcing laws and ordinances; protecting life and property; issuing citations, making arrests, preparing reports; meeting with community members; working as a team member; and providing information to the public and departmental units. Police Officer II / POII - A Police Officer II performs basic duties such as: responding to the scene of a crime or an accident; interviewing suspects and witnesses; writing crime reports; responding to radio calls; monitoring any suspicious activity of ongoing crimes; coordinating vehicular traffic; visiting open businesses such as banks, markets, department stores, and service stations to establish a rapport with owners; booking suspects and evidence and transporting them to the appropriate Police Department facility; responding to citizens’ and visitors’ questions; and preparing Daily Field Activity Reports. Police Officer I / POI - The next step in the career ladder with the Police Department is Police Officer I. It is the rank given to all officers upon completion of the Training Program which consists of the Police Academy and FTO Phase. This rank is considered a probationary position. Cadet / Trainee - In the Police Academy, Cadets are taught criminal law, civilian interaction, and police procedure. In addition, they are trained in report writing, firearms, and driving. In the FTO Phase, Trainees continue to gain on the job experience and get one on one training with a senior officer. A Trainee will automatically advance to Police Officer I upon successful completion of the Field Training Program. Department Units Patrol Bureau The Patrol Bureau is the front line of the force and the largest unit within the department. The Patrol Division is composed dedicated and hardworking individuals that work to ensure smooth and effective community policing. These officers are under the supervision of one Captain and one Lieutenant who oversee all operations of the division. All new hires are detailed to Patrol upon the approval of their application and will be guided to success by supervisors and fellow members. Patrol Officers are responsible for patrolling the city, responding to routine calls for service, emergency responses, traffic enforcement, and maintaining a positive police presence throughout the city. Patrol Officers are the first point of contact for victims of crime and offenders. Usually what I like to do with the Patrol Division is have a Sergeant as a Squad Leader that has 5-10 Officers assigned to him. Prefer to keep it no more than 5 for low work load with management of your team (tracking activity, giving addition training, mentoring, etc.). Each Sergeant would report to the Patrol Lieutenant or Captain. Special Operations Bureau Here's an example of some of the specialty units that have been deployed over the years. There are others that could be added to this list but its unknown at this time if Identity will have the features to warrant having those units. Officers are allowed to apply to specialty units after holding the rank of POII for at least 2 weeks. With specialty units most people are only limited to one. There are a few cases where multiple specialty units can be combined like Traffic and Canine. S.W.A.T. members can also be apart of other divisions since it is a part-time unit. Traffic Unit The Traffic Unit is a unit of Patrol Officers dedicated to traffic related incidents. From aggressive traffic enforcement, DUI checkpoints, accident response and investigation, to aggressive pursuit intervention, Traffic Unit is here to ensure the roads and highways of remain safe for all drivers. Canine Unit The K-9 Unit provides a team of highly trained Officers & Canines capable of performing a variety of functions from narcotics and explosives detection, all the way to tracking suspects. Street Crimes Unit Street Crimes specializes in both apprehension of criminals as well as crime suppression. Officers are field trained for crime investigation and crime interception. They also specialize in sting operations and work closely with the SWAT to apprehend criminals. S.W.A.T. The SWAT team responds to various tactical events such as narcotics and prostitution stings, "jump outs", active shooters, and armed robbery response. Officers are trained in various fields such as building entry & clearing, crisis negotiation, aerial deployments, and long-range marksmanship. Administrative Bureau This third bureau is usually monitored and lead by the Chief and Assistant Chief in smaller departments. In larger departments a Captain is put in place to supervise the lead officers of the Administrative Divisions. Officers are allowed to apply to FTO after holding the rank of POII for at least 2 weeks. Officers can apply to HR and IA at the rank of POIII. Field Training Officers (FTOs) Field Training Officers have significant additional responsibilities over and above their law enforcement duties when assigned to train a new officer. In addition to performing in an exemplary manner, while trainees closely watch, FTOs must slow their pace to review the purpose and detail of every new encounter. FTOs must guide trainees through a comprehensive curriculum that requires the blending of knowledge and skills, and the good judgement of when, where, and how to apply them. Human Resources Human Resources staff are tasked with processing applications, conducting interviews, and maintaining personnel data (important dates, disciplinary action logs, patrol activity). Internal Affairs Internal Affairs is a division of the that investigates and makes decisions on cases brought forward by the public regarding the conduct, actions, policy, procedure, practice, philosophy, service or legal standard of the department or an employee thereof.

So... We're about two months behind the "definite" release date of Town Square now. I'm not one to complain at this stuff as I understand game development can take longer than expected when you really want to perfect something. However, the Town Square is essentially a beta module, so really it doesn't need to be perfect before it can be released, that said I'm really looking forward to actually getting in to see what the game looks and feels like, and how the interactions work. My biggest worry with Asylum right now, is not their failure to meet their own deadlines, but it's the complete lack of official communication. I've posted numerous times now that Asylum need to be more engaging with their community; there's nothing being released on their own official website about... well, anything. - The last announcement was April 20th. - The last dev-blog was a month ago. - The last stream was 3 days ago (quite recent, but before that, it was a month... and there's only 5 videos total on their YouTube channel). - The twitch account doesn't seem to have any real content aside from watching someone design a singular object with someone talking over it... and while it's cool to see some things being made by professionals, I really don't get why objects like this are still being made when the module is two months behind its definite release date... surely a deck-chair or lamp or whatever can wait. That's purely aesthetic extras which shouldn't be holding up development at all. - The last I heard was the TS module will be released when the new website goes live at the end of April / start of May, but still no website or any further update on that front. So what gives? Why is there an absolute void between Asylum and their own community? Either I'm missing critical information channels here that are filling these voids, or there's a massive void where there should be a huge flow of information two months past their own deadline. It really shouldn't be too difficult with a Community Manager to simply put out a quick update article every week detailing what's happening, why there are delays, what the team is working on, where the game's direction is heading etc... you know, simply engage with your community. I used to have a huge presence in Halo 3's Forge on a community site called Forge Hub, and we released several article pieces weekly... it isn't that difficult, and the staff members back then did it all for free. One article every three months is NOT keeping a community informed, and currently a lot of this community aren't just community members, they've paid in advance for this game and need to be treated like customers... and you shouldn't be misinforming and keeping your customers in the dark. EDIT: This isn't a topic to discuss the deadline, or why development is slow... it is to discuss the lack of communication, and why the communications put out there are all scattered across several different media outlets, as opposed to being uniform and on their own website.

It would seem that didn't help... lol. Beach_Ball is the Community Manager. He's doing a lot of stuff behind the scenes which is expected at the moment. He actually only took a couple of days to reach out to me regarding my concerns after I was speaking with Lucky, so if you really want some "official" answers on this, drop Beach a message with your concern and let him explain what's happening. Though, the point I was trying to make is; they're aware there's still a void in communications. They're looking to resolve the communication breakdown after Town Square is released.

Yet, only TS part of the map is done, and making a map is just making a scene, idk what u trying to say here. seems like lot of peoples trying to defend this project don't even know what they talking about
  17. 1 point
Not exactly answer for that. FYI i watching a lot of their streams but i never can find answers for simple questions like "u said we can order a food in karaoke bar, and in previous stream u said eating gives u some bonuses, is that working in TS, what thoes bonuses are" etc. On last stream they literary not answer any question until minute 15, next question at minute 25. they keep talking about everything and anything with themselves not even trying to engage with community or talk about what they working on in terms of TS release, watching these guys working on some art is boring itself because its raw modeling, just creating shape of something. I don't really know whats purpose of these devs stream since they not providing any info or "we already answer this, let me send a link to that record". I don't think we need more empty words about features that not going to be in game for another months or years, i personaly like to get there answers for questions wasn't answered before, some recaps from what they already working on, whats going to be next in queue to TS module etc. Yet nothing of things i point out is done, not even dev blog is done, idk what actually community manager doing in asylum, he is not here on the forum on daily basis no answer all of these, not working on dev blog any kind of similar content, dev streams are just "im gonna seat here and wait for question we already answer"
  18. 1 point
Oh yeah, I completely agree with that. I think they should say what the tasks are and what their working on with that task, like you said.
  19. 1 point
Which is more the point i'm getting to, you don't need to render anything out to communicate what the remaining tasks are in a little more detail. Just giving a name and brief description of remaining tasks wouldn't take a large swab of time and that seems to be where most of the underlying concern stems from. 3 unnamed tasks sitting in Testing for weeks. What are they for? How much of the game do they impact? That alone would help the community to tweak expectations so they better align with what's left to be done. The live streams are great for people with time to check in on them, and the re-posts Beach_Ball has been doing are also a welcomed addition, however for those in the community that just want to drop in and quickly do a 10sec check on how things are going during a lunch break, watching a full video etc isn't always possible. I watched a doco on the guys that developed Warframe recently and it was an eye opener into just how critical it can be to stay connected with what the community are looking for from the game studio so posts like the one created here by @Atmospherecan provide a good honest insight into this stuff.

And also if they find a bug they have to find out how to fix it, re-do everything, look for more bugs because fixing bugs could lead to more bugs. It doesn't take an hour to do that.
  21. 1 point
but also does it really take that long for 3 tasks to be in testing feels like they are hiding something????

They do development live streams every Tuesday and Thursday at https://twitch.tv/identityrpg. And for all the people complaining about no information, just scroll through this:

  24. 1 point
Sure but in another way, it slows developers down because they have to render it and get it setup enough to render. If they get community manger to do frequent live streams during there developing, that would awesome. I am sure they want to keep some stuff faded to make a surprise, it won't be fun if we know everything by release.

My views are both Conservative and Liberal, in real life I consider myself an Independent because I have views on both sides of the spectrum. However, to answer your question, IF I WASN’T A CANDIDATE OR PARTY FOUNDER I would grant my support to The Hamilton Party, Joel Keys and The CCU. I am always willing to work with others, that is a pillar of my character and why this topic has elevated to its current stature. Would I ever back out of the race? No, but I find it wise of the Identity community to have more collective support towards one individual or party, such as myself. I’ve always been a fan of DEMOCRATIC monarchy and looking at CCU...I like them to an extent!

What will give players the incentive to become "informants" though? I can imagine MAYBE if all their wealth, real estate, and cars were at steak, maybe, but even then who's not willing to serve 45 minutes in jail? I guess maybe the private servers might add life sentences, basically ending any chance your character can do anything unless they flip. If there was actual purpose to giving info away to the FBI, that would be really intriguing.

A long while ago i got excited hearing about this game. I been around Arma 2/3 Life Mods or RP communities and that is where Asylum is coming from as well. I haven't said that much throughout the course of the time, I think once i finally asked questions regarding some sort of an update what is going on the development side. Asylum needs to start getting their stuff together and be more in sync with the community. I seen tons of posts with responses such as "Development takes time", "They have a small team" And even then i still waited patiently. However after watching few videos witch character creation and game play or rather so-called game play i realized for a term of 3 years, including some hicups they had not that match has been done. I mean they do have dedicated artists and coders. Now before someone shouts back and says that i have no idea what i am talking about let me share this with you. I started screwing around with Unreal Engine and Unity, And honestly in a month of time you can get a similar content they have been showing us. Sure you can get a nice working map, invest into few assets such us day/night cycle with full weather, You can't even get a AAA Locomotion System for Unreal Enginethat is truly amazing for character movement and tons better of what we seen in the recent game play streams. Let's be serious, the content shown to use is definitely not something that would take years to develop, We are seeing character movement, character creation and buildings that are decorated and almost no functionality introduced. You can search on you tube and find people decorating a map in 4 hours with stunning results... See this Speed Level Design done all in Unreal 4. The real question is are we being told the truth because i am starting to feel like i am not being told the whole truth. I rather hear the painful truth than sweet lies and that everything is pronto.

Hasn't changed visually in 1 week**** Another way to have a question answered is going on the discord and asking Beach_Ball. I answered and corrected some of the things you pointed out. I don't have answers to everything as I know as much as you on some things. I have also conveyed over certain points another member gave/ suggested which are the same as yours. I too would love more info, but also I can't answer everything as you can see because I am a Moderator and can only tell you what I get told. I can only say, if I get answers for anything then I can give you some answers but until then, I will answer what i can to help. I read and understood everything on your post and yes, Beach_Ball already gave the answer that we are waiting on the Payment Provider for theirs side of things in which they have a few problems to deal with causing the delay for everyone. That is the truth and well if you choose to believe it or not is down to you.

Thank you. You’re the only person to see this point of this post is about communication and not about crying about progress. Props to you, sir/miss.

You realize you can't just use the forums as an excuse to go after someone right? It's called metagaming. Perhaps you've heard of it. If you want to have a valid excuse to go after this organization, prove it when Identity comes out. Not on here. and the hell is wrong with having a short nickname? I prefer to be called Vinny, not sure why that's any concern.

¿ “an organization that as of this moment, has done absolutely nothing wrong” ? Really? Ok, let’s see... Post nº 1 (08/16/16) The Luprano crime Family. The family is involved in a vast array of criminal activities that include: extortion, loansharking, book making, fraud, kidnapping, drugs, illegal weapons, contract killing, robberies & much more. Hey, I have on more question. Vinny is a diminutive... Why? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Isn’t that what capos and street bosses are for? So they can divide them into smaller groups.

I'm not going to put Mr Thatcher on the spot, and he doesn't need to choose a side but he might depending on what happens in the future.

And by the way Mr. Santarelli, how do you know I won't be able to be in the commision? The capo Di tutti capi will decide who is in the commission and that may possibly be me, depending on who has the most powerful family. Im sure the other families will agree with me.

I don't mind constructive critizism, and am a level headed guy for the most part (as the don should be, even in a video game.) However, you could have messaged me with the critizism islnstead of posting it right here, possibly making me look bad.
