4 pointsAnother typical whinger who has no argument or anything constructive to say other than "devs r lazy dur de he hur" ?? probably friends with ecorp or something.

3 pointsPut your dummy back in your ass mate. Development is going well and the developers are doing really well so quit your bitching or take your refund and go buy some paitence.

3 pointsOkay so looking at this post I can see that your argument is full of flaws. - 2.5 years for 33% of the game isn't exactly correct, you are saying that every module is the same size(which they are not). The first module is the largest since it is the foundation of the game, it includes all the main mechanics. and even if they were the same amount of work they would be over the 33% since half the development team is working on the other module. - The graphics are great if you think about the fact its made by a small team. The time it took to make the game though cant be an argument here seeing that they have had to rewrite their code. - Far Cry 5 is not a comparison you can make with Identity. first of all the team behind Far Cry 5 is quite large unlike Identity. Secondly comparing graphics is like comparing apples and oranges, there are many different styles of graphics and even though Far Cry looks quite realistic it doesn't have the steam coming out of the grates like Identity does, there are many different details in Identity that Far Cry doesn't have. - Your last point is sketchy as well, we don't know anything at the moment as you stated, sure Identity might take some time to release but as I said before, the first module is probably the biggest as it is the foundation of the game, you cant compare one module with the whole game. If you really don't support the game then don't, just get a refund, but there is no point of posting this in the forum. This forum is mostly used to ask questions, not to share your opinion.

3 pointsIt would be unfair to say the developers are lazy because unlike the developers of Far Cry, Asylum has a smaller team and does not have a base model to build upon as what they are trying to produce will be ground breaking in it self. Think about this: if the team was to put out an unpolished result and try to refine it while users are testing, we all would be complaining that it is garbage which will result in the project crashing before it has a chance to change the gaming arena. 2015 until now may be a very long time to be waiting given the build up of anticipation and I would think asylum knows this and are trying to speedily get the ball rolling. I can be very impatient at times but if asylum completes what I envision this game to be then it will be well worth it.

2 pointsHi oasixm, no ETA for our first playable module - it will be out as soon as the remaining tasks are completed and after Steam has approved the final build. You can take a look at the progress right here: https://www.identityrpg.com/info/modules/townsquare/#tracker Cheers, Cayn

1 pointI know that the Racing module is very far away, out of questions at the moment, but I consider the sounds of vehicles (especially their engine) are extremely important in terms of gameplay. Will vehicles features different sounds and/or feature recording from actually vehicles? One of the things I want to look forward too is being a police vehicle (hopefully crown Vic) and speed up forcefully going to an emergency call. I’m looking for that amazing sounds of the deep trembling noise of the engine! I’m not a car guy but the engine sounds in GTA sound mosty disappointing and meh.

1 pointI have never seen more lazy developers than Asylum. It has taken them 2,5 years to make 33 percent of this game. I have seen several clips from the game, and it's really not that good if you think about the time that it has taken for them to make it. I really want to refund it. Take a look at Far Cry 5 for an instance. The Graphics in Far Cry 5 are better than identity's will ever be. And if you think for a second, you will know that identity's full game probably first comes out in like 2023 compared to the time it has taken identity just to make the town square that isn't even finished yet.

1 pointInitially a struggling portrait artist, D. Marlboro began his career capturing the character of Ash Hill’s most lively citizens. Rarely getting paid for the pleasure however, he reluctantly turned his hand to forging fine art. His attention to detail and undeniable natural ability quickly made him successful and with this success came money, more money than he had ever dreamed of making as an artist. With the money however came pressure, pressure to churn out forgeries, pressure to perform, pressure to undertake more lucrative cons like counterfeiting…his small cosy studio quickly became more and more like a sweatshop with deadlines, backlogs, angry (and dangerous) customers. Coping poorly, and as many of the creatively inclined do, he turned to the bottle, and then, to various other…substances. This dependency quickly overtook him, driving him further from the artistic expression he cherished and pursued initially and culminated in a severe case of writer’s block. Unable to summon the energy to meticulously scour over and reproduce the more popular workings of the grand masters, his debt began to mount exponentially and it quickly became obvious something needed to be done. Being all too aware of the value of art (real and fake)and with his contacts in both the artistic community and black-market he figured he could flip an original painting or two for a tidy profit, pay off his debt and escape the criminals he had inadvertently fallen in with. The challenge however was doing this without any capital. A cheap plastic party mask and an old, rusted unreliable shotgun later he had pulled off what the press described as a ‘strong arm robbery’ but in reality was much more like a hectic smash and grab. Regardless, a new bug had bitten; he no longer craved the chemical highs but the massive and natural adrenaline rush which comes post heist. The arm full of paintings he had secured from his first job where enough to cover his debt and buy his freedom. Finally free but with only a couple thousand dollars to his name he retired the old shotgun replacing it with a much more manageable and reliable .45 pistol, replaced his plastic party mask with a non-descript black ski mask and began planning his next hit. It wasn’t long before the target of his heists became irrelevant and he branched out from galleries into local shops and businesses and eventually into the realm of banks and the ever more challenging stash houses of drug dealers and criminals who had harassed and threatened him in the not so distant past… Thoughts, feedback appriciated!

1 pointNot sure if it's in any of the FAQs, but it has been mentioned multiple times over the past few years. So I am certain though.
-
1 pointYes and no, Assault rifle's will be available however they will be super rare/ expensive, they will still be available to citizens.... There won't be any sniper rifles indeed and pistols will be more common than any bigger weapon. There will also be shotguns as well too. There will not be High powered rifles. However, Assault rifle's will be available but rare

1 pointThey haven't only been working on the Town Square all this time. If they had, your argument would have some weight. The development of groundbreaking games takes considerable time. The Town Square is taking longer than I hoped, but that is because they are only putting a few of their developers on the task. The other developers are working on other aspects of the game so that when the modules are done there will be considerable progress completed on the rest of the game. If you want a refund, take it; but I would wait at least till the end of the month for Town Square.

1 pointYou're not going to be seeing a massive variety of guns. Citizens will have access to a standard pistol for self defense, a hunting rifle for hunting and that's about it. SWAT on the other hand will have access to mp5's and more serious gear but that's it. There won't be full on assault rifles for everyday people and there won't be sniper rifles

1 pointWhen your sentence is over, you'll have the option to stay in prison, rather than getting released. I for one am planning on having one of my three characters in prison, full time.
-
1 pointi'd like to see the new MSBS rifle for counter terrorists, but they will probably run around with mp5's, for balance. Maybe rifles like M416, G36C, Famas, MSBS etc. will be avaliable for police if bank robbers or some other bandits will be confirmed to have heavy weaponary, if not - just mp5's and other machine guns like UMP.
-
1 pointI think I'll have the most fun with module 3, being able to try out my sports car.

1 pointThis is unreadable. Please consider calming down and re-writing this post.
-
1 pointNo they shouldn’t, you should have to be in game for your time to count. Others that’d never dumb and people would just log.
-
1 pointI personally think 45 minutes is too short for the maximum time, I think maybe some where around 2 hours is a good max. I’m sure the devs will consider changing it in the future.
