Identity should add elements to the game to bring in the players that enjoy grinding/leveling without compromising their existing strategy. Imagine if one day a week you could put on a shirt (perhaps limited to your apartment) that would show off your best level in a design that looked great but had a number incorporated with a graphic that represents that skill. Imagine if you are an Identity gang member and in your hangout you could select a progressive sleeve tattoo that starts small at the wrist at level one and hits your shoulder at 99. The design would be unique and readily recognized as a leveling tattoo for gang related activity. Imagine a store owner being allowed to display a picture on one wall that represented a commerce related achievement in units sold or monetary totals. This kind of soft leveling reward system wouldn't punish new players that come on board later and would attract the numerous people that want games with leveling options. Little or no game benefits, just pride in developing the skill.

Even with a stock market API it would take a whole bunch of work translating that to Identity's economy. And that per server, seeing there should be variations on the number of players on the server, combined with the influence of the "real" stock market. I like the idea, don't get me wrong, but I highly doubt this will ever be an option, even in future updates. Besides, if I'm not mistaken there won't be a stock market exchange in Identity at all.

I'm happy to see you guys enjoyed the stream. It was a lot of fun for us to finally show it off. To answer a couple of the concerns above, all of the buildings are enterable with full interiors. This had to be a short stream because we started an hour late and it was only supposed to be 10 minutes long to start. We'll show more! I do agree that the player animation needs more work. They're improved, but we're still working to replace the animations for the mid-speed jog. The slower walk and sprint are pretty good, I think. I'd also like to implement more interaction animations. We do actually have some done already that just need "plugged in." As for visibly carrying items, you're thinking of weapons. Weapons will be visible on your character and some items can also be held in your hands. There's no feasible way to show all items on your character, though.

Greetings everyone, Today I'd like to update you guys on some progress for Identity. Below, you will find new pictures that haven't been shown to the public eye yet. We know you are waiting so eagerly to play, but please remember everything takes time. Thanks to everyone who has shown the developers support thus far!

Pancho Villa Riders About Us Fransico "Pancho" Villa was born June 5, 1878, in La Coyotada, Mexico. He was a Mexican Revolutionary general and one of the most prominent figures of the Mexican Revolution. In the late 1970s, my father Emilio Piñón was born in La Coyotada, Mexico. My father at sixteen was working for the Mexican Armed Forces. For four years up until my birth, my father worked hard for them and he learned the story of Fransico Villa. My father an inspired man, with a troubled history with Mexico's toughest cartels, decided to start a motorcycle club and move his newborn son and two daughters to Tucson, Arizona. By this time I was only two years old still a baby. All my life I knew my father was a president of an MC. At the age fourteen, I watched father get gunned down by Viagras, Mexico hardest cartel. My father's best friend, Bruno Correa, took over the MC, but when I turned eighteen Bruno handed the MC over to me the rightful heir as president. My first order as president was to move to a remote island, which we did. For two years we have been on this island working hard, expanding connections, and doing what we do best, run the island. As of recently though we are now under a mafia The Narco Family, a family that my father and I have known for years. There will not be seasons as in "Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn". But there will be seasons as in Christmas and other different seasonal holidays.

Instead of doing the redguards which was literally supported by Mao you could've done the Red Warriors, a French 1980s anti-fascist street gang. Dude you are literally a communist and will get pummeled by every single one of my brothers.

Nice idea for a fictional terrorist group, only I have some concerns about the applicability. Bombings - I am not sure if this will be part of Identity, as bombs would require a higher level of law enforcement. Capitalist Targeting - All fun and games until they ban you from their businesses. Stealing Weapons - I do not believe stealing law enforcement weapons are going to be a game mechanic. Parliament - This is America, no parliaments here to storm. Also, I'm afraid the current game plan won't have a legislative group only a mayor, which is disappointing. Other than that, can't wait to run into you guys on the streets. Good luck.

I've had a couple of logos asked from here. I've made a website (https://tinyurl.com/y8pmwzqw) to do something with in the future. I've started a Flickr album for my logos (https://flic.kr/s/aHskC8eC1U). Feel free to check them out. Again, I do this for free. No money exchange required!

I just saw the video (a little late lol) but I am blown away. I can't describe it right now I've waited for this so long words fail me. What are your reactions? -Diddly

It certainly wasn't amateur and was more than acceptable graphically, well for me anyway. I didnt think it looked 'bad'. As for the character I actually thought it looked much better than the policeman in the previous video where he makes an arrest.

I'm just happy it's finally out almost, now we can all rest knowing they've got something solid to show us and I have to say it's pretty damn good, some things are still placeholders like the movement etc but this is the foundation of identity and all things need time to be improved. With that said, FUCKING WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I FEEL GOOD ??

I can’t wait for this. I have been waiting for a long time, just tonight I was finally able to scrape the $60 together to pledge. I don’t care if I’m broke now, it went to a good cause.

I too would say karaoke, if not for my crippling social shyness/possible anxiety. I personally can't wait to own a little café or start my own designer line! I'm hoping to be able to start a cutesy, pastel theme for furniture, clothing, and other items! Or, just more colorful items in general! I guess I'll decide in the game which is more profitable. I'd probably end up starting a design line, as relying solely on RPers for income wouldn't be very reliable.

This 'hard man' just joined our Discord and declared war on us! Firstly he doesn't even know the first thing about us and our motives. Then he has the audacity to say that he will declare himself an enemy of any criminal organisation, and to that I wish him and his 'army' good luck. After asking him several times how many men he had, he refused to give me a number or even a range and instead said, "Enough", "you cant even count that high" and the most professional of all, "". The Yakuza aren't exactly the most admirable people in terms of fighting crime seeing that they're "members of transitional organised crime syndicates". Their own people call them "violent groups", so his idea of peace is at best delusional. I suggest that if he wants to take on the rather ambitious goal of calling himself the, 'Yakuza', that he does research into it first and find out who and what responsibilities he's taking on. Nevertheless his hyperaggressive entrance on our Discord made him the subject to jokes and laughter, of which, will not be forgotten!

These are very interesting questions, indeed. Yes, you can sell/buy books and you will make/lose in-game currency by doing so. In Town Square, no. They are planning to have this in the final game, however. Yes! You will be able to store them in bookshelves and see then displayed! As of yet, I am unsure if you can physically "hold" them, but I would say you probably can! Nobody has asked about blogs yet. They are planning to include paid journalism, but as of yet this will not happen. Like I said above, you can make money from selling books! In my personal opinion, however, it would be super hard to have a career as a writer, but I'm not sure on that one.

The thing to remember here is this isn't GTA, in fact it's GTA 10x better. In Grand theft auto you can only play the criminal and when cops arrive they instantly go to kill, the cops in identity won't do that, they'll only be allowed to use lethal force if you attempt to kill them or injure them using extreme force. Secondly you'll be able to do near enough anything such as get a job or a career ( difference is jobs get easy money but not a good source of income whereas careers are full time and bring much more money in ), own your own business or brand and sell clothing or just about anything else possibly. You'll be able to go fishing and farming and even cook meth or other drugs and distribute or use them for your own recreational purposes etc. This game will be nothing like GTA, it'll make GTA look like a playground compared to identity and because of the RP aspect you'll be able to do whatever you want in peace of mind knowing that 99.9% of the time you won't be disturbed by other players unless you come across some chancer who thinks it is GTA and wants to go try and mug every person he comes across. ( In my personal opinion I don't think young people should be allowed to play this and should be restricted to an 18+ game, after all it's based on real life and I don't want COD kiddies coming in like it's day one of a new cod game ). That said I'm looking absolutely forward with full excitement for identity and I couldn't be more excited as each day goes by and the task tracker is completed more and more, so everyone so tight and enjoy the ride, because it's coming sooner than we think and it'll be worth the wait. Thanks for reading.

My goal is to definitely join the police i have worked my whole life to join. i really want to help out civilians and i get my satisfaction from doing my duty daily i want to make sure the streets are clean and there are not criminal activities or crime syndicates operating on our island and if there is i will try my best to stop them by even putting my life on the line for my country as this is my dream job.

I'm not entirely sure yet what i'd role play as in Identity because I legit only discovered it, hours ago. though it sounds like everything I have been waiting for and everything the big gunners just won't make. I'm excited to put money toward the game next pay day for sure. In theory, depending in the games mechanics. I think I wouldn't mind being an artist, struggling or otherwise. It's something that could be fun and have the characters wealth actually depend on other people players. Having other interests like singing would be super fun, what with a karaoke bar. She'd be in her mid to late thirties for sure. I don't know what race she'll be, or how she'll look. Though honestly if we can make our characters fat... I might give that a go. Heck, the ability to lose and gain weight as, boring as it might be... To me, would be cool. So. Female, artist, mid to late 20's. Enjoys singing, may or may not be dirt poor. Perhaps I'll do up a character sheet for her! Someone previous mentioned they'd be an investor (if I read them right) ... Should we cross servers I might take them up in character.
