It's amusing to me how much people wanted me to jump. You can jump, but I just never even thought to do it given that I was running on a flat surface the entire time. Once I turned off the PC and walked out into the main work room I heard about the jump spam requests!

I'm happy to see you guys enjoyed the stream. It was a lot of fun for us to finally show it off. To answer a couple of the concerns above, all of the buildings are enterable with full interiors. This had to be a short stream because we started an hour late and it was only supposed to be 10 minutes long to start. We'll show more! I do agree that the player animation needs more work. They're improved, but we're still working to replace the animations for the mid-speed jog. The slower walk and sprint are pretty good, I think. I'd also like to implement more interaction animations. We do actually have some done already that just need "plugged in." As for visibly carrying items, you're thinking of weapons. Weapons will be visible on your character and some items can also be held in your hands. There's no feasible way to show all items on your character, though.

I was quite impressed with the town square. Obviously there were some bugs with the clothing and I think the shaders need work but the graphics were pretty solid especially for a what is basically a pre-alpha build . Some people are disappointed but I didn't expect it to be polished. Maybe im more impressed because i've only been waiting around a year, not 3. But overall, it was larger than I expected compare to the concept art and it exceeded what I was expecting. Looks like a solid foundation to build the game on. Great work devs even if it did need to be pushed back

Just a quick post to say my opinion has changed now since the gameplay stream, anyone else more positive?

Looked fantastic, really glad to finally see it. I'd assume that the reason the Dev's ignored chat for the most part was to stop the stream getting derailed and sidetracked which IMO was probably purely necessary... I hope that the gameplay and future content quells some of the doubters and reassures anyone on the fence. The content looked incredible and detailed. The graffiti leak, in addition to all the other stuff, chess, movies, tattoos, etc for instance just highlights the level of attention the Dev's have and justifies the development time/delays IMO. Can't wait for release. Any chance you wanna give me Dev access in the meantime ?? Seriously outstanding work...

From this day to the ending of the world, but we in it shall be remember'd; We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; For he to-day that sheds his blood with me shall be my brother. IDENTITY WIKI INFORMATION ON APACHES MOTORCYCLE CLUB BIO: Apaches MC is a motorcycle club founded in Chicago, Illinois. The whole foundation is said to begun in the late 60's like many other clubs, It is said that the founders were members of the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion which saw many combat missions during 1966. Following their return home, the men sought after the brotherhood in the war, they found common interests which was drinking, girls and riding harleys. The small group looked for ways to sustain their new lifestyle. In the beginning, it was small white collar crimes, but with the expansion of the club, came dirtier jobs and bigger payouts. After a few months of gradually moving into the narcotic and weapon scene, the club started to get more and more comfortable with the easy money, and started opening up new chapters all over the north east and south western United States. The founder of Apaches MC, is Sergeant first class James Carter who was drafted into the Vietnam war in early 1965. He spent two tours fighting in operation Kansas and operation Washington in 1966 and later fought in 1967. Upon returning home in 1968, he founded Apache's Motorcycle Club in his home town of northern Chicago, with his closest tight nit group of friends from his squad. Later in 1970, a new chapter of Apache's was born in the eastern side of Chicago, both were very feared chapters who partied and lived together on a daily basis. The Apaches MC are well known to be vicious when fighting, like that of their Native American counterpart. A well known story of that is between a rival club the Chicago Horsemen MC in the mid 1970's, where several Apache's set up a string of tire wire across the road efficiently killing two oncoming rival club members. The remaining Horsemen ended up crashing, and were succumb to Apaches waiting on the side with bats and wrenches, and they were ultimately beaten to death. The Apaches MC is only known to the majority of the public, as being bunch of Harley enthusiasts. To the law enforcement and other criminal organizations they are known as the most ruthless gangs to still live in today's society. They have three main goals, money, power and turf. Joining the Apaches isn't easy, they are small, and ultra secretive, about 300-400 strong, spread across 6 states, this ruthless gang doesn't warm up to outsiders. Recently opening up a chapter in Roseport, the motorcycle club intends on taking over Identity. Bylaws: - Respect other members, and their families, if someone asks for help then help them, we are all family. - Members call each other ' brother '. - No woman can be patched in, they can only be a members 'old lady' - Do your best to attend our weekly main church, if you cannot, give us your proxy vote. It will be brought up to the whole club and the whole club will participate in anything that is decided upon. - The club will always stay together on rides, runs, parties, field meets etc. and will not fraternize with club's rival clubs. - Each patch holder/prospect is required to maintain a valid motor vehicle license, which includes the authorization to operate motorcycle. - Absolutely no talking about Club business to persons outside the Club. No talking about Club business over any telephone. - Prospects will watch all bikes when members are at Club functions, in bars, and anywhere the senior member present deems necessary. - First offense of you missing three (3) meetings in a row, you get stripped of your rank to vote, second offense mandatory duty (6 in a row), third offense (9 in a row) you're out of the club. - Orange and Black are the official colors of the club - Members will be known by their 'club name' (street name) when talking and doing business with citizens and other gang members, but when interacting with the law, use their real name, so its hard to link them to crimes. Hello, new to the community today. I can do logos for free, but my style is uncomplicated and elegant. I used to do work as a professional graphic designer, and I work with Illustrator and vector images. Vector means that you can make the logo any size, from as small as a pinhead to as large as a billboard, and the lines will always be crisp. Let me know if I can help!

This is the American Mafia recruiting page The American Mafia is divided into six ranks Ranks Leader The leader will make some of the big decisions, and will perform the initiation for all new members. Also, he will choose who is in the other ranks. Co-Leader The Co-Leader will manage the jobs we perform. Examples of these are Bank heists, truck robberies, robberies, etc. Also, they'll be able to order hits on people, but he must get the hit authorized by the leader before doing so. Also, he'll make some big decisions also. Generals The Generals will give the Soldiers and sometimes the Recruits orders, and or tasks to perform to show their loyalty to the organization. The generals will also be given a special duty that’s specific to each individual one. These duties will be Production Manager, Security, and Head of Smuggling. Soldiers The Soldiers will train the recruits. An example of this is taking them to do daily mafia activities, a robbery, or maybe picking up a cash drop. Recruits The Recruits are the lowest rank within the mafia, they will be on a one week trial period. The trial period is when the soldiers will train the new recruits, weed out the rats, and execute those who are untrustworthy. Associates The Associates are people who don't want to join the mafia, but want to work with it. The associates will be our suppliers, delivery men, money launderers, etc. Rules No Stealing If you steal we'll know because we keep record of all of our assets. If you are caught stealing, we will have a ceremony where you will be executed/made an example in front of everyone in the mafia. Uniform The Uniform consists of a black suit, black dress shoes, a red undershirt(If compatible with suit),and a fedora(The fedora is optional). You MUST wear the uniform at all times, If you are seen not wearing the uniform you will be kicked out of the mafia. Cars/Vehicles All mafia vehicle's main color is black, and the windows are tinted as black as legally possible. Racism/Sexism We are fine with racist/sexist jokes, but if we feel you are truly racist or sexist you will be executed. Ranks If a person that is a higher rank than you gives you an order you must follow it or you will be executed. If you feel that the order was outrageous, then talk to the leader. You may be understood, and not executed. Initiation Process Recruitment If you wish to join the American Mafia, them PM me. Initiation Ceremony The initiation ceremony will only be performed once a week for those few Recruits that made it through training. The ceremony will not be performed for those who joined before the games release. The Future Future Goals We would like to eventually disguise ourselves as real-estate owners of nightclubs, hotels, etc. Ranking Up You can rank up by bringing in money and spending time with the mafia, you can rank up this way for all of the ranks. Also, you will be ranked up when the leader sees fit. Discord Message me for an Invite.

Loved the stream....eventually haha. Off topic a bit but in the final game release will there be like hideouts around the map, like secret caves/areas for maybe getting away from the cops?
  15. 1 point
The thing about th tracker is that they never work on weekends. So we have 3 unexcused days. However, we still have the rest of today, so technically two days. The stream took up one of the days, so we only have one day that was not treated properly. He's done that before, so really, it's not as bad as it seems.

Was kinda upset, because I really wanted to see a reveal of Star Field this year. Also Fallout 4 was eh to me, so I’d rather get a new ES. I don’t want back to back Fallout releases. Hopefully it’s just like Fallout 3 remastered or a mobile game. That way I can still be hopeful for a Star Field announcement at E3.

TS is way more than 80% done, it’s just that 80% of the remaining tasks are done. I don’t know why you’re always such a little whiner here, it’s honestly so annoying. Yesterday we got an amazing livestream reveal of TS, but you’re still here b*tchig like usual.

Welcome to the community! Tbh, was going to help you with your English when I first saw the post then I realize your an English teacher xD. Amazing! I love to see Americans going to other parts of the world not just for vacation. You learn a lot about other people's culture and their living standards compare to yours. Anyway, have fun and your graphic design work might come in need for those starting a company or criminal family.

I tuned in at the last hour or so of the stream, then went to eat and came back in time for the gameplay preview. I haven't been waiting as long as others, I check the task list every day or every other day but the gameplay preview was worth the watch. I know it was late for majority of people as the stream had started before I watched, but I was hoping for a little bit more of a preview (but I am glad there was one). The graphics looked amazing and the level of detail put into certain visuals was really neat as well. The interactions that this game will allow, for example the small fan being turned on and hearing it while it was on, will be really great for people who Role-Play and stream their Role-Plays. All in all, I am satisfied and cannot wait!

It looked really nice, I'm definitely excited. I don't want to be picky but I suppose if you were to force me to be critical I would say the player movement animations could be further improved to become even more realistic/natural. Of course it would also be great if character animations could be added for all the object interactions that the player can engage in. For example when picking up a newspaper it would be great if the character would actually go through the motions of putting in a coin, opening up the stand, and taking out a paper. Also I could be wrong but I thought the devs previously said that inventory items would actually be visible on the player but in the video it seemed like the player would just pick up items and they would magically be added to him without him having to actually carry them. This game has a ton of potential, it could really end up being one of the greatest games of all times. I really hope the devs continue working on the game even after release and keep adding in more features, activities, jobs, concepts, etc in the future.

I don’t think comparing GTA and Identity is a good comparison. GTA is more of a sandbox open world for going around killing people and blowing shit up. Where identity focuses way more on player v player interactions and RP.

Whilst I am in no hurry and happy to wait I have to say that I have to agree with Dazerbake. The task bar is a good concept but it is pretty much pointless if all they are doing is adding to it. Its a false sense of progression. All they are doing is replacing old ones with new ones. I have patience to wait for the TS release and have no issues there, but I am beginning to wonder if it ever will be released. Its almost like we see the light at the end of the tunnel, then it goes again. With kickstarter projects I only ever pledge when I can afford to lose so if things dont work out I dont feel to bitter about it, but at the same time I dont like being taken for a fool. I hope this is not the case here. On a side note, I dont understand why we havent seen any actual gameplay yet. I know I know, they are meant to be showing it at some point but surely they have some. It seems a bit odd how we are meant to be so close to the module release and even from promoting the game stand point this would be of such a benefit. My faith is slowly dwindling and I am beginning to wonder about the whole thing. I hope I am wrong.

Step inside my office! We're in the home stretch, now. The Town Square module is almost ready to go, and now you can follow the Asylum developers as we approach the release. Exactly two weeks ago we launched the new Identity Task Tracker; check out that link, or click the big green button on the Identity website. The task tracker shows you our progress from the point of release a couple of weeks ago until now, and we update every weekday. This tracker displays the data right out of our own project management software that we use to drive and organize the developers inside the studio. All tasks on the tracker are those that remained as of two weeks ago up to the point we consider the Town Square module to be ready for release. These are not all of the tasks we've done (there've been thousands), but just the ones remaining. I'm pretty proud of the progress our guys are making each day. It's only been a couple of weeks but you'll see the majority of those tasks are marked completed! It's really amazing what a team of this size can do when it has such talent. Keep your eye on the tracker; when our important tasks there are done it's time for a Steam release! We're all extremely excited over here. Town Square barber shop interior, work in progress The World Wide Wait An all new Identity website is very, very close to release. In fact, it's so close that we're only waiting on a technology partner to finalize their end of things. Our new website enhances the style of our existing site but is focused far more on improved functionality. A very robust new account system is in place to help you get in the game, and our new shop has some other big requested features! Finally, you'll be able to pay with dozens of methods (PayPal, credit cards, PaySafe and more) and even gift purchases to your friends. With the release of the new website also comes the return of the Identity Insider. The Insider will be a monthly detailed addition to the website, containing all sorts of information you may not have heard before and diving deep into a specific Identity gameplay topic. Our current pledge packages will remain on the website for only one week after the new website launches. After that, many of those rewards will never be sold again and those which are will be a bit more expensive as we prepare for retail pricing. Now's the time to join in the support of Identity's development if you have been on the fence! A look inside the Asylum Everyone at Asylum has been working like crazy. The poor guys are in overdrive and won't be slowing down anytime soon. In fact, just this last week we hired four new programmers to join the team, more than doubling the programmer team size, to ensure that we can get content to you faster. I've myself continued to put a lot of development hours in when I'm not busy with business stuff. I've added some interesting things in the last weeks including substance use and effects. You won't need to spend your time in the Town Square digitally sober! Mark, our graphic designer, has been taking his excellent art into the game engine with the creation of wallpapers for homes as well as a bunch of clothing options. I hoped to have a couple dozen cool wall options available to start with the Town Square release. When I looked over his shoulder today it was somewhere around 300. Wow, I can't even imagine the options when crafting decorations is introduced on top of that. We're pretty much ready to go on the art side of things. Those who follow us on Twitch will have seen Jade/Lee has finished will all of the housing floorplans and the final touches are being done to integrate them into the game today. A lot of our floorplans are based on pop-culture; see if you can identify them. You'll have the chance to walk through them in the Town Square to help with your home-buying decisions. Keep an eye on our Twitch streams! We're going to be showing some cool stuff quite soon. It's been a long wait for the Town Square release, but the wait is almost over. The Twitch Clips If you've been following Identity's development closely, you probably already know that developers stream their work live on the Identity Twitch channel every Tuesday and Thursday. We also use that time to answer almost every question that gets asked about Identity's development and gameplay. Now that we've been doing this a while, we've answered a lot of questions. Our awesome community manager, BeachBall, has taken the time to compile a massive list of questions linked to clips where they're answered by a developer. Get comfy and head over to the Twitch Clips Directory forum thread. If you haven't found this already, be prepared to spend a good bit of time listening to all sorts of awesome information. This is the best place to get to know the fine details Identity! -- John VanderZwet

I find it funny how people get so aggravated over a delay. It happens, bitching like a bunch of pussies isn't going to help anything. I've been following the game's development with a friend of mine since before this website was even up, the only thing you can do to not go stir crazy waiting for the game is to merely check in every month or so, check any updates, and if the game isn't out, go on with your fucking life for another month, and check in again. Don't bother responding to me about how the Asylum team has lost your trust because I couldn't care less and I'm sure there are plenty of others who don't want to hear your gripes either, even some who've been following the game since day one. They're working with a million dollar budget, I'd rather them take another two years to make a fantastic game rather than release an unfinished product that I've spent sixty dollars on.
