2 points@HairyGrenadecan you agree on this video if the graphics are this good or even better would be sick if the studio apartment looked something similar simple and beautiful like this because this is my perfect imagination of a studio apartment.

2 pointsEveryone’s not gonna be on one server, you need to realize that. And everyone who’s in a gang won’t all be on at the same time.
-
2 pointsIf they finished it, then they would release it and not be streaming a tiny part of it today. Common sense mate
-
2 pointsOver 20k people backed the game. There is deffinently still a ton of support and fans of this game!
-
1 pointThere is a giveaway that started yesterday for anyone who would like to take their chances for a free founder's pack and jump into the game when beta launches! You can find the giveaway here: https://www.instagram.com/identity.hq/

1 pointJust that. In light of the TS Module being delayed (again), and it apparently being so close to being finished. One would think that you would see some more gameplay videoes and screenshots coming from the devs to whet the appetite of those excited and to calm the nerves of those skeptical. It's just a weird choice not too release more in my opinion. Thoughts?

1 pointCome Down And Watch https://www.twitch.tv/identityrpg Heres The Vid Also https://www.twitch.tv/videos/267093922 I was also really hoping for a jump animation but feel free to put your input on the stream
-
1 pointIt looked really nice, I'm definitely excited. I don't want to be picky but I suppose if you were to force me to be critical I would say the player movement animations could be further improved to become even more realistic/natural. Of course it would also be great if character animations could be added for all the object interactions that the player can engage in. For example when picking up a newspaper it would be great if the character would actually go through the motions of putting in a coin, opening up the stand, and taking out a paper. Also I could be wrong but I thought the devs previously said that inventory items would actually be visible on the player but in the video it seemed like the player would just pick up items and they would magically be added to him without him having to actually carry them. This game has a ton of potential, it could really end up being one of the greatest games of all times. I really hope the devs continue working on the game even after release and keep adding in more features, activities, jobs, concepts, etc in the future.

1 pointI apologize; that's what I meant. The tasks should be done this week, and then next week it'll be approved by our buddies at Steam.

1 pointHave you ever heard of Identity? A MMO RPG. It's called rp and based on real life. So if you've heard of such a game, well this is what it is. This isn't some GTA 5 rip off kid. This is roleplaying to the max. If you even have the slightest thought of what you said, than you best be packing your bags, because this game isn't all gangs and killing. Also, on a side note, you best be watching your back as you made enemies with the Morettiand BDE and their allies. I'm part of the BDE and so you better heed your own advice.

1 pointI disagree with this. There’s so many different jobs and ways to make money in Identity, I think you’re over estimating on how many people wanna play as gang members. There shouldn’t be this much limitation and restriction on them.
-
1 pointWoW was one of the first games I played on the computer. I was addicted. I used a geography book as a pad and a sock for my wrist so it wouldn't hurt. Good times with my freind and his dad who put on over like 3 - 4 thousand hours.

1 pointHello! Please stay strong! Cancer has been an enemy in life as well: I lost a guy I was in love with to it (just last April so very recent), and another love too, as well as many family friends and family members. So I can definitely understand the pain of that! You must not give up hope, though. As for friends, I'm always up to have more people to talk to so if you ever want to chat here I am! I'm a bit of an otaku though so forgive my geekiness. We're all hype about this game along with you so you'll be surrounded by like vibes here. ^^ Welcome to the forum.
-
1 pointGreetings from Cracow. I'm sorry to hear about your friend, I'm only 17 but I've recieved many rough lessons of life, so if you need a talk, feel free to add me. What you said is very important, and I'm trying to live like that too, just trying to be positive no matter what the circumstances are. By the way, stay tuned up for today's stream! Devs said it will show some gameplay.

1 pointCongratulations...would you like a medal...maybe we can crowdfund a statue for you...but then I'm sure you would complain it's taking too long, and you know so many other ppl that can make statues much faster, so on and so forth...Really the first time price of the game gets raised past early access? You must not know as much as you think you do...I say to stop tellin other people what they should be doing because of developer's that you know and games you've backed, and you just keep finding ways to puff out your chest, and make yourself sound superior...Yea you must be a really good developer...GTA cost $60 for how long? They didnt let anyone get moduls for it or early access...Same with RDR2 no early acess, it's taken that game 8 years and it still aint done, and it's still only life in ONE aspect not as much of an undertaking as Identity...But yea what ever you say bud...J ust because other developer's have done it the way you like, how do you tell someone else, they have to do it this way or it must BS...You have the freedom to take your development tyranny elsewhere and tell them how to make their game...Tell me what hobby games you develop so I can come there and spout about how your not doing it the way I've seen it done so your game must be a scam...Why do you people act like making some video's puts anything in stone about a game coming or not? Dude I'm not in the gaming industry except that I play games. But I have business education...and there are all different ways that people can go about developing a game especially when you aren't involved...thankfully. Ok now make sure to list anything else, so you can brag about knowing this developer, or have this career or this hobby, and that makes you the lord n master of all. You know everything about everything, and EVERY developer makes games the exact same way, all the time, forever and ever...and if they do anything other than how you deem, because this is how you do it, and have seen it done by 20-30 game developer's...Man i didn't realize that there have been only 2030 game developer's and they all make games the same exact way...whodathunkit I see plenty of games that have lots of a game to play, in early access since ive gotten on PC and all I see is people talking about it's buggy not optimized, it's isn't worth what they charge, get it on sale...the list goes on and on...When companies pay people to test their games...do those people complain that it isn't a finished game, tell other people not to invest in it, or buy it when it's cheaper? That's how it happens when games ask us to help test their game on PC...Have we forgotten Identity in scale is bigger than any game on the market right now? I would prefer as a actual pledger, that they don't take the man power and time to give us video's of gameplay which mean squat to me because anyone can make video's, or did Mr big shot software developer forget this glaringly obvious fact? No one has ever been scammed by watching a really convincing video...nope not once... I also don't quite see how a small developer company, is supposed to prove what their game can be, if they are in the process of making it from scratch...Imagine if Rockstar's very first game was GTA V and needed us to fund it? Identity plans to be much much bigger than gta by a long shot... The way you think it would never get made...I still say I am losing hope for PC gaming, to really distinguish itself from console, because of "gamer's" like you. I have done things too, and there are always many different ways that people choose to do them. Just cause someone asks for help doesnt mean you can tell them how they need to do it...If you don't like it you have the freedom to leave and not support it...You don't need to bring attention and try and convince others that you know what you're talking about and they must be doing something wrong... I really would love to know how the hell you think I don't have any clue what I'm talking about...I'm backing a game I pledged...I happen to know exactly what I'm talking about as I believe we dictate what games get made, people make You Tuber's massive and rich giving them money for video's, but make a game unlike anything else before it...and it's not worth even what GTA sells for? What the hell are you doing but puffing out your chest? Telling people they are idiot's...your a pompous ass...You talk a good game on the internet with your anonymity muscles... This is a forum for SUPPORTING THE GAME IDENTITY RPG...NOT for making posts whining they aren't doing it the Patrick Star approved way and UNsupporting it, then boasting about your credentials to put yourself up on a pedastal to lend some credit to what you say like it's gospel...I have faith that this is a great business opportunity for them and instead of doing a mod server for someone else's game...They can make some dough doing it or their own game. But they will need a lot of help to pull that off, you can either give it or dont but dont judge what they are doing because it's not what you would do or have seen...If you were developing it with them, then this is where'd you would walk away from the project because of creative differences... You don't have to be a damn rocket scientist to know how to pledge a game and that it's not mine to dictate how they go about it, unless I'm investing hundreds of thousadns of dollars...How much should this game cost to make, if it's bigger than GTA? they got 1.2 million so far, do we really wanna play what they have made so far with only that much invested so far? So I'm an actual investor and I'm saying they are doing it just right, as long as they get it done. I don't expect them to take my orders now that I've pledged...and they sure as hell shouldn't haveto from someone that isn't.

1 pointYour font is a little tiny but apart from that, it's great! Might want to add what you do in order to obtain your monies
-
1 pointDon't assume you know anything about the person you're talking to, it just makes you look like an idiot. I actually am a software developer and I actually do make games as a hobby. Just because you don't have the slightest clue what you are talking about doesn't mean nobody else does either. I know exactly what goes into making a game, and I know that the developers for this are probably working extremely hard on it. That doesn't mean that it will turn out well, it doesn't mean I should blindly throw money at them, and it doesn't mean that they shouldn't be obligated to show the people that might be willing to give them money something to instill some faith. The first gameplay video was not a promising first look at this game, and the developers have done nothing at all to provide any sort of reassurance that the game won't actually look like that video. If they want more people to support them then they need to show something that is worth supporting. If they do release this module and raise the price without showing anything then that points to them not actually having faith in their own product, or its potential community. If they're getting a lot of negative attention then clearly they're doing something wrong. The people waiting on the fence aren't cheap, we're smart. There are hundreds of these games that fail, and it'd be stupid to blindly give them money based on some text on their website and some reference quality models that they're showing on Twitter/Facebook. I have backed a couple dozen crowdfunded games, I actually love backing these games as a matter of fact (I just bought one last night that even had a free playable demo, something Asylum could learn from), but I will not do so without seeing something that shows that the developers are living up to the promises they're making on their websites. Star Citizen is successful because of their approach and because of their transparency. Elite Dangerous is another example, same with Dauntless, Pillars of Eternity, Torment: Tide of Numenera, etc. Those games had hours worth of footage before any playable pieces were available and most of them didn't raise the price as soon as a new "module" or major update released either. Divinity Original Sin for example had over 50 video updates on the progress of the game, most of which showed new footage even if it wasn't quite finished, and kept the same price even after their full retail release. Those games were all extremely successful and the developers were more than happy to show off in-progress features, and I do the same at work with my customers. I've happily demoed changes or in-progress features to an application for customers, they understand that things aren't finished and there may be some bugs but they don't care. They're generally just happy to see that progress is being made.

1 pointSalutations everyone, I just wanted to give you all a quick heads up as to how Tuesday's stream will function. The current plan is to host a regular development stream for about 45 minutes, then give John (the CEO) a moment to stream some gameplay near the end. Both streams will take place in the usual spot: https://www.twitch.tv/identityrpg The goal is to give viewers a brief tour of Town Square after he creates a character to play as. While we won't show off too many features just yet (we need a few more programming + UI tasks to be completed in order to make some features look and operate properly), the prospect of seeing a character move within Town Square's environment is quite exciting. We know many have grown fatigued of seeing Art streams, so we hope that this will be a welcome change in atmosphere. If you can't tune in on Tuesday, don't worry. I'll make sure the VOD is preserved on YouTube, and I'll most certainly be recording highlights of the stream using Twitch's Clip feature. That's all for now! I hope you all have a safe and wonderful weekend, see you next week!

1 pointThis 'hard man' just joined our Discord and declared war on us! Firstly he doesn't even know the first thing about us and our motives. Then he has the audacity to say that he will declare himself an enemy of any criminal organisation, and to that I wish him and his 'army' good luck. After asking him several times how many men he had, he refused to give me a number or even a range and instead said, "Enough", "you cant even count that high" and the most professional of all, "". The Yakuza aren't exactly the most admirable people in terms of fighting crime seeing that they're "members of transitional organised crime syndicates". Their own people call them "violent groups", so his idea of peace is at best delusional. I suggest that if he wants to take on the rather ambitious goal of calling himself the, 'Yakuza', that he does research into it first and find out who and what responsibilities he's taking on. Nevertheless his hyperaggressive entrance on our Discord made him the subject to jokes and laughter, of which, will not be forgotten!

1 pointYou asked 'what do you think guys?' I responded to your topic with: All you are doing is speculating. It means nothing because you have no inside info on their progression. How do you know what the issues are with the tasks left to do? Some might take a lot of work to correct. What happens if they add more? It's insane people just put a date on it. It's just speculation. Just because its not what you want to hear and not of the same opinion as yours, it doesnt mean I am attacking you. The fact is as of now there are no set dates for any release because until Asylum tell us then we have nothing to go by. The tracker shows they are not finished so until that happens how can you even speculate putting a date on it. You created a topic with your opinions and made up dates, you asked others what we think, so I told you my opinion, I hardly call it attacking you.

1 pointNice I'am a huge bike fan ! I currently own a CBR 600 2012 then I have been recently been gifted the BMW S1000RR 2015 from my dad as he wants to buy himself a cruiser and soon as we move to Texas at the end of this year ! I'm thinking of then buying myself a nice little Husqurvana 701 Supermoto and an Indian Scout to have in my arsenal as I'll be shipping the BMW 1000RR To the states to keep and selling my CBR 600. (That is me in the middle on the CBR 600)(To the right is the BMW that has been gifted to me) https://gyazo.com/4a3e8ac0cfaf69b191342a20ecdcf03e https://gyazo.com/f63308cd8b6746ba9fbb18ce741e6b8f Just some more photos of my motorbike the day I bought it

1 pointI play Star Trek Online sometimes. I never played MMORPGs when I was younger. I've never really been a fan of mythical/middle-earth MMORPGs (like WoW). I've never tried WoW or anything like it, but I don't think I'd like it.
-
1 pointHad to search up the category, but I have played Shadowbane as well as Wizard 101 that sort of got me interested in games that you have to grind at, but switched my eyes to racing games due to my passion for cars.
-
1 pointVery true and the fact that there are over 25 thousand backers, i'm pretty sure they are working as fast as they can to complete the game.
-
1 pointYou are correct last time the question was asked by someone on stream. They stated that they did not think people whould understand anyways. (Yes i guess we are stupid.). Anyways they should be able to speak about the mechanics left for Town Square. That is just my opinion, and that ussely gets moderated\ hidden on here but heck.
-
1 pointYea that was what I was trying to get at, because i've seen so many rdm bombings in like Arma and Gta and it is annoying that there is no rp on the victims side or anything so yea.... not saying i would like to create a terrorist cell and plan for months to bomb the town square.....,noooooooo.........
-
1 pointI agree with what you have said here. I believe the website is finished but they are waiting for a 3rd party company to do something then it will go live. Also they might be actually releasing the new website with the release of the TS module. Tell me what you think.

1 pointStep inside my office! We're in the home stretch, now. The Town Square module is almost ready to go, and now you can follow the Asylum developers as we approach the release. Exactly two weeks ago we launched the new Identity Task Tracker; check out that link, or click the big green button on the Identity website. The task tracker shows you our progress from the point of release a couple of weeks ago until now, and we update every weekday. This tracker displays the data right out of our own project management software that we use to drive and organize the developers inside the studio. All tasks on the tracker are those that remained as of two weeks ago up to the point we consider the Town Square module to be ready for release. These are not all of the tasks we've done (there've been thousands), but just the ones remaining. I'm pretty proud of the progress our guys are making each day. It's only been a couple of weeks but you'll see the majority of those tasks are marked completed! It's really amazing what a team of this size can do when it has such talent. Keep your eye on the tracker; when our important tasks there are done it's time for a Steam release! We're all extremely excited over here. Town Square barber shop interior, work in progress The World Wide Wait An all new Identity website is very, very close to release. In fact, it's so close that we're only waiting on a technology partner to finalize their end of things. Our new website enhances the style of our existing site but is focused far more on improved functionality. A very robust new account system is in place to help you get in the game, and our new shop has some other big requested features! Finally, you'll be able to pay with dozens of methods (PayPal, credit cards, PaySafe and more) and even gift purchases to your friends. With the release of the new website also comes the return of the Identity Insider. The Insider will be a monthly detailed addition to the website, containing all sorts of information you may not have heard before and diving deep into a specific Identity gameplay topic. Our current pledge packages will remain on the website for only one week after the new website launches. After that, many of those rewards will never be sold again and those which are will be a bit more expensive as we prepare for retail pricing. Now's the time to join in the support of Identity's development if you have been on the fence! A look inside the Asylum Everyone at Asylum has been working like crazy. The poor guys are in overdrive and won't be slowing down anytime soon. In fact, just this last week we hired four new programmers to join the team, more than doubling the programmer team size, to ensure that we can get content to you faster. I've myself continued to put a lot of development hours in when I'm not busy with business stuff. I've added some interesting things in the last weeks including substance use and effects. You won't need to spend your time in the Town Square digitally sober! Mark, our graphic designer, has been taking his excellent art into the game engine with the creation of wallpapers for homes as well as a bunch of clothing options. I hoped to have a couple dozen cool wall options available to start with the Town Square release. When I looked over his shoulder today it was somewhere around 300. Wow, I can't even imagine the options when crafting decorations is introduced on top of that. We're pretty much ready to go on the art side of things. Those who follow us on Twitch will have seen Jade/Lee has finished will all of the housing floorplans and the final touches are being done to integrate them into the game today. A lot of our floorplans are based on pop-culture; see if you can identify them. You'll have the chance to walk through them in the Town Square to help with your home-buying decisions. Keep an eye on our Twitch streams! We're going to be showing some cool stuff quite soon. It's been a long wait for the Town Square release, but the wait is almost over. The Twitch Clips If you've been following Identity's development closely, you probably already know that developers stream their work live on the Identity Twitch channel every Tuesday and Thursday. We also use that time to answer almost every question that gets asked about Identity's development and gameplay. Now that we've been doing this a while, we've answered a lot of questions. Our awesome community manager, BeachBall, has taken the time to compile a massive list of questions linked to clips where they're answered by a developer. Get comfy and head over to the Twitch Clips Directory forum thread. If you haven't found this already, be prepared to spend a good bit of time listening to all sorts of awesome information. This is the best place to get to know the fine details Identity! -- John VanderZwet

1 pointI believe this dev team is very talented. How they started off as a small team who created Altis Life for Arma 3, and really kickstarted modern MMORPG. To now with there increased size of a team. This game is going to take a lot of time. And I wouldn’t be suprised if the full game isn’t out until sometime in 2020. But I truly believe in this game. And I will wait as long as it takes, because the concept of this game sounds like the best game ever to me.
