This 'hard man' just joined our Discord and declared war on us! Firstly he doesn't even know the first thing about us and our motives. Then he has the audacity to say that he will declare himself an enemy of any criminal organisation, and to that I wish him and his 'army' good luck. After asking him several times how many men he had, he refused to give me a number or even a range and instead said, "Enough", "you cant even count that high" and the most professional of all, "". The Yakuza aren't exactly the most admirable people in terms of fighting crime seeing that they're "members of transitional organised crime syndicates". Their own people call them "violent groups", so his idea of peace is at best delusional. I suggest that if he wants to take on the rather ambitious goal of calling himself the, 'Yakuza', that he does research into it first and find out who and what responsibilities he's taking on. Nevertheless his hyperaggressive entrance on our Discord made him the subject to jokes and laughter, of which, will not be forgotten!

The topic was locked due to reports we received of constant arguments among users. I will bring this up with the other mods and see what they think of it. For gameplay, when I stated "showing tons of gameplay doesn't get people as excited or pumped" That was my reasoning as to why we haven't shown much. Getting a colossal amount of footage from the game to watch is great and all, but you know what to expect when the game comes out and aren't amazed or intrigued by anything since you have already witnessed it all. For me to provide us stating this I would have to dig through all the tweets from the official Identity twitter and twitch page, so you'll have to take my word on that since there are hundreds, if not thousands. As far as dates go for release, I cannot give anything out and neither can anyone else since we aren't fully up to date on that. The people that truly have an idea of when the TS module will be playable is either Sean (Motown) or John (Paratus) and even they won't give an exact date yet since it's unfortunately fallen through before. You will just need to keep your eye on the task tracker at the bottom of this page as the first module will be released when they are all completed. The only person who has control of the dev blogs is John and no one else is updated on it since he tends to do that after work at home. I did say what the maximum prison time is because that is what they have it at for testing and so until they test, it is Maximum 45mins.

There’s no paychecks in Identity, you get paid for completing tasks and doing stuff. If you’re a cop you get Paid for writing tickets and arresting people, etc. if you’re a delivery driver, you don’t have a salary instead you get paid when you complete deliveries. Now however business owners could pay their employees additional money like a salary but there is no system to guarantee that you will be payed. The value of money in Identity will be similar to the USD. However Identity’s economy is player driven, so expect to see all sorts of price changes in goods throughout time.

Salutations everyone, I just wanted to give you all a quick heads up as to how Tuesday's stream will function. The current plan is to host a regular development stream for about 45 minutes, then give John (the CEO) a moment to stream some gameplay near the end. While we won't show off too many features just yet (we need a few more programming + UI tasks to be completed in order to make some features look and operate properly), the prospect of seeing a character move within Town Square's environment is quite exciting. We know many have grown fatigued of seeing Art streams, so we hope that this will be a welcome change in atmosphere. If you can't tune in on Tuesday, don't worry. I'll make sure the VOD is preserved on YouTube, and I'll most certainly be recording highlights of the stream using Twitch's Clip feature. That's all for now! When have any of the devs talked with a hostile attitude??

Max time should be like 1 week, and people should be able to break you out in a coordinated assault against the prison as well. All to make the game more realistic.

The player count will be between 300 - 500 per server and gang numbers will likely be any amount really but on private servers will likely have an option to restrict it. Not everyone will just go join the same gang, people will/ rather make their own gang to rival others etc.

This aint cops and crims and if you want to play that go find another game. An "average joe" will probably become richer than a criminal or vice versa. It's all player based so you dont know whos is going to be at the top. I know one gang who isn't going to be at the top and that's the Yakuza.

Two suggestions/questions: Master officer sounds silly, try senior officer If you make it so you have to be Sergeant and higher to become SWAT or K9, etc.. then you wont have many people in those positions which you will need multiple of if you are taking it like real life then technically the 3 highest ranks are only in the office and wont be on the field so then technically you would only have like 11 people in sub divisions.... so that doesn't really make sense.

2 or 3 weeks yet for town square and the guns will go fast like 3 months and the cars like 6-9 months then full game beta testing for maybe 3 months then full game } lets add up the numbers around end of 2019 to the first 3 months of 2020 is my guess

There's a reason there isn't much gameplay released right now, we've answered this a lot on probably every social media outlet, but showing tons of gameplay doesn't get people as excited or pumped as it does when you're shown a little until you get to just experience it yourself.

Hey there @BlueJ Welcome to the community. This is very nicely detailed but I have a few friendly critics/ suggestions. Firstly I would like to ask a simple question. 1. What police rank will it be that you then can qualify to be a "Detective, S.W.A.T, DEA" position? Now Fire Department. 1. Fire Department and the EMS is separate things and not together..... It is not how most american states have it, it is like England; separated and so will be 2 different departments. 2. For the Fire Dept., EMS Dept, and Police. There will not be a "Salary" for Public Official servers or Private community servers. Now Politics... 1. I know you want it totally under control but the point of politics is to allow players to create their party themselves and not just have 1 singular party be in power as that is no fun / dictatorship especially putting stuff like it as "Staff Only".... You should not try dictate how political things are run. (Just my opinion really) as their will be a ballot where people can vote for candidates to become Governor. Now Citizens...... You have no power as admin to stop players really doing what they want. They have their choice and if they want to do that then if you want realistic RP then dictating them is going to make you lose players as "In Real Life" you choose who you want to be and not someone else. It is the players choice. You trying to force something on them because you want things equal will not make the server fun for the players. I would love a glimpse of actual gameplay next week . I do not expect perfection. In fact I expect some things to break, to not look good, and to not function smoothly or as expected. To expect otherwise would not be appropriate for a pre-Alpha release. I will not assume that just because something matches the expectations I listed above, that everything will be that way, or that it will always be that way. My opinions will be tempered by the current state of the game's development. I hope that the demonstration show cases what is working and what will soon be available for the early access users to play, and not some cool things that are either a long way off, or still under consideration for inclusion in the game.

I hope developing will go more swiftly after Town Square is out.

Well said you would think that atleast they do a fly trough of the Town Square. Seeing as it is done and all, if first impresion is the worry's, they should have no issues showing of complete content. It would do so much for moral and community sentiment. To me at least it realy seems like they have no wish to show it to us.
