Hey guys thought I would just post something and introduce myself, I'm from Sydney Australia and I've always loved life simulators like Arma 3 life and games like that. I've always known about Identity and thought it sounds like an amazing game that is going to be far better than Arma 3 could ever have been. Can't wait to see you guys in the beta Cheers

I really like this idea! I'm really hoping modding/addons is a feature of Identity as I plan to spend many hours on addons when/if you can.

Announcement I will no longer be updating this post because of full-time work. I simply don't have enough time to do it every morning. I know i said i would be updating this post daily but i just cant anymore. Thank you to everyone who has been positive in the comments, I'll see you in town square Hello and welcome In this post ill be keeping everyone updated with the tasks that are completed everyday from day 1 until we have a release date. Ill try my best to go into detail and give my open minded opinion on the tasks Day 1 When looking at day one you see all these tasks that need to be completed, It does seem scary to think that we could be waiting a while. Day 2 Now comparing day two with day one you begin to see some decent changes, not much but it's still progress non the less! Environment: As seen in the picture developers have taken one more task on board and are working hard to get them done. Props: We can see that all the props are now finished for Town Square. Technical Art: We see here that the developers have taken one task on board to work on. UI & UX: Big step forward here, you can see within a day one of the tasks has been completed and the rest are in the works. User Interface: We see one task being taken on board today. Day 3 Day 3 is looking to be a nice step forward in development on the tasks, Looks like all 2D graphics are done and dusted. 2D Graphics: All the tasks have been completed and we can see some more help with other tasks. Technical Art: We see developers have taken one more task on board to work on. UI & UX: One of the tasks has been completed and only one more remains until UI & UX are all done. Gameplay: One of the tasks has been done and the developers have taken one more on board to work on. User Interface: We see one has been completed and developers have taken one more task on board as a result. Day 4 Day 4 is looking to be a little bit slow in terms of progress, this just means more work can be done tomorrow! Animation: All the animation work has been finished and we can expect more people working on other tasks. Character Art: Seems like the developers have taken this task on board and hopefully we can see this finished by tomorrow! Systems: Nice progress there today, 2 tasks done and a nice step towards completion. Day 5 Day 5 overall looks like a nice day for development, doesn't seem like we have encountered any setbacks. Environment: Developers have completed one more task here, and as a result we can see they have taken one more task on board to work with. Technical Art: We see here that the developers have completed one task and taken another one on board. Gameplay: Here we see that developers have completed one task and have taken one on board as well as testing another gameplay aspect. Day 6 Day 6 is looking like another nice step forward in the development process. Technical Art: We can see developers have completed one task and have taken another one on board to work with. Bug Tracker: As shown above we are seeing some nice movement in terms of bug fixing, we see that two bugs have been fixed. Gameplay: Developers have taken one more task on board to work with here. Day 7 Day 7 looks like a little bit of a slow day today, maybe because its Friday? Technical Art: We can see one task has been completed here and another one has been taken on board to work on. Bug Tracker: Developers have completed one more task on the list in terms of bug fixes. User Interface: We can see that developers have completed two tasks today and haven taken another one on board to work with. Day 8 Day 8 looking like a lot of progress has happened, especially for a Monday. Environment: We can see here that developers have brought two of the tasks into testing stages. Technical Art: As we can see from above, developers have completed one task and taken another one on board to work with. UI & UX: Another green bar! We can see everything here is now finished for the release. Systems: We see that developers have taken one new task on board to work with here. User interface: We can see that developers are now testing on of the features here, hopefully done tomorrow. Day 9 Day 9 overall is setting up to be a nice start to the week in development. Environment: We can see here that developers have completed two more tasks, with one more in progress and one in revision. Gameplay: In terms of gameplay we can see one more task completed, another in testing and one more taken on board. User Interface: We can see that one more task is now being thrown in the works and tested. Day 10 Day 10 looks like a one step forward and two steps back kinda day. Environment: We can see that there is one more task completed and one still in the works. Bug Tracker: We can see one new bug has been added to the list. Gameplay: As seen in the picture above, we can see one more task complete along with one more in the works. In addition we have one more added to the list. Day 11 Day 11 looks like we are back on track at slow but steady pace. Technical Art: We can see developers have taken one more task on board to work with. Systems: As seen in the picture, one task has been completed with one more in testing. User Interface: We have one task being put into the works for developers to work on. Day 12 Day 12 looks to be a bit of a weird day. Character Art: Seems as though developers have taken it out of the task tracker, Maybe it's no longer needed? Bug Tracker: One more bug has been completed here. I have no idea whats going on, maybe Friday is a lazy day? Notice: From this day onward until day 19 i was away due to a sudden family tragedy, that's why you see a sudden jump in the days Day 19 Day 20 Day 20 looks like a rather slow day, considering we are getting into the coding aspect we can begin to see these slow days occur more often. Gameplay: We see that developers have taken two more tasks on board to work on here. User Interface: We can see that developers have added another task on the pile to complete. Day 21 Day 21 looks to be at a slow pace compared to last week. Technical Art: We can see one task has been completed here. User Interface: Looks like one task has been put into testing phase. Day 22 Day 22 is your typical Friday work pace Systems: We can see that all systems tasks have been completed. Day 23 Day 23 Is a bummer in terms of progress. No progress was made today. Progression Pictures Days 1-5 Side By Side (Click) Days 5-10 Side By Side (Click) Days 1-10 Side By Side (Click) Days 10-20 Side By Side (Click) Days 1-20 Side By Side (Click) Summary Looking at the images above you can sort of see the development pan out at a decent pase so far, keep in mind that the more tasks that are ticked off means more man power for the rest of the tasks. With the data above 54 total tasks with an average of 5 being completed a day, i can assume the game COULD be ready for launch in 14-20 days. taking into account the extra man power when tasks are done. This is also assuming developers dont run into any major setbacks. I will try to keep this post up to date with daily updates on the tasks, Also giving my opinion on the day. In the mean time i want to know what everyone else thinks about all these tasks? Will there be more put in? Will the pase of the development speed up? Let me know what you think down below! Greetings everyone, Today I'd like to update you guys on some progress for Identity. Below, you will find new pictures that haven't been shown to the public eye yet. We know you are waiting so eagerly to play, but please remember everything takes time. Thanks to everyone who has shown the developers support thus far!

Not sure if there is a topic like this one, but I thought would just go ahead and make a new one. Would like to show you from where I come with this great video of Lucerne - Switzerland. If you have something similarly just post it and lets see what beautiful places there are out there.

I think it would be neat if we could have a "Character vault" or something similar sub-forum in the "Pub" category. Where people can make a thread about their characters. Instead of either using these "Post your character" threads where it'll easily get lost in the pages for no one find them again, unless they search for it. Or flood the main forum. Just a idea... Do post your own thoughts bellow.

I'm not sure if the devs had said anything about this yet, but I thought it would be a cool idea to be able to hide in a car or some sort of vehicle to hide from people and more specifically cops.

Hey MartinaMarley! I sent a reply to your inbox, but just to reiterate, the store keeps track of how much money you've pledged. If you purchased the Citizen pledge reward package ($15), then the Founder (regularly $30) will display as a $15 dollar purchase instead. By making two individual purchases of $15, you'll unlock the rewards found in the Founder pledge reward package, hence you'll be able to access the Modules + Beta. If you'd ever like me to double check that you have the Founder package, message me your Account ID and I'll see what claimable rewards are associated with your account!

If it goes well should become the 'go-to' game for many pc role players. Looking forward to seeing how it performs soon. 300+ player servers should be busy places for RP. Brand new site I just started building (work in progress with loads to do) with an aim to fund and run a future private Australian server as soon as they are are available: https://oztralialife.enjin.com/ aiming for a fairly structured and organised setup to suit medium-hardcore role players...

Good idea to have a main 'spot' for all the character post, i also agree that is should be template but not to strictly.
  20. 1 point
Agreed, the forums should consist of a legitimate "Character Vault" that provides players with the ability to submit more than one post that is strictly intended for the purposes of displaying very well-detailed autobiographies of more than one character. The topic or section should consist of a variety of strict guidelines that must be followed by any individual that posts within the topic: 1. Players must produce ONE POST PER CHARACTER (although, the amount of characters could be unlimited), 2. Players shall be obligated to abide by a template that is located within the original post of the topic. 3. Any alterations of the character's information shall be EDITED, rather than re-posted as another post/comment. 4. Non-templated posts shall be deleted. I.E. Comments on a templated post or non-templated autobiographies.

This game CAN be so much more than GTA. Hell, even more than GTA AND The Sims put together and multiplied. But that all depends on US...You have to figure if it took Rockstar so many years just to make GTA, they are a huge developer with unlimited capital and workforce. Asylum is going to need ALOT more help from it's player base if it ever wants to get there. They can't just make a game tremendously more in scale to anything out right now, simply cause they want to. With so many ppl trying to get the game for bare minimum $15-$30, this game is gonna need so many more ppl pledging to reach its goal. We need more ppl that actually want to help development and not just help themselves to a potential game changer. You know any other developer would be chargin for everything, from normal stuff to being able to branch out into other jobs careers and such. They'd have a drug DLC, the Law DLC, EMT DLC, and so on and so forth...This is a game we can't be cheap with if we want it to come to life. "Pledging" anything under $60, if GTA was worth $60 for years after it released, Identity should be worth at least as much before it's released. I think they are screwing themselves by letting ppl get this game for $15-30. Imagine how much less GTA would have if they actually let ppl pay less for it if they got it early. People who pay less than the game is worth usually wait for a long time to play it. Only on PC do they let you pay less for a game to put your money in early... This is the Master Race somehow? Yet A subscription service is too much to pay for 6.99 a month for system maintenance & NO CHEATERS! But, will shell out tons of money for digital skins and weapons...basically NOTHING! I pay 24.99 a year for my PC Origins subscription. We can't have better than console games if the people on console are paying $60 for most of their games...And The Master Race with it's $650+ Gpu's, and water cooling, RGB lighting, and my... "platform" is bigger than yours complex. Won't even give what a game, one of the most ambitious endeavors for a game imo, is worth and wants to be considered as supporting development. Identity will NOT make it if ppl don't start ponying up some dough. Or we are gonna be waiting like 10 years as a small team the fraction of the size of Rockstar tries to make it with a fraction of the Support. I don't get how GTA got so much money and its got chaos as a criminal, and grinding to give them money and time for cooler cars and more missions to waste or time and money on. Everyone is a criminal on GTA. On Identity we could actually be a criminal robbing working class citizens, not just other criminals! I'm not rich, or a streamer...I had to make sacrifices to give what I pledged, but I love GTA and this is like 10 GTA's. This is so many simulator games packed into one! The only reason I see this game not coming to the light of day is because of this PCMR that thinks so highly of themselves, will pay butt loads for the dumbest stuff but seems to think games should be cheap. I know I'll probably catch flak for the PCMR comments...but I don't care. I have a PC too. I didn't spend oodles for my PC system though to play cheap ass games though.

Yea you can NOT break into homes in Identity, and this won’t change.

It should be called something like "Citizen List" or "Citizen Register", but "Character Vault" is OK, too.

I'd be pretty interested in how well the game will run after optimisation, it looks like its going to be a very high end spec game in terms of graphics.

Having delay after delay is pretty disheartening, but you also need to understand the level of depth this game is going to offer as well as the limited amount of developers actually working on this game. The release of the town square module isn't really anything exciting, its a preview. There won't be much to do, just walk around and have a look. Won't really be a beta that you can play with all your friends, not at this stage. To do with their excuses is different, that's were i agree with most people complaining. The devs and community staff should be more up to date with progress and relay information almost as much as possible. Whether its weekly posts or just comments of related posts about said topic, that way it will keep alot more dedicated 'investors' in the loop.
