3 pointsGuys, the devs updated/ was working every day with no days off from last Monday till this Friday just gone and so they was working for more than 7 days with no days off including last weekend. They have families like we do and so they are entitled to have at least 1 weekend without working and spending time with the family. They will update the tracker today, but please don't expect them to work 24/7 when they have lives like we all do, as everyone is entitled to a break.

2 pointsThe past months here at the studio have been hectic, but our labors are paying off. It is with regret that I must make the decision to push back the public release of the Town Square module from April 23; however, the delay will be quite minor. Because this is now the second delay to an official firm release date, and because we expect this delay to be short-lived, we are as of this announcement releasing the Asylum Task Tracker. The new task tracker, visible on the Town Square section of the official website (here's a link for you), offers the Identity community and fans absolute transparency in our development progress. You can now see the tasks we have to complete before we're ready for the module to be publicly available. It will be updated each and every day. The list is not long, and displays all tasks since the tracker was created only a day ago. When all of the tasks are completed, of which none are major, Town Square will be released on Steam and available for play. Furthermore, the new Identity website is on schedule for a release just next week! The new website will come with all sorts of cool new features and we'll be building on it constantly as we move forward, too. With the release of the new website, I'm also going to begin regular Identity Insider releases. These Insider publications will add a ton of very detailed information on key systems within Identity. Delays are unfortunately a reality of all game development, whether a game is being produced by a large studio with hundreds of developers or a small team, such as ours, with only dozens. We faced unforeseeable technical issues recently; however, all of the issues we had have been fully resolved and, as you can see with the new tracker, release is extremely close. As soon as we get some final bits of art in place, we're going to compile a Town Square trailer video and begin showing off the game and environments on our development streams. So to sum it all up, keep an eye on the new tracker (see that link above) and follow our progress. The tracker will be updated once per day as it has to be done manually. Once we get our production software updated so that it can be automated, it'll be a live display. I also want to say that you to our loyal community and fan-base. Delays are never a fun thing to experience with any game, so everyone here in the studio is working overtime like crazy to get you into our world. You'll be in the Town Square very soon and this is going to make the game a much better experience. I'm really excited for our first module release as it's shaping up to be a really fun and beautiful experience. In fact, the Town Square is much more than I even though it would have been early on; I'm extremely happy with what we've put together. I hope you enjoy the peak behind the scenes with the new task tracker and we'll be seeing you in the square soon!

2 pointsyou can see here the neighborhood in UE4 its a sample you can buy it on ue4 market place, i want to ask the devs @Paratus @Motown @Beach_Ball about this and will it be similar to this because this is how in real life the neighborhoods look like thank you what do u think guys ?
-
2 pointsIt is confirmed! Dirty money will happen, it can be cleaned and then turned into clean money! The Twitch Clips down below confirm it.
-
2 pointsi want identity to not only invest their time and work only on game mechanics but to give effort to the housing and the american style of neighborhoods, i mean look at this goergoes view and imagine once you sign in u get out of ur house u see players jogging and running maybe playing with their pets and all that good stuff, some of them having fun in their backyards maybe partying and all that, then the police at night go and shut the party at the backyard of a house !!!!
-
2 pointsMaybe the big boring gangs you see on Arma are run very differently how we run ourselves. We are a family, not a gang and we run ourselves in a very organized fashion, not like many of the semi troll gangs on Arma. Lots of money to be made and good RP to be had with the family.

1 pointLike I said before in another post, whoever "bought" a package simply made a donation, and they should have had prior knowledge to the fact that this is a game in-development, ergo there will be delays. You were not promised a release date, just given one. The devs and staff want you to enjoy this game, but would you rather get an unfinished program now, or wait a few months and then get a finished program? So no, this isn't just a way to keep the people going and giving them false hope. This is the game-development wagon, and delays are simply part of it.

1 pointI'm only contracted to to a certain number of hours a week - it's just throughout my entire dev career, I've always worked seemingly non-stop. I had to consciously prevent myself from working too much as I were receiving no thanks for the additional input. haha.
-
1 pointYes and no. Yes the items are delivered by players, there are however some shops that are AI controlled which have unlimited supply. Most of the economy is player run.
-
1 pointI don't see why they should give us anything yes we have supported and waited for the game... But the fact is things happen when u are making a game if u are a big company or a small one... sometimes release dates are getting pushed back that is how things are they don't owe u anything u chose to support them and chose not to reclaim when they delayed the game if u are not happy with what u get that is your problem not the developers...

1 pointTry me lol. Of course i cannot give you personal information, such as workplace or my degree. But I ensure you that i am a developer and had many projects till now. What its fascinating is that YOU are jumping to conclusions about my profession and my experience while avoiding the subject of this post. 75% of the votes AGREED that we deserve a compensation. But YOU do not want to see that. Blind AF is the term I ll use here. BTW... Where is the released day? Where is the proof that the game IS ACTUALLY BEING DEVELOPED? WHERE ARE THE DEV NOTES? All we saw is a twitch stream of a guy painting a beard. I would love to see this game happening. BUT, it seems that only few of us ARE PUSHING the developers to give us something OR at least prove to us that SOMETHING is happening. @Kraiyick, People like you, keep the developers from pushing more work to be done. So, next time you want to write something. PUSH AWAY your ego and help us pressure the developers. Thats how you are getting something to play this year.

1 pointAimed at nobody in particular, but I don't understand all this drama, it just seems so unnecessary. If you can't tolerate the release of the first module how are you going to survive the wait for the full release especially considering the features for TS are going to be limited initially in comparison to the vision for the full and final game. Also just because you pledged in no way guarantees you to a game or entitles you to hold the Dev's hostage, this community seems to quickly be becoming toxic. If you can't handle the practicalities of early access don't commit to it...flooding the forums with negative comments simply ruins the experience for others, of which there are many (all with different attitudes and opinions) and which also requires the attention of mods and Dev's and ultimately distracts from the development of the game.
-
1 pointYes, it will come before or with the modules release. @TOPGUNGUY123We haven't had 5 real delays over 3 years. Kickstarter only allows for 2 years of a deadline. 2 Years is not enough for the small team size Asylum has. Normally the game would be in development for a year before the devs kickstart their game, but Identity was on Kickstarter from concept. They only started development from the end of the kickstarter campaign. It wasn't there thought for that estimate. So we have had 2 Real delays and 3 general estimations being too short. I count 2 real delays which were the latest things announced. This is my Understanding of course, that I only count 2.
-
1 pointor maybe you should stop bitching and forget about identity, if you cant understand how much work developing is, you're not worth playing identity
-
1 pointThe weekend is likely the reason why it has not been updated today as the devs are not in the office and are likely home with their families with a day off.

1 pointSo where do you draw the line? So say someone pledged early 2017 and someone else pledged 3 months ago or even last week, is it fair they get the same rewards? You could argue well he's only pledged a week ago, he doesn't deserve anything because he's not been through what some of us have. Yes delays are annoying but so are self entitled people. You pledged, not bought. Even if they did release it early I bet the very same people would then be moaning that it's unplayable and full of bugs. If you wanted to buy, then wait for it's proper release when it's a full game.
-
1 pointOK guys listen... We can't fight here. We have to stay strong and fight for each other. We have to believe in what we pledged for. Please everyone we must become a unified community! See you all in the Time Square!!!

1 pointYou've been here since the 28th of Feb, every post you've done has either been asking for a refund, calling Asylum scammers, or agitating. Tell me why you deserve anything, because from what I've seen, you've been anything BUT helpful.
-
1 pointWOAW you are very fast to answer thank you I it is that your team work hard to achieve the impossible I wish all Asylum Entertainment studio A promising future and also a great day
-
1 pointYou will get a steam key via email when it is ready, You will download the module from steam but also you will have a Launcher for the game itself which you will log in with your store account. The first Module will be compressed and it will be roughly 10 GB. The Modules and Beta will be Only English. At Full game release you will find that Private servers will include other specific languages but the Official servers will be English Only. 1 week after the new website releases the pledge packages will be risen in price or removed from the store and no longer will be available.
-
1 pointI understand wishing for more, especially in return for going through all of the hardships development has brought, but those who paid did so to support game development, knowing there may be roadblocks. Same as every other funding project. In my opinion, whatever you paid for is fair. Especially after some of the higher packages have been boosted in rewards. But to compensate for everyone, I feel the only thing fair the developers could give people would be clothing or starting money. And all players already start with $1000. Giving every backer a car or home just makes the game too easy. Especially for those pledging less to get that ‘from scratch’ experience. While compensation would be nice, there is no good form in which I can see doing so that would make things still fair and fun and also feel like it’s enough compensation.
-
1 pointIts better to not have a release date, I would love to get up one morning and see en email with the key to identity. When they have a release date and they can't make it people get pissed off and usually refund it. I prefer not having a release date
-
1 pointI'll be blunt: I did not get that part. I still have faith in this game, though!

1 pointThis isn't even a question. As Governor candidate and a politician, I know that The Luprano Family will definitely be one of the biggest, if not the biggest criminal organisation to crack down on in regards to crime and other organisations within the community, due to their gigantic size in numbers constantly growing either every day or every second day.

1 point(a brief introduction to my character by way of his thoughts during a recent contract ) The air is thick tonight with the haze of wandering smoke crawling through an open vent shaft as if escaping down one of the towns dim lit back alleys. The alley is filled with the noise of poorly sung melodies from the gargled intoxicated mouths of some the towns so called upstanding citizens, footsteps tap across the pavement along the roadside in an almost perfect tempo, the unmistakable movements.... a beat cop walking his route like a well-trained robot. Like a quickened shadow I slip lower in the alley till eaten by the darkness, unseen, unheard, the officer looks down the alley as he passes by, feels like straight at me with that passion filled glow in his electric blue eyes, the look only lawmen have thinking they making a difference that righteous look of virtue...inherit justice (I laugh to myself). But that trained robot cannot sense a thing. I take out a metal chesterfield smoke holder from my jacket inside pocket I always felt I was born in the wrong era. I strike a match an old wax head across the wall it lights up my face for a split second as i inhale the first puff these damn things ...mother always said they would kill me one day, if won't be these things that help me meet my maker (I grin slightly) slipping a small photo from within a secret compartment under the cigarette holder. I draw another puff it lights up enough for me to take one last look at the photo I was given "what a beauty" Men would kill for you I think to myself. I check my watch closing time soon, people will roll out on the streets like sheep flocking to the nearest diner or eat-house to soak up all that top shelf poison that’s been filling them up all night. It’s 2am.Then right on time "last call" screeched from the tired overworked under paid bar maid in a mild but moody manner the sort that must make the patrons feel uneasy like it's really saying "GET THE FUCK OUT"...but it works and they clear out and fast like a flood. I call the number on the back of her picture, it rings for what feels like an age till the clumsy sound of a hastily pressed button sounds of the phone being frantically dragged through the contents of her overpriced knock off hand purse. She answers. I explain the situation I give her a name she knows all too well and tell her it's time for the exchange, her breath speeds up with excitement and anticipation of the joy to come, the joy only a junky can explain cause their next fix is just round the way, I tell her be alone, "of course" she calls me baby as she hangs up, I close my eyes like I always do and visualize. She makes her way out of the crowed street; her high heels click as she walks down the dark moist alley by now her cool calm charm from the phone call is all but gone I can sense it. She steps slowly, carefully but lower into the alley she steps right by me but can't see a thing, she whispers out the name I was given "Gino"...Gino...some low life drug dealer obviously, a hero a life saver a king among men in her jumped-up eyes but he's not here tonight. The clouds cover the moon light the alley becomes fully engulfed in a shadow of darkness, the sheep all heading out of the karaoke bar make it too hard to hear anything. She whispers again "Gino....where the fuck are you" …” Gino!”, its time I whisper back fast and hard a single click is heard then the whisper of an omega 9 silencer answers her calls with the hot fiery tongue of my Glock 19's 9mm hollow point tip…it enters her chest. She falls forward into my waiting arms, it whispers again...one more time just to make sure. I lay her down and toss a few bags of low grade Charlie next to her and tip all the junk onto the ground out her purse a quick scene set up not by cleanest but it'll do for this known junkie, I roll off the silencer and tuck my piece back into its holster. Her habit caught up with her and someone found it cheaper to have me be the reaper than wait for her to pay the bill. I slowly walk off into the night light another cigarette and merge into the locals partying along the street side fucking suckers think to myself, blending in, unnoticed, unseen. I’m one of them, but they’re not one of me, I slip the sim from my phone and crush it under my heel...time I head to my human ATM to make a full withdrawal collect my nights earnings and let him know that beauty meet the beast and this Cinderella won’t be coming back......I flip a smoke from my holder and light up the picture using it to light my cigarette I let it burn down till it disappears into ash an blows off my hand I look around it’s crowed , people everywhere (I smile as I tip my hat to a few dames passing by) they giggle an whisper to one another…. I love this town.

1 pointI'm gonna be sorry for saying this but; Please use your brain before you comment like this. There won't be vehicles in the first module. Maybe read this: http://www.identityrpg.com/info/modules/townsquare/ Thank you for your very intellectual comment! I am sure it helped out a lot!

1 pointWhile every mobster or "wise guy" is different than the other, a standard template can be established for how they live. Characteristics: A wise guy usually has a bad temper. They can't hold down a normal job because they won't take orders from people that they perceive as lower in power than them. (Such as most other men, and all women, except for their mother/grandmother). So to make a living, they take from those that deserve it. (Atleast most of the time.) A wiseguy respects women, but does not let them step over him. He is the boss of his house. He must be self confident; a weak man would never last as a mobster, whether it be mentally or physically weak. A wiseguy isn't necessarily rascist or sexist, but he isn't politically correct either. Clothing: The suit: It can be blue, it can be black, it can have a tie, it can be open collar. Mobsters can wear a variety of suits, as long as they aren't too tight or hipster looking. The suit is the business attire of a mobster and is worn at meetings and important ceremonies. The leather jacket: It can be a classic one, a bomber, or a longer coat, the leather jacket is the standard of day to day apparel of a mobster. Pants: Mobsters typically wear slacks, dress pants, or regular cut jeans, not skinny jeans. The tracksuit: Ya, I know. This is what a sleazy debt collector from New Jersey would wear, but that's the point. Various other apparel: Other attire can include peacoats, overcoats, wife beater undershirts, leather loafers, Italian style white tennis/soccer shoes, gold crucifix chains, rings, fedoras, and old school greek fisherman type hats. Some of these clothes might look horribly out of fashion to some people, but remember this: most mobsters don't follow fashion. They don't care about brand names. This is how many modern Italian American mobsters dress, and that's what matters. *Note, not all members of the Luprano family have to, or will dress like this, but it's an example of the some of the things we might wear. Leisure: Wiseguys enjoy eating fine Italian food, and enjoy drinks such as cognac/brandy, various whisk(e)ys, dark rums, wine and beer. They enjoy smoking cigars such as cohibas and montecristos. They drive cars like Cadillacs, Lincoln's, various sports cars and luxury sedans. They are the epitome of a man, and they will break your head if you tell them otherwise.
