3 pointsHey AstroJim! There will be a furniture store in Town Square that you can go to in order to "purchase" new pieces for your apartment. Module One (If there's no currency, how can you obtain new furniture?) https://clips.twitch.tv/BoringGoodEchidnaMingLee You are correct that there won't be any currency in Town Square, so you'll be able to obtain new furniture pieces for free. If you have a pledge rewarded apartment, you'll be given access to that in Town Square. If you don't, you'll still be given a smaller apartment to play with so you can experience the apartment customization features.

So you can imagine how slow time will flow for me especially when you consider that I've been away from home for a few months. P.S Internet sucks on the ship your best bet is when you reach shore find a McDonalds with free wifi and do what u need

2 pointsIt is truly an honour to be awarded this position. I hope I can be a keystone for a positive and innovating business sector for Identity, giving well researched and solid counsel. I will always serve The Royal Family Party and @LuciousTimes to the best of my ability. I will be looking to bring Identity's business leaders together to talk about things concerning business and politics, and the things we can do to make a positive change and inspire success. It will allow me to give the best counsel to our government and to make sure we are doing whats best for the citizens of Identity and Identity's business sector. Michael Payne Acting Business Counsel for The Royal Family Party.

1 pointCommitted to the Asylum Wow, what a month. This has been the busiest, craziest month we've ever had at Asylum Entertainment and the hard work is really showing. Most of the guys here at the office have been putting in a lot of overtime hours to get the Town Square module ready as soon as possible. I myself have been working half my time as a programmer, tossing some cool new systems together. I really, really can't wait for everyone to see what we're putting together! For the past few days my personal pet project has been a total overhaul of the character control and animation system. We're working on getting new animations entirely, but it's amazing how much nicer character movement looks right now after some extra TLC. In the past Identity videos, you'll notice the camera is always locked behind your character and you rotate the character with the mouse. Now, movement is a little more like games such as Grand Theft Auto in which you can run toward the screen or parallel to it, too. If you're holding your forward run key/stick, it'll play like before. It really adds a much better sense of control. Alternatively, when you're in combat mode (weapons or melee), the view is again locked behind your shoulders. None of this applies to first-person view, of course. We've been putting a lot of time into polishing and enhancing character creation and customization in preperation for the Town Square launch. I wanted to share a screenshot to give you an idea of the extensive customization options available. You can control your gender, race, blemishes, hair and a ton of facial modifiers. You can select from a couple dozen pieces of clothing to start in, too, but most will have to be purchased at a shop. Character creation work in progress I've been waiting a very long time to see Identity in the state it is right now. We have a powerful new server making nightly builds for testing on Steam and everything is beginning to have that good polished feel you expect in a real, released game. There's still work to be done but it's an incredibly exciting time for us here. Sooner rather than later There are all sorts of features we want for the Town Square which were always planned to be added months after release. With art development moving at a faster pace than I ever anticipated it would, given the relatively tiny size of our team, it seems that we might be able to include some of these features sooner than I expected. Some of these features, which should be ready somewhat soon after Town Square is available, include tattoos, haircuts and even the shooting range. Tattoo shop (WIP) Tattoo design and development progress (WIP) A look inside the Asylum In keeping with our committment to transparency and open communication with the community, our new website will soon be launching (even before the Town Square). The new website will have all sorts of shop options for you to check out, but one of the more interesting aspects will be our development tracker. We're going to be showing you exactly where our development stands in regards to each milestone, such as the Town Square release. You're going to see live data showing what we're working on and how long we expect each element to take. Then, following the Town Square release we'll keep this going for each future development milestone. It'll sort of be like looking over our shoulders in the office yourself. The Twitch Clips If you've been following Identity's development closely, you probably already know that developers stream their work live on the Identity Twitch channel every Tuesday and Thursday. We also use that time to answer almost every question that gets asked about Identity's development and gameplay. Now that we've been doing this a while, we've answered a lot of questions. Our awesome community manager, BeachBall, has taken the time to compile a massive list of questions linked to clips where they're answered by a developer. Get comfy and head over to the Twitch Clips Directory forum thread. If you haven't found this already, be prepared to spend a good bit of time listening to all sorts of awesome information. This is the best place to get to know the fine details Identity! -- John VanderZwet

1 pointI have given this idea some thought, and if I understand what you are saying correctly, I think this idea can be tweaked to become a challenge for the governor! I don't know much about how crime works in Identity, so don't take this too seriously. My idea is that if a criminal commits a robbery, it should cause property damage to the city. These property damages would be payed for by the government. The amount lost in damages would increase the longer law enforcement takes to arrive at the scene. Now, here's where the criminal map idea comes in. "Nice" areas can be robbed just like "bad" areas, but they cause more property damage per minute (or whatever unit of time). Keep in mind that the government has to pay for these losses themselves. In bad areas, property damage would be less. This prompts law enforcement to respond quicker to nice area crimes. Why? Because if the government loses more money (which would occur with going to bad area crimes reported first over nice area ones) their funding could be cut. The governor has to find out a good way to split up law enforcement efficiency for different places, to minimize damage and maximize satisfaction. Now, this whole thing makes a lot of assumptions, so take it lightly .

1 pointI know nothing about PC specs specifically, all I'm going off of is the whole if your PC can run GTA v, arma III and something else on minimum requirements then you should be able to run identity, I don't know if that's changed but I'm crossing my fingers
-
1 point@BrianHamilton I am very sorry to hear about that. Nobody should ever have to endure that kind of pain. I am glad you appreciated what I said, I was going through my old comments and saw the one on this thread. I thought it was a bit rude so I just wanted to let you know I changed my mind. It's good news that you are doing well. I hope to see you in game, maybe even as a supporter . Hey, second place isn't too bad .

1 pointThe Modules are small pieces of th game and we know only that you need roughly 10GB disk space. Specs are unknown right now as it is super early still. Beta is after the 3 modules I would say not to confuse you but will consist of a lot more content than the separated modules. If you can run games like GTA ArmA 3 or ARK then you should be fine. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: Recommended/Minimum System Requirements? A: There is still a lot to optimize and stress-test, so we don't yet have the data to support a proper conclusion. While a lot of the game's textures and models will be highly detailed, we still plan to offer lower graphical settings for those running older hardware.

1 pointIt will get hard, very hard on the last 2 days trust me... 2-1 day (s) before the release you will like feel the minute go for hours. The time will really stop if you keep thinking about it

1 pointAfter continued contemplation, @MichaelPayne will be representing The Royal Family as Acting Business Counsel until further notice. The Royal Family has been known for being active and connected with the people and because of that these changes were made. So please, congratulate Mr.Payne.

1 pointIf you want nudity, there's plenty of games for that. Identity is about cops, criminals, business, and interacting with other players. If the developers doesn't want nudity, that's their choice.
-
1 pointFirst of all, drunk driving is more common IRL than a naked person running the streets. Second, I have never seen a naked person run the streets ever and so it is actually rarer than anything towards drunk driving. People drink drove all the time and you can know this by listening to the news where people getting killed by a car from drunk drivers. Drunk driving is an actual good reason for a cop to chase someone compared to naked people.
-
1 pointPlus the developers want it to be allowed on Twitch and other streaming platforms. Drugs will pass, nudity most likely won't.
-
1 pointTbh any silenced pistol but a P99 with a silencer would be nice
-
0 points@LuckyDuck I understand where you're coming from, but you will still have people driving around drunk. That's also pretty unreleastic when there are 20 people or so doing that. I assume that running around naked in the streets would have the police run after that person. Even if they just add nudity of in your house, I think it would add more than make it negative. But then again, it's always the players themselves who choose how they use certain options in the game. @LordBenji As I stated in my post, they could do the "3 options" like Conan and Rust have, and those games can easily go on Twitch without any problem what so ever
