Hello everyone, I've recently come into an idea. Where you could maybe start up a restaurant business. Players can be hired by the owner to specific job duties. There should also be an option, where you can create your own menu and type of restaurant. There should also be warehouses or farms, which support these businesses. Instead of there just being NPC's, which take away from the whole role playing aspect of the game. Players would be a more exciting experience. It would also add more backstory to each individuals role play experience.

Raising valid and constructive points regarding Identity's development is fine! But I dislike it when I see threads devolve into personal attacks and slander. Please raise concerns in a respectful manner and don't bait for responses. Edit: This goes for the comments in this thread that eventually lead into personal threats. OP was fine to express his concerns as he did, but topics like these have been breeding grounds for attacks as of late. Please be respectful and mindful of others!

Why we shouldn't complain? Well a little background, I have been playing MMOs since the mid 90s. And I have been PC gaming since the mid 80s. So from 1996 to 2017, not one developer whether it be AAA or indie has created or even tried to create a real life city MMO. (Like grand theft auto) There are very few exceptions, All Points Bulletin was one of them. To me APB is not a real MMO because the game instances are limited to 50 cops and 50 robbers. The number can't go any higher. There maybe a few others I am not aware of. But I bet you can't count more than 10 MMOs that are set in a real life city, where u can enter in the interior's of buildings, drive cars, perform cop/criminal actions etc. Now personally, I have been waiting for an MMO set in a real life city theme since the inception of the original GTA 3 game. I have been waiting a long long time for a developer(s) to do this. Basically GTA 5 + MMO (MMO being the massive amount of players in one city). I still can't believe to this day developers opt to make medieval themed games, or some fantasy, swords, orcs, dragons save the queen bull**** that has been played out for over a decade in the MMO genre. I am somewhat angry at RockStar for not enabling more players to play together in GTA Online. RockStar responded with something like "GTA Online is not an MMO and will never be one". Now since I have been waiting 21 years for a GTA style MMO. I don't mind waiting a month or 10 for this game to come out. Hell i'll even wait another year for Identity to come out and be a full fledged functioning MMO. I really don't mind waiting a month. What is one month wait, when I have been waiting over 2 decades for this type of game to be released to the masses. Identity will be the only TRUE MMO that will be set in a metropolis. For this I am truly grateful. I thank Asylum for making my wish come true. And you guys take your time with this, as much as you need. Some games get delayed into vaporware, I presume this won't happen to Identity. And when it does release whether it be Alpha, Beta or retail, my wish will be a reality. Thanks Asylum

I believe so, or I might be thinking of a cafe but I am sure you can have your own restaurant. I will ask BB either way tomorrow.

The problem is those games don't have a prison system. Sure, a cop can click a button and send you to an allocated "prison" area, but that's not a prison system, that is a teleportation system. The devs for this game have stated that the prison system will be like a whole new game in and of itself. You won't just be standing in an area for 40 minutes, you will be following a timetable, joining prison gangs, working on your escape or playing sports. Yes, you will lose all of your illegal items but you lose everything when you die, legal or not. People rather die in games like GTA and Arma because they can lose all of their cheap stuff and illegal guns but right away get the opportunity to regain them all back with the millions they own. In Identity, you can die and lose everything or get arrested and keep some things. You won't be able to just die and run back to buy your stuff again because money is hard to get in Identity unlike Arma.

There will be an anti cheat system made from scratch for identity and I also believe Steam VAC bans will be something with it. Hackers, cheaters, exploiters are not tolerated and would get a game ban. (Permanent Ban).

People who have purchased the Founders pledge and up will get a steam key for the first module of the game. It'll likely deliver through email as well as on the website when logging in.

You must rent it through Asylum Entertainment. You can find the answers in the twitch clip directory: Official servers will basically be casual Role Play while private servers will have the ability to enforce RP rules. No to money. You cannot spawn in in-game money at all! However I am not too sure about different ranks but I am more certain that you will be able to do ranks for donators. What do you mean by this? If you mean on Official servers then it is a definitely a no. Private servers will have a minimum amount of slots that you will be able to rent, it will be better for RP, You can enforce rules, make the server white-listed to control the servers players. You can find out more in the twitch clips directory.

Hey, Beta is after all 3 modules. Module 1 will last all the way until the Beta and same with the 2 other modules when they release. They are 3 small separate standalone pieces of the game. The Beta will be after those 3 and will be the closest thing to the full game. Beta will last up until full release. Citizen will get you the full game at a heavy discount, and Founder will get you access to the modules and Beta + the full game.

I was just imagining something funny with what you said. Someone going into surrender state to said person and a random person runs to handcuff or zip-ties them and takes off with them. Be almost like your under arrest then they surrender, then some random person runs over and says, nope they are mine. Criminal it would be like you better surrender then the person surrenders then, a random person runs over and says, you snooze you lose, this person is mine.
