Anyone gonna do smuggling operations by sea? I'd love to have an old cargo ship with some smuggling at the side as extra income.

October? Please do me a favor and do your homework (aka search). The very first mention about gun play mechanic video was on the 13th of January 2017. And people DID ask for more videos. I'll give a few examples as I don't want to bore you with a bunch of forum threads. The "new" website will come out before the release of Town Square module, as well as the TS video. But for me, a video isn't fully representative of how the game will be. I'm less worried about a not so well done video than the actual module. But hey, if you're not satisfied, you can always wait and see for yourself in four weeks.

OP Thanks for sharing the link to the Video. IMO I enjoyed the video. The quality of the video is obviously low and much of the gameplay is clunky, I agree. The video was a long time coming and I'm disappointed at the length and quality. There are may exiting features to appreciate found within, regardless of the quality and length of time. The address lookup is interesting footage, also the environmental effects such as shadows and bird sounds to name a few. I'm excited to start working and playing and gaming with the first module. The second and third are still a ways off. I've been patient with the process, the progress, and the devs. Many others have as well. Soon we will enjoy our town square. The video is a nice insight, and that is all for now, at least for me. I'm as hyped for the game as I've ever been, since the day I learned of this MMORPG, since I pledged, and every time we take another step towards the release, I'm still hyped. Agree or disagree is all good. GG

Nice to see more communities being presented this early on. If you mean modding from the bit I quote, then no. No modding will be available at full game release. The devs would love to add modding support but it won't happen for years after the full game release. You can steal cars already but You cannot keep them. Hope this helps; Hope this community succeeds. Best regards, LuckyDuck.

I know there's people interested in zombies, and I'm not one of them. I would highly doubt they would put such feature in this game, as it would break the immersion in my opinion. But even if they would consider it, it probably wouldn't be their top priority.

If I remember correctly no one originally told them to make a video. The devs back in like October said a video would come before the year was out, it never came. Problems like these don't originate from the consumers, but the devs. I hope the PR team learn from their past mistakes and prevent these types of things, or at least be strong about not releasing something and sticking to it.

So I heard that delivery vans were going to be part of the game, but heres the real question for me - what about truck driving? I'm aware there's an emphasis on the driving in the game and also the realism of this, so surely truck driving should be a part of this game? Especially if the map is going to be roughly the same size as Altis

I hope so! Truck driving is a massive part of Altis Life, I really hope they can bring it into Identity in a more realistic way.

So I know the whole zombie thing is a bit overused and it has probably been suggested numerous times. But you cant deny how interesting it would be if devs managed to incorporate a proper zombie virus into the game (perhaps a Halloween only event?). I mean if the player population is gonna reach 300-500 players, you'd see some pretty huge hordes. I'd think it would be fun to see it happen in a more serious RP server personally. Like the initial infection, police responding only to become infected and see the virus sweep the server. I dont know how many players can be allowed in the same area, but you cant deny how interesting it would be to see something like this happen in a game like this. It's only a suggestion so if this idea is unpopular and/or not possible, no love loss.

I'd love that tbh. There should be normal servers, zombie servers and servers that start normal, but has a chance of a zombie virus breaking out and spreading to players. It has huge potential. Then the hordes of player zombies can chase the healthy players around the map, and the healthy players can hide in shops and stuff and barricade it and build traps. I doubt devs are going to do this, but I like the idea.
